Capernaum, the highest Grossing Lebanese Film, also the most critically acclaimed movie talks about a Young boy's struggle in the Modern day Lebanon. The Movie is based on a True incident where he sued his parents for "Child Neglect" Although we assumed it to be a Children's movie but it really isn't. Having a Lead actor as a Child doesn't make it a Children's movie but going by the theme we thought this movie has something for adults more than a Child and we consider this to be an important film.  Capernaum is Streaming on Amazon Prime and please watch the film before listening to our Podcast. Iranian films are known to take a simple idea and get that out to be a beautiful movie. On that line, the White Baloon by Prolific Director Jafar Panahi (This is also his Debut film) takes a simple tale of a girl wanting to buy a fish where the Director explores the inherent nature of human kindness and the trivial (Or is it?) issue of a child wanting to buy a fish.  We had Senthil, who runs the Madras Film Screen Club along with his friends as a guest, where he talks about Iranian cinema in general, Abbas Kiarostami, and many things about this movie.
