This episode Silas got to sit down and talk with comic Monica Nevi. Monica is a regular at Laughs Comedy Spot and a favorite throughout the Northwest. In 2012, she was selected to perform at the prestigious Bridgetown Comedy Festival. This was a special episode as it was recorded on behalf of Stand Up Against Cancer, a benefit show to raise money for the fight against cancer. Here is the premiere episode of a new podcast called Comedic Wisdom, hosted by Silas Lindenstein. Special Guests: Melissa Shoshahi and Simon Kaufman. Recorded in Seattle, WA in January of 2012 Silas is a stage actor and director who last year discovered his love of performing stand up comedy in the Seattle, WA area. He developed this show to help help him learn the craft from more experienced comics in a more  intimate setting than hanging outside of a bar. His hopes are that other "open mic comics" can also learn from these interviews as he asks questions that many new comics also have and get a straight answer from his guests. There is clearly no "one correct answer" when it comes to stand up comedy. He hopes that through interviewing a variety of comics at different years of experience, he and other comics will find answers that work for them.
