EP 152 Container of Joy
Know You Are Earth: The podcast to remind us, that we are part of Nature May the Song of the Birds uplift your Heart. As we remember that we are part of Nature, we understand our place within the endless cycle of Life after life after Life. *Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe *Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available *Share with your friends!!!   The forest show us that all Life is recycled, form after form. From seed to tree to dead branch to mushroom to soil to grass. Every single atom is on a constant journey of transformation. From the colour in an insect’s wing, to the energy that creates sound. And there is a Wisdom, a wild Wisdom, to this immense, abundant diverse creation. It is the Wisdom that has built you. The very structure of your bones, your muscles, your organs. That is the same Wisdom that creates all Life. It grow your bones, as it grow the forest. It flows in your blood as it flows in the stream. And it sings in your Heart, as it sings in the song of the birds. That’s my faithful helper Mr McNookster over there in the stream. As we remember, truly remember, that we are part of Nature, which means, part of the endless cycle of Life after Life, the endless transformation, it means we can never leave even when we die and we have always been here as part of one Life. And this is the reality. This is the truth. Let that penetrate your Heart and enable you to relax into the security of always being carried by Life. We live in challenging times, but turning again to our true Nature, is a doorway into the real Magic that is ever present. It is the container of Joy in which everything else rests. This is Know you Are Earth. This podcast is designed as an antidote to the news, to uplift and inspire, to ignite and invigorate. These are qualities that we need now. Please share it with your friends. You can subscribe on itunes and then receive a notification every time one is ready, once a week for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, stretch out your ears to the birds. Awaken your awareness of Nature’s secret agents with us in so many surprise locations, to remind us to see clearly the beauty of Now. EP 151 Woodpecker Party!
Woodpecker party! Welcome to the Woodpecker Party! From where I’m sitting, I can hear at least five different woodpeckers. I hardly dare speak. What an incredible difference in sound there is now even compared to last week. It's not even an Imbolc yet. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you Imbolc is the seasonal festival that falls between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. It marks the time when the first stirring starts to reveal itself. The snow drops, the buds getting really big. What comfort there is in these cycles. We are not on a linear trajectory where we have failed to live up to our full potential as humans. This is part of a spiral. With no beginning and no end. The bushman of the Kalahari say that when you notice a certain animal, its song or its track, a thin thread is created between you. As you notice again and again the same animal, the thread becomes thicker and stronger creating a link between you. You know of each other. You recognize each other. And this is like a strand in our web of connecting to all Life. A very tangible one, two at a time then. Is there a bird near you that you know and that knows you? This is Know You Are Earth. Strengthening our bonds of connection to reawaken the ancient memory that we are part of Nature.

EP 150 Rain on the Yurt
Rain on the Roof. I wonder if you know what this sound is? It is pouring with rain and it is the sound of the rain on the yurt roof. Beautiful human creatures we are, growing out of this planet with our magnificent bodies and minds, and incredible power of the imagination. Everything we have created began with an imagination. In these times of apparent challenge, we have this wonderful opportunity to use these challenges to fuel us to focus our minds on what we would prefer.   Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you Every single disaster we hear on the news or on a scientific report , can be taken as a resource, as a treasure to remind us again and again and again to use this power unique to humans to focus, not just with our minds, but with our feelings, on the world our hearts know is possible. This incredible potential within us all. And there goes the rain cloud. We are just left with the drips from the trees. Can you hear them? As we grow on the surface of this planet, all that we do in being part of the changes of Earth, is just part of the endless changes of Earth. There is this paradox isn't there? On one hand there is this world we know is possible, that we feel in our Hearts. The potentila of the human being. But to get to that place, to really reach that place, I believe we have to face the death, have a near death experience of this world as we know it. As we face full on, that fear and grief and not knowing and surrender into accepting the never ending change rather than fighting against it or clinging on, to hold everything stable, then we are transformed, and then we will create the world that our Hearts know is possible. Know you are earth. Know you are rain. Know you are wind and Know you are fire, and Know you have been here forever and will be here forever. What a wonderful joy and incredible awe this gives us! What lightness and brightness to this temporary life! It is possible right now, and in that lightness and brightness, we discover we are already here! We are already in the world that our hearts know is possible. May our minds expand and warp away from our normal understandings until we find joy in each changing moment.

