Send Us Ash Vs Evil Dead – S02E07 Jamie keeps confusing a very tired Shawn who is suffering from acute “coffee hasn’t kicked in-itis”. Both Jamie and Shawn discuss the most recent episode of Ash Vs the Evil Dead, and they discuss the problems with moments vs narrative. Delusions Recap Ash wakes up from a nightmare and finds himself in an insane asylum. While trying to make sense of his current situation, a man calling himself Doctor Peacock shows up and claims that Ash has been locked up since the murder of his friends at the cabin. He also claims that everything Ash remembers about the Necronomicon was a delusion he made up to deny responsibility for his actions. Ash believes that Dr. Peacock is really Baal in disguise and that Ball is trying to break his spirit and his mojo through an illusion. Within the carefully constructed illusion, Ash sees Ruby, as a nurse, Kelly as a fellow inmate, and Pablo as an orderly. Kelly’s inmate persona causes much pain to herself. Pablo’s orderly is vicious and at one point violently subdues Ash. Ash also contends with a puppet of himself that is supposed to a representation of Ash’s delusion. Baal, as Dr. Peacock, even uses electroshock therapy on Ash and kills Chet for the second time. Nevertheless, Ash tries to withstand the onslaught from his new foe. Ash attempts to fight through the illusions and tries to win back the recognition of the friends that no longer see him for who he is, but he fails time after time. As the illusion continues, Baal gets inside Ash’s head and Ash begins to visibly doubt himself. After seeing Ruby, Pablo and Kelly arrive outside the asylum, Ash appears to be broken and he agrees to follow Baal’s command to destroy the Necronomicon, which means he will have to kill Pablo.

Kelly and Ruby hunt Ruby’s creepy, demon children and they both go all Die Hard meets Xena Warrior Princess on them. During their fight, Ruby reveals that Baal has a way of worming into the heads of people, and she claims she isn’t sure she is strong enough to fight him if he is resurrected. Meanwhile, Ash gets Chet to help him go after his car. Together, Chet and Ash take Chet’s Gremlin and go in hot pursuit of the Delta. The Dark One Recap Ash is still coming to terms with Ruby being the one who wrote the Necronomicon, Kelly is desperately trying to peel the cover of the book from Pablo’s face, and Heather (Samara Weaving) is trying to survive not-Amanda and the villainous intentions of the cabin. Ash is distracted by Not-Amanda as she attacks him with his own chainsaw. Pablo is being taken over by the Evil in the book as he pleads with Kelly to help him. Ruby smacks Kelly across the room. In comedic and spectacular fashion, Ash dispatches not-Amanda. In the aftermath, Ash sees that Ruby and Pablo are gone, but the door to the cellar is open. Ash prepares his weapons (and hair dye/shoe polish) to brave the basement. After Kelly persuades Ash to let her come to fight in the basement, the Evil hits the house like a freight train knocking Ash into the basement, and locking the door behind him. Ash falls and seems to go back into time to the night he read from the book. Ruby is waiting for him and offers him a deal/way out. She claims she wants to rule to Evil to maintain a balance between good and evil. Ash turns her down before returning to his fall down the basement steps. In the basement, Ash sees a ghost/demon child who disappears, but Pablo’s screaming draws Ash’s attention to a backroom. Meanwhile, Kelly tries to open the cellar door, and the cabin starts screwing with her and Heather. Heather wants to get out of dodge, but Kelly is unwilling to give up. Listen to all they have to day about Bound in Flesh. Bound in Flesh Recap Episode nine opened with an old gag, but one that this series would have not felt complete without. Pablo and Kelly had to decide which Ash was the real Ash. With both of them saying idiotic stuff the task was difficult until the real Ash suggested killing them both so, “the other guy is dead and I don’t have to deal with any of this shit anymore.” Kelly knew that Ash only cares about Ash, which he confirms later, and kills that Ash that did not suggest killing both of them. As the crew were making plans to chop up evil Ash and Amanda , before they become deadites and as Ash laments his failed chance with Amanda, the hikers from episode eight show back up. I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming a mile away. They explain that they got lost and want to stay the night in the cabin. Ash, Pablo, and Kelly decide that Ash will stay and do the dirty work while Pablo and Kelly lead the hikers out of the woods to the closest town. This is because Ash doesn’t want the to become possessed and take a trip to Killadephia, Chokelahoma, or Dieami. Alone Ash begins the task of dismembering his evil self and Amanda. During this fun-filled task blood makes it’s way to the book and brings it to life. It talks to Ash and tries to convince him that he should use it. The book makes a pretty strong case telling Ash that he is not special without the book. He put the book in an old fridge to shut it up. This is when he discovered that Amanda’s body was gone, obviously she became a deadite. Meanwhile out in the woods Pablo and Kelly are bit a jumpy while they were leading the hikers to “safety.” They kill a racoon by accident and while being lectur

