While she was working in advertising, she started to reflect on her personal health and realized how important nutrition was in her long term wellness. She went back to school and became a registered dietitian. She is currently on a mission to help people achieve better health powered by better total nutrition. She is a media expert and specializes in educating doctors, nutritionists, and fitness professionals by founding The Better Nutrition Program - which offers programs for professionals to use in their practice that assess and advise on total nutrition. During her time as a student, she kept feeling the tug to direct patient care and after asking a mentor their thoughts, they shared more about renal nutrition and she has been working in this field ever since. She has her masters in counseling,  is currently a renal dietitian, has her own business and a valuable program called Dietitian Counselling Skills Program and is fiercely combining the two areas by getting her PhD in renal nutrition and counseling.