EP 149 A Little Bit Afraid
A little bit afraid. A wind is coming. A wind that will clean and strip bare. A wind that will knock down. Sitting in the cave, waiting for it to get dark, I had the feeling that a boar might come for a bath. I was a little bit afraid. The wind is coming like a wave. Share with your friends! EP 148 Winter’s Cave
The Cave of Winter where all things enter so that the dreams of possibility may be implanted while we sleep. Nature teaches us that this time is necessary. To lie silent in the dark and let the unseen movement transform us. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you Although we still have a lot of Winter to go, already the birdsong has a different flavour in its sound as imperceptible to us, the days already begin to lengthen. There is a promise in their song that Spring will return, but it is not yet time. There are more dreams to be dreamt. My name is Maryjane. I am sitting in a forest of fog. the soil here is still soft, although outside, in the field, it is iron. Welcome to this year. May the dreams of infinite possibility implanted in our Hearts and minds be made manifest in our speech and actions. May these sounds of nature remind us that we are part of all Life.

EP 147 Watching the eddies
Watching the eddies. Welcome, welcome to the stream. This podcast is dedicated to the Wisdom of Nature that flows through our veins and beats our Hearts so strong. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you I’m watching the eddies in the water. Completely silent although the rush from the rain yesterday makes the rest of the stream so loud. In my mind I am giving thanks to these birds that they share their voices with us. They so often stop singing when I get my recorder out. But today they told me to stop here, I know it sounds crazy. Do you remember before, when we sat in the Forest surrounded by trees, unable to see very far. And so we stretch out our ears to the birds that we knew so well and we understood their language. And it is they that brought us the news. Here comes the wind. The Forest is nearly bare now, the ivy, green, one or two leaves fall. Place your thoughts upon this stream as each one rises and floats away like a leaf on the surface. Here’s another one. On the surface are the eddies, and the leaves of our thoughts. When I look through the surface there are the leaves and the stones on the bottom of the stream bed. And reaching out deep, deep below are the reflections of the trees above. Wobbling with the eddies. May this cold stream flow fresh within you. May this fresh air blow clean through mind and may relax knowing that You Are Earth. You are part of all this.

EP 146 Between Forest and Lake
The edge between forest and lake I’m sitting on the very edge, the edge between the Forest and lake. The edge between land and sky. Right on the edge of the world just like you. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you There are some wonderful sounds here. This edge between so many different environments is placed at incredible richness. The wealth of the water and the water sounds, the Forest and the Forest birds. And I hope that you are able to hear the whirr of the bird’s wings as they fly over head. I sit here waiting so harvest the best sounds for you. But the whole time is an on going symphony of change. Never again, all these combinations exist. Never again, all these moment be as it is right now and the sound is just one aspect of this magical endless changing, multi-dimensional love. Those of you familiar with our podcast can probably hear that I’m somewhere different. And a jogger has just turned up in bright orange. I’m sitting on a tree trunk and Mr. McNook, my faithful companion is very interested. You can hear the sheep farm on the other side of the lake. I think a farmer has just turned up with his dog over there as well. So it’s all action here. That is a crazy sound! No matter what, no matter where, this moment will never ever be again. The way the sound is, the way the Light is, the way you are breathing, how you’re feeling, the thoughts you are thinking, the people you can see, never again will it be quite like this. I think that might be a Heron making that noise. Just above me in the tree.

