Carren Smith is an inspirational speaker, author and survivor of the 2002 Bali Bombings. Following the suicide of her partner, a year later, Carren headed to Bali with two girlfriends. The heartbreaking tragedy was, she had planned to take her own life in Bali, but ended up being the only one who made it back. In this episode, Carren shares with us her incredible story of tragedy, pain, depression, spiritual expansion and growth. We talk about her partner's suicide who took her into what felt like a never ending hell of guilt and grief. How that led to her experience in Bali, and what it was like being the only one out of her friends who survived the tragedy. She shares her experience of grief and what it has taught her. Carren also tells me about the moment she decided to stop suffering and start healing, and what her dad said that helped her out of that darkness. We talk about forgiveness and self forgiveness in healing, and she offers her wisdom on how how we can all find the light within darkness, and choose to transform our greatest pains into purpose. @carrensmithhttps://carrensmith.com/BARKLEY EYEWEARwww.barkleyeyewear.com10% Off Code: ABUNDANCE10
