Listen to the podcast  RSS  iTunes:  In the Cloudlife podcast this week This is Cloudlife's first podcast recorded on a plane.  On the return journey from Dreamforce 2014, Matt speaks with software industry analyst and blogger, James Governor of RedMonk. The conversation covers a lot of ground; why James was in San Francisco at Dreamforce 2014 and the RedMonk organized IOT At Scale event.  What's his take on what Salesforce is looking to gain from it's investment in the Internet Of Things and the part developers have to play in solving the engineering challenges that come along with all the devices and technology which are being connected. For the second half of the interview we discussed a topic which James is very passionate about and has been directly involved with back in the UK, diversity and opportunity.  Inspiring stuff which directly affects our industry and these are issues which we could all benefit from engaging with. My interview with James has given me plenty of food for thought.  I hope that you too find it thought provoking, we'd love to hear your comments via the blog or Twitter.