EP 145 Forest Rain
Forest Rain Welcome to Know You Are Earth. This is Maryjane and today I’m coming from the Forest. And the sounds you can hear today are Forest rain. It’s not actually raining, but it was raining last night. And so now the Forest is raining. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you Sometimes it seems as if Nature is just so mischievous! Every time, I’m going to record a podcast I come walking and the birds are singing their heads off. I come into the Forest and they are singing their heads off and I stop in a place to find the podcast. And as soon as I get my equipment out, they stop singing. Honestly this happens every time! I’m not sure why, I guess, well I mean, they’re watching. They’re watching all the time with their beady alert eyes. And this just proves to me, I’m very closely watched. (That’s Mr. McNook just shaking). So, I’ll try and get more equipment out, I wait for about twenty minutes for the birds to stop being so suspicious on me. I would have thought they have known me by now, but I guess they don’t. Maybe it’s just their little joke. These beautiful birds, absolutely in tune with the seasons. With their song, with all their activities. In here, in this drippy wood, most of the leaves have fallen except the oak trees now. All that was hoped for and wished for and aspired for and built and created in the summer is now going to rest. To be integrated as nutrient for new growth to come. I think this podcast might turn into a bit of a kind of advice one actually. It’s so easy isn’t it with our busy lives. I have to take my daughter to school the same time every single day all year. It seems wrong to me. It’s not what Nature’s doing. Now is the time to gather in, to rest. (That’s a little breeze that’s making the Forest rain more). I wish you were here. I wish you could see these colors. I tried to take a photo but it’s not the same. The colors aren’t the same. And I want you to be surrounded by this cool, clean air and these mischievous birds. And these raindrops shining like silver on the end of every twig. The magic here is evident and so obvious. It’s good to know that we are part of this wherever we are, wherever we are, wherever you are. You are surrounded by Nature even of the middle of the densest city, everything is made of Earth. Elements from Earth, just different arrangements.

EP 144 Face down on a damp bank.
Face down on a damp bank These sounds of Nature throughout the year remind us of our belonging to Earth. These are the sounds we are designed to hear. These are the sounds that are hardwired into our understanding of Life. When we hear running water, it means it’s somewhere we can survive. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you My name is Maryjane and I’m lying facedown on a damp bank in the woods. It is my utter privilege and joy to be able to share these sounds with you. For thousands, and thousands and thousands of years, we have evolved with the sounds of Nature. These are the sounds that were made for us. The sounds, we were made to hear. Come and sit by the stream with me and let these sounds relax your mind and lift your Heart and remind you that you belong here on Earth. You are at home. You are an intrinsic part of all Life. This flowing of the stream, this force, this Wisdom, it is flowing in you. This beating in your Heart, and flowing through your veins. It is grown your bones, and it is present in every single cell of your body. This Wisdom that creates all Life is in you. I believe that it is this Wisdom in our Hearts that let’s us know that a kinder world is possible that we can live together in loving harmony with Earth and with each other because Nature, because Earth is so generous and abundant with her diversity. She is so resilient and so adaptable. Shifting and moving and changing accepting all and recycling it into nutrient of a new Life. May the Wisdom inherit within each one of us for a stronger and clearer. So that we can create a world where everyone has enough. If you enjoy this podcast, please share it with your friends. You can subscribe on iTunes and set your phone to receive notifications every time I release a new episode which is every Friday. Thank you for your Vision and your focus. You are a powerful force. And together we are a powerful team. This is Maryjane from Know You Are Earth.

