6: Activism - Live from #climatestrike Dublin 20.09.19

Welcome back to Climate Queens Podcast. This month’s episode structure is a little different, as we bring you live recordings straight from #dublin city as part of the Global Youth #climatestrike on 20.09.19. Activism is at the heart of this episode and as you know by now, we are all about championing climate action. We bring you live chats directly from people marching for the future of our planet, which really captures the essence of activism. We also found some time to bring you some special guests like: Edwin Alblas from: https://www.climatecaseireland.ie/ Aisling McGuire from: @patagoniaDublin Siofra Caherty from: @jumpthehedges  Cormac Nugent from:  @extinctionrebellionireland And really the stars of the show are the voices of the Youth on strike. Be warned, this is an emotive episode and because of this we have allowed a full 45 minutes of uninterrupted passion, climate action and speeches from those who are making waves and striking for change to fight for our futures.  Some groups mentioned that you can support are:  https://www.stopclimatechaos.ie/ https://notherenotanywhere.com/ https://extinctionrebellionireland.com/  https://www.friendsoftheirishenvironment.org/ https://voiceireland.org/ https://www.foe.ie/  We are proud to have been a part of what was the biggest climate strike  mobilization in history with Over 4 Million people, but now we need to come together, stand up and take action. To quote directly from some very young climate activists from 20.09.19: “We need to wise up - we need to wake up and we need to start right now We need to build a better future and we need to start right now.”
