Ep 45: Border Walls and Wildlife

On today's episode, Jason shares a little political talk, but without the politics. He is talking about the wildlife found in the Sky Island. Sky Island is located in Southeastern Arizona and Northwestern Mexico. The US-Mexico border crosses right through this beautiful country. Our tour guide is the Program Director for the Sky Island Alliance, Emily Burns. Emily has a 15 year resume of helping wildlife. She has worked for the Save the Redwoods League, started the citizen science project: Fern Watch and now, is the lead scientist of a wildlife study at the proposed site of a new section of border wall. Listen in as I talk with Emily about how the study is being conducted, why we even need this study, and what the Sky Island Alliance hopes to do with the information.