EP 143 This is the sound of Earth turning
This  is the sound of Earth turning These are the sounds of Earth turning towards the Light. The wave of dawn chorus across the globe as Earth spins round and round. And the bird song tells us of this spinning in sound. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you For thousands of years we have evolved with birds. Extending our ears out to listen to their signals. They tell us of news further away than we can hear ourselves, of an animal passing or food being found. Can you imagine walking in a world only of natural sounds? How we would extend our senses as far as we can rather than shutting them down to block out traffic noise or aeroplane noise? And in that extension of our senses reaching out into the environment around us we become larger. Listening and communicating with a wide sphere around us. The birds are seen in many myths as magical messengers of the divine. Their ability to fly to other dimensions is something I think we have all imagined and perhaps wished for. These beautiful clear sounds. Hear how they are clear even above the traffic. I think of the birds as Nature’s secret agents even in a city. There they are hopping around watching with their bright eyes. And with a wink and a nod, and a whirl of wings, they send their special signals to each other. I wonder if you know of a particular bird in your Life, they hung out in the same territory so there might be one that lives in some trees near you and they see you and sing to you. And in our Hearts we know we have evolved for thousands and thousands of years together with them. So look out for Nature’s secret agents and listen for their ancient song. It awakens within us the ancient memory of belonging. Belonging to Earth. Being part of all Life. My name is Maryjane, I’m on a misty early morning French hill. And the Earth is just waking up. And this podcast has been called ‘Choose Your Grooves’ but I’m changing the name to ‘Know You Are Earth’. Know you are Earth and you know you belong. I shall be away for a few weeks no but when I come back I shall record again the sounds for the year as Earth turns. Know you are Earth and you know that you belong. Know you are Earth and you know of the Power within you. Know you are Earth and you can hear the Wisdom that grows all Life in your Heart. Know you are Earth and you know of the infinite Possibility. The ability to adapt and evolve. Know that you are Earth, and know that you are part of one Life, rest, held in this knowing. Until next time, many blessings.

EP 142 Beloved Nature Sounds
Our Beloved Nature Sounds   This is the podcast of our beloved Nature sounds as I change throughout the year. This is a very exciting moment. The stream has just started to flow after about two months of being dry.  Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you The Forest is dripping with the recent rain and everything is looking fresh, bright, always like a second spring. This water that is flowing past right now has travelled immense distances for huge, huge amount of time. Who knows exactly where it has been?! In the clouds as rain taken perhaps, from the sea by the sun lifted by the wind of the mountains and brought to Earth in rain travelling through rock, soil, through plants and animals. Through the cells of bodies that have been. Through the air as mist constantly recycled. When there are these beautiful sounds, I feel almost speechless to add anything to their beauty. May these sounds relax you as they do me. May the stream remind you of your constant presence here on Earth. Throughout all time, recycled atoms, elements, chemicals, the very soil of your body having made the same elements, genus, through time and space as this water. Many blessings.

EP 141 Badger in the Blackthorn
Badger in the Blackthorn This is the podcast of seasonal Nature sounds where we find the seasons of Nature within us and the seeds of all Possibility. I am sitting deep in a bush. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you The bush is a Blackthorn and it’s grown where once the land grew grape vines and then was cleared. The Blackthorn has grown up so thickly. You’ll see in the photo that goes with this podcast and it’s so prickly and so dense, impenetrable. Because of this, little seedlings have been able to grow safely. Now there are tall oak trees and ash trees and the Blackthorn is dying down, having done its job. This wonderful example of being a pioneer in a barren landscape with its prickly, defensive impenetrableness. I’ve been crawling around in the bush I found a badger skeleton. Complete with a skull and all the vertebrae. Inside each one of us are the seeds of every possible emotion. The ones that we water the most frequently are the ones which grow more strongly and play the largest role in our lives. In the common culture of being media, we hear so many distressing things about the world and each other. When we listen to the mainstream media, the seeds inside of us that are frequently watered, when we see the news of what we’re doing to Earth and each other they’re quite often the seeds of despair and grief and disillusionment, fear, anger, hopelessness. We are like this Earth, and we need to protect our gentle minds just as the Blackthorns protects the Earth. So, these strong oak trees that support so much Life can flourish. We need to cultivate joy and gratitude for Life right now to grow strong within our Hearts, within our lives, within our minds, within our interactions with each other and with Earth. To water these seeds and protect these young seedlings. A way to do that is to turn off the news. Probably you hear about what is going on anyway. But I often ponder the question. Which is more responsible, to know about all the disasters going on worldwide or to care for what we feed our minds? Deep in this bush of prickly Blackthorn, this fierce protection to return this land that has been wiped clear, to Forest which is the most abundant and diverse form that Nature takes. I think that we need to be as fierce with the protection of our minds as the Blackthorn is with Earth. And then water the seeds of joy and the gratitude of this never to be repeated moment. There- gone already.

