News on marches in Republican States (surprise!?) and the NEA is nervous about losing members after the JANUS decision is announced.

More strikes, this time in Arizona and Colorado as teachers once again march for more pay. Will they be successful? Will threatened legal action stop them? And also a commentary on the recent California SexEd proposal that has some conservatives claiming Bibles will be banned. Not so.

Friday, April 27th there will be two "speech" events - state teacher's union associations are telling teachers across the country to "wear red for ed" in solidarity for the striking teachers. The same day, the LBGTQ community is promoting a "day of silence." The only politically correct choice is to wear read and be silent. What if we don't? 

Three topics: A look at the walkout on April 20th, a question Ed Week has raised about confederate-named schools, and a look ahead at Arizona and Colorado and possible teacher strikes in those states.

Public sector strikes are economically unsound. Dear striking teachers: be careful what you wish for!

A look at the data from school shootings reveals that nearly all of the shooters are ages 12-17. So will a change in age requirements to purchase a gun make any difference? Where are the kids getting them? I propose a novel solution for keeping them away from kids...but the mainstream media would never go for it. 

Teachers in several states - West Virginia, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Arizona - have all launched strikes. Why are they striking? Is it legal? And what about a call for a nationwide strike on May 1st? 

Now that the big march is done in Washington DC with smaller marches around the country, what constructive ideas have been proposed? In this episode, I look at the data from the march and consider the age-21 restriction by taking a look at school shooter data, only to find that an overwhelming majority of school shooters are under 18. So changing that law will help how?

A look back at the March 14th march and a look ahead to the March 24th march. And then we still have the April 20th march to look forward to. Is anyone teaching lessons anymore?
