Not too long ago the only official footage of a given raceday was recorded on two handheld cameras, one in the lead truck and one in the follow truck. Will sits down with the two men who did all that filming, Matt Adler and Chris Stengle, as they they share some wild stories of the chaos of trying to capture the event while standing in the back of a moving truck, rule review controversy, the evolution of the sport and more on the season 2 debut of Chute the Shit!

When you show someone buggy for the first time, one of the standard responses is, "Is there really a person inside that?" Usually there is, unless they're looking at something from Robobuggy, a team who is working to build an autonomous self driving buggy. We hear about the history of their organization, how they broke into the buggy community and became a beloved meme, some absurd technical challenges they've had to overcome, exactly how robobuggy works and their thoughts on the future of an autonomous buggy division. Over the past decade no team has dominated the Buggy scene like SDC, winning a record 8 years in a row on the men's side and 10 of the last 13 on the women's. Many see them as the "New York Yankees" of buggy, but it wasn't so long ago they were the underdogs fighting to take down a PiKA dynasty. We talk to SDC alumni from those teams that battled in 2008 and finally broke through with a course record in 2009, about what it took to make it to the top, and then contrast that with more recent alums who set course records in 2017 to see how the culture has grown to allow for such consistent excellence. We ask them how they deal with the pressure of so much success, what it's like being 'the bad guys' and how they see the future of buggy changing, or whether they will win indefinitely until the end of time.

This week we sit down with two multi-generational buggy families, the Clay's and the the Zapanta's. We talk about what it's like growing up in a buggy household, seeing your kid take up the sport you loved, how sharing that experience can strengthen family ties, as well as the heartbreaking sense of betrayal that comes from learning your daughter has decided to drive for PiKA.

We're joined by 4 of the original members of the Spirit Buggy team, who share the incredible underdog story of how they went from a brand new buggy team, to four years later setting a course record that shocked campus and would last 20 years. They share the challenges of starting from nothing, making it up as they went along, and trying to enter a very established traditional sport as an African American interest group who was seeking to integrate more strongly with the campus at large.