EP 140 Innocent World
Innocent World What if we were to see this world as if for the first time ever? To arrive on Earth in this day with no labels about what anything is. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you I wonder where you are right now. Can you look around, hear around, feel around, smell around with no identification placed onto anything? Just forms, colors with no name. Light and dark. Every sound, part of the orchestra of now. Never ever to be repeated in this unique combination. Doesn’t it bring your heart into your mouth to see how innocent the world is without our labels? To sit in the still point, in the center of so much, so much richness. Entering our bodies through every sense at the same time in new combinations in every moment. This is Choose Your Grooves. This podcast is for Vision Holders of a world where we live kindly with each other and with Earth. And for those that know that this kindness, of course, starts from within. I wonder where you are now. If you are seeing the world around you. Hearing it, fresh, unique, and gone in a moment. This symphony of sensation of being human. I love to think, I love to see in moments like now, for the first time- but also as if for the last time. As if never again, and it is truly like this, never again will this moment be like this. Doesn’t it just make you want to say thank you? Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wonder what’s going on over there with all those crows. There might be something to eat. If you liked this podcast please leave a review on iTunes or write a comment. I’d love to hear from you. Share it with your friends. May the richness of each moment fill your Heart with Joy.

EP 139 Warrior of the Heart
Nature's Rhythms Welcome Sweet Warriors of the Heart, Vision Holders of the World that our Hearts know is possible. We know in our Hearts that a kinder way is possible. And how do we know this? Why is it so clear? What is this knowing and where does it come from? Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you It is because we are Nature. We are built of Earth and there is a Wisdom that flows through all Nature. You can see it in the Forest. In the diverse abundance. You can see it running in the stream and singing in the bird song. And it is running in the streams of our veins and it is singing in the song of our Hearts. And that is why we know. The incredible Wisdom that has created this world knows exactly what it’s doing as it flows through us and our evolution. Every single cell of you is suffused by this Wisdom, this Life. And here we are, blessed to share another day for the Wisdom of these bodies to be able to hear and interpret. To see and to choose, to breath. There is a dynamic tension within us. It is of the grief and the pain that we feel of the state of the World combined with this knowing in our Hearts. These two forces are like the sun and the rain inspiring a seed to grow. At first, the seed is quite comfortable with the shell around it. Enclosing it safely, securely. But then the warmth and the moisture provide the irresistible urge to grow. This is like the tension in us. The pain for the world and then knowing that there’s another way. Realizing now that the other way isn’t relying on technological solutions or government agreements or anybody else to do anything differently. This is why I say Warrior of the Heart, because this is the work that begins inside each one of us and every one of us. As we look or imagine this kinder world, the world our Hearts know is possible. It’s a place where many things that are happening now are no longer happening. And a whole bunch of other stuff is happening. And yet when we look in this way, we are pushing against what is. And when we push against what is, our pain turns to blame. And unlike the Forest, we no longer move with an acceptance. Thank you for this day. For this breath, for all that has happened today. Thank you for all the people in my Life. And thank you for this Earth that supports me. Thank you for this air that fills me. Thank you for these birds that sing, the sun that shines. Thank you for the moss, and the dew, and the spiders, and the woodpeckers. Thank you for the technology that means I can record this, send it to you. Thank you for thank you. Thank you for the doorway that thank you is, the time warp of thank you. We’re deeply into the doorway of thank you. And it lifts my Heart so much that I find that right now, I am living in a world that my Heart knows is possible. Thank you, thank you. Thank you.

