Whiteness is not a color; it is an ideology; a set of normed behaviors, beliefs, and privileges that favor white people. Whiteness is the standard; everything is “other”. Pandemic is an outbreak that is prevalent over an entire country or the whole world. Added together, whiteness is a pandemic that has spread over this country. And America can never be great as long as the pandemic of whiteness runs rampant with no vaccine.
