ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) is intended to put a human face on those people and households that, despite working very hard, live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to pay for the most basic necessities. ALICE effects all our lives in one way or another, and ALICE workers are critical to our economy. We discuss communities' relationships with ALICE, and what United Way is doing to help ALICE individuals and families who are struggling.

It's true, and there are "baby benchmarks" that parents and caregivers can look for to ensure their child is developing... and how United Way can help connect them with the right professionals for those children who aren't reaching the baby benchmarks just yet. Paula Gilberto, President and CEO of The United Way of Central CT, and Steve Parker are joined by very special guests to discuss.