EP 138 Nature’s Rhythms
Nature's Rhythms   Nature sounds throughout the year remind us that we are part of Earth. The sounds of the different times of year, remind us of the rhythms of Nature. The rhythms alive, within us. And as we relax into these natural rhythms, the Wisdom that grows all Life is more able to guide us. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you  To move through us in a flowing ocean. These sounds remind us that we belong here. We are not connected to Nature. We are Nature. We are as wild and as free, as the streams and the birds. We have the rhythm of the tides and the moon within us. Action and rest, night and day, equally balanced. In this world we go, go, go. The resting time is often forgotten or put aside as not so valuable. But in Nature, there is equal rest and equal action. Equal Light and dark. As we relax more deeply, more often, this is when the true Wisdom, the brilliant ideas are born. Not through striving and trying. And every single thing that is woman or man invented and created on Earth starts with an idea. The idea is the seed. The ideas that we often imagine are frequently created as a result of the information coming in to us. We don’t realize we’re doing it. But when we relax deeply and take some time free from the media and tune in to our own Nature. The sounds of Nature. The sounds of our breath. The rhythm of our Heart. Then this is where the pure, fresh, brand new ideas and imagination of pure creation. The Wisdom of Life can be sparked within us and rise spontaneously. And these are the ideas that lead to a flourishing Life. Because these are the ideas that come without striving. Produced from Nature. These are the ideas and the imagination then knowing in your Heart that a kinder world is possible. Because we are magnificent creatures on a stunningly incredible Earth. Belonging to Life and with Earth’s Wisdom rising up through us, pulsing through us with Natural rhythms. And this is the Wisdom, Vision of joy and gratitude, and awe, and wonder. So, let’s relax more. Redress the balance as we move now towards the resting time of the year. Let those seeds of ideas start to grow within us.

EP 137 Temple of Human
Temple of Being Human Image: John T     It is dawn on autumn equinox and to tell the truth, there’s not a lot to record. It is the in between time, between night and day. Between the days being longer than the nights. And now entering this time where the nights will be longer than the days. It’s a shift and balance and here we are right across, right between the in breath, and the out breath. The darkness and the Light.   Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to receive notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow Thank you for your donation! There is a gift waiting for you This brink that we sit on all the time between awfulness that goes on in the world and the terrible pain that we feel and the utter wonder of now. This blissful moment of aeroplane noise and almost no bird song where we are breathing, exchanging our inside with the outside so intimately. Where sound waves are rolling in to our spiral ears and our minds are labeling and interpreting it all. Faster than the blink of an eye, we create the world that we sit in right now. This place is a temple, it is the temple of being human. It is the place where the shadows hold secrets and allow our imagination to grow. The place where the Light shines so brightly and the wind moves everything so slightly that there’s not one single moment, it is ever the same. It’s constantly flowing, changing whirlwind of sensation. A physical sensation of this moment. What can you feel? Where is your body warm and cool? Where is it relaxed? Or tight? All this information coming in. The hearing, the physical sensations, the breathing, the thinking, seeing, feeling. We live in this dense jungle. The temple of human on the edge between what we like and they’re like what we want and don’t want. And on this magical, magical day of car sound and aeroplane noise, and almost no bird song, I welcome us into this temple of human of the turning seasons of this beautiful Earth. To embrace it all, the dark and the Light. Just as Nature shows us how to with their patient acceptance and endless loving embrace. And mischievous winks. In the end, it all seems so very, very much. So much that we know how to do and want to do. And so much we cannot understand. The conclusion that I always come to is thank you. Thank you. Thank you for now. Thank you for now being exactly as it is. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for all that I like, and dislike. All the feelings I want, and don’t want. For all ways that I judge and create. For the experience, of experiencing. Happy equinox!

EP 136 Core of Earth
Core of Earth 6,371 kilometers beneath us is the center of the Earth. A molten core of iron so hot that it moves around continuously creating an electrical current. This in turn, creates a magnetic field that pulses through these thousands of kilometers of solid rock and out into space, passing through each one of us in the way. Share with your friends! There is a gift waiting for you So, every moment of everyday and every night we have this energy from the center of Earth passing through us, energizing us, feeding us, nourishing us and at the same time we are irresistibly drawn towards Earth by the power of gravity. So here we are, so closely bound to Earth. Our physical bodies made the same atoms, the same elements that create trees, rocks, animals, clouds, rivers, mountains. Springs the well up out of this Earth. All these are elements within us, within you. We are as rooted in the Earth as a tree. We are like walking trees. Each one of us and all of us. And as we practice deepening our understanding of how we are so intimately part of each other, part of Earth. And we start to look out through Earth eyes and to see with a patience and inclusiveness that Earth has for us.

EP 135 Imagine the world at peace
Just Imagine! The World at Peace. Share with your friends! Click on the orange button above to choose how to subscribe.  Organise your device to recieve notification when each new episode is available. FollowFollowFollowFollow This is the inside out podcast. It is like an antidote to the news. Instead of having information and images coming in to us that then stimulate feelings of despair, disbelief and disillusion about the World, this works completely the other way around. These are the sounds of Nature today. It’s a bit cooler now and the birds start to sing again. And through their song, we are reminded that we are part of all Life and that this Life rose with the Wisdom that is inherent in all Nature in every stem of ivy that spirals around the tree, in every stream that rushes and every bird that sings. It’s the Wisdom that grows trees and children and it’s the Wisdom that knows to create wonderful and abundant Life. This Wisdom of Nature is inherent to us. Part of that Wisdom is knowing in our Hearts that we can live more kindly together on this beautiful globe. And so, in this time that we have now, we can find the Vision and the feeling inside of a kinder world. Just imagine, that you wake up in the morning and discover that all the world is at peace. How would you feel? How do you talk to your family? What do you talk about? The world is at peace. Just imagine that! We often use our imagination unconsciously to worry about things that we’d fear might happen. We don’t even realize it doing it. But we can consciously use our imagination and step into a world we desire. A world at peace. Can you imagine what you might see on the news? Or how you might react to other people of other cultures, different religions, different colors and all the world is at peace and we can relax.   I wonder if you could hear my husband practicing the trumpet up the hill and Mr McNook with me, licking and panting. To do this recording, I’m avoiding airplanes and cars. I want to bring you pure Nature sounds. Sometimes it seems really hard. But even with these other sounds, we can imagine what we want. The World at peace, a basic undercurrent of our entire existence here in our planet. To use your focus and your intention in this way, is a powerful service that you’re doing for all of creation. I don’t think that there are that many people doing it. But when you focus your intention and your imagination, everything we’ve created on Earth begins with an idea, with a focus. And as we, together take on this role, in the face of it all, in the face of all news of disaster or whatever, to be vigilant without focus. And to keep creating and recreating within, the experience of a World at peace where everybody has enough. Thank you for your part in this creation. You are a powerful force and together we are a powerful team. My name is Maryjane, I’m sitting on a damp hill surrounded by bramble bushes and these are the birds and all the sounds of this moment. Many blessings to you.

The podcast of Nature sounds. The Earth is singing. Waves of sound move around the Earth in conjunction with the sun. The birds of the morning and these grasshoppers of night. These are the sounds of Earth spinning in space. These are the sounds that we are designed to hear. The sounds that connect us to being part of all Life. The sounds that awaken within us the memory that we are Earth. We are part of one Life. Everyone, everything, every animal and every plant, every mountain and every stream, every cloud and every breath. All made of the same elements being recycled again, and again, and again. Each atom on its own incredible journey of transformation. Anything that ever has been here on Earth is still here in the form of changing atoms and everything and everyone whoever will be here is already here now in the form of changing atoms. I love to think of this. Life somehow is less personal and more universal when I think these things, I feel in a very real and physical way, that I am a part of you, part of this planet. Like the tiny hairs growing on my arm, we are all grown from Earth. This knowing means that we belong. We are part of all Life. We are home. The atoms of Earth, winds, water and fire are intrinsically parts of us. As is all past and all future. Embodying this knowing, changes how Life looks, how other people appear. It shifts perspective into an entirely different understanding of who we are, and I love it. For me it gives me the ability to see with joy. To look at another person with awe. And to feel immense gratitude for the experience of experiencing as a human being for a moment. My prayer is that the vibrations of these grasshoppers warp our minds, so we can see with gratitude and awe. And think and feel, speak and act, and interact with the deep knowing that we are part of each other. And in all the small actions that we do through the day, from this perspective that we contribute to creating a world where everybody, everybody has enough. My name is Maryjane, I’m sitting in the dark on a hill in France thinking of you. If you enjoyed this podcast, please share it with your friends. EP 133 The Protection of the Forest
The Protection of the Forest.   I've been waiting in the Forest for ages for the birds to come back. Though now the hawk has come. And the silence came too. Can you hear me? Can you hear me? You can hear me. That means that there is blood pumping through your heart. It means there is air going in and out of your body. It means there are millions of amazing functions all happening. Like some incredible coincidence within your body and outside your body. That means you can hear. Cool huh?! While I was sitting, waiting for the birds, a squirrel came and it’s the first one I’ve ever seen in this Forest. In fact, I didn’t see it very well because I don’t have my contact lenses. But I’ve heard it, chattering. I think it’s still up from the tree not far from here. It seems so silent and so still. That’s a woodpecker. Here in the Forest, it is cold and there is moisture dripping from the trees. Outside in the field, it is a blazing hot, bright, sunny, day. The difference is striking. The Forest feels protective. Here come some Jays I think it’s Jays. The field feels exposed and vulnerable. And that is exactly what is like for the soil. In the Forest it is protected, nurtured by the cycling. In the field it is dry and exposed to the sun. It is a field where hay is taken each year so beautiful wild flowers come. But they are taken away each year. I'm back in the Forest later on the same day. It’s been really hot all day. But in the Forest, there is still a coolness that rises from the Earth that it is damper than anywhere else. Outside in the field, the soil has been exposed all day to the hot sun and any Life that is there would have buried down as deeply as it can. Here in the Forest, the birds are quiet. Left to its own devices, Nature returns to Forest. The brambles and other prickly bushes are the first pioneers to take hold of the field and protect the Earth with their sharp prickles. Here comes a breeze. The sharp prickles enable young trees to start to grow protected. And as they grow they eventually shade out the prickly forerunners and the new Forest is born. In the Forest there are many layers of Life. The trees are the most obvious. But even amongst the trees, there are tall trees. Like a cherry is really tall. Or a smaller tree, the hazelnuts are much smaller. And then there are the vines that climb the ivy. And the creep, again the ivy. There are the low bushes and herbs. In the Forest here there’s Dog’s Mercury. There are ferns, butcher’s-broom. And then there are other deep-rooted plants. The wild boar here, I’ve noticed that they eat the roots of Lords and Ladies which is a poisonous plant, but they get the root and eat it. So, there are all these layers interacting together growing close and around each other in this magnificent wealth of diversity. This is the true Wisdom of Nature. And she moves towards the state, always. And the same Wisdom is the blood in our veins, it is the breath coming in and out of our bodies. It is the natural Wisdom within us that will lead us to the most abundant and diverse version of our own lives when we listen to our Hearts, to our inner Wisdom, to the soft and subtle urgings that can sometimes be hard to hear. When we live in such a world of go, go, go. To lie down and relax and let your mind wonder is one of the best ways to discover the thoughts of where your next steps could be. When we relax, and just feel the wonderful functions going on in our bodies, it is like stepping out in the bright glare of the sun in a bare field, into the protection of the cool Forest where the true richness of our deep Nature can be felt and understood.