While Ash utters muted profanities through his gag, the Brujo plans an exorcism that could render Ash unable to have pleasure from the waist down or perhaps just requires some bloodletting. Pablo freaks out about his job running errands and not-Kelly tells him they need to relax. She claims Pablo should get high with her when she finds Ash’s weed. Pablo can’t believe she wants to get high while the Brujo is working, but doesn’t tell her no. Meanwhile, Amanda is having a difficult time with using Ruby’s GPS-hand. Ruby explains why Amanda is freaking out in a weird, almost seductive way. They might be the worst trackers in history. Eventually the hand literally points them in the right direction and they are off. Pablo returns to find that not-Kelly has turned the shotgun into a giant bong and has changed her clothes. She tries to seduce Pablo into taking a hit as she secretly loads the shotgun to kill him. Pablo reveals his feelings to her and she placates him. Nothing is working for the Brujo and Ash is getting rather pissed. He finally uses his mouth to remove the gag in time to warn the Brujo and they both hear the shotgun go off. Ash and the Brujo find Pablo fending off not-Kelly, and Team Ash are able to get not-Kelly tied up so they can begin the exorcism. Nothing seems to work. Pablo goes outside and has a heart-to-heart with the Brujo. Not-Kelly pretends Kelly is back and begs Ash to kill her. She slips and Ash realizes not-Kelly is lying. Pablo offers him

They both loved Brujo the fourth epsidoe of Ash vs. Evil Dead. Jamie also tells all you ever ever wanted to know about Ayahuasca. Bujo Recap Ruby shows up in the nick of time to save Amanda from the possessed bookstore owner. Not only does Ruby tell Amanda that Ash is responsible for all the Evil running about, but she also states that he killed her parents (in the original Evil Dead cabin) and she’s been on his trail ever since. It is clear that Ruby knows about Ash’s history (more or less), and she also has a keepsake, one that will undoubtedly cause Ash problems later on. Amanda and Ruby team-up to track Ash down in a move that is either extremely misguided, or one that illustrates that Ruby is not on the side of angels. Ash, Pablo, and Kelly are traveling to see the Brujo (Hemky Madera)when Evil attacks. Ash’s failing attempt to use nitrous in his Delta proves inconsequential; nevertheless, the trio make it onto the Brujo’s land and the enchantments at the gate allow them entry while keeping the encroaching Evil storm out. Kelly is still feeling ill from her encounter at the bookstore, and the symptoms appear to be worsening. The Brujo is expecting Pablo, and after introductions are made, he leads Ash to “test” him. Pablo decides to build Ash a new hand while it is revealed that the demon in the bookstore wasn’t banished by the book and instead has worked its way into Kelly’s mind. Possessed Kelly takes Pablo out. Meanwhile, the Brujo sends Ash on the greatest acid trip in television history, in an effort to unlock Ash’s hidden potential. Ash is on the verge of having a peaceful moment when not-Kelly enters the room and tells the Brujo that Pablo was hurt. He tells Kelly to watch Ash while he is gone, allowing not-Kelly to work its way into Ash’s bad trip. Ash takes control of his bad trip, but in the real world he is choking

Send Us Ash vs Evil Dead S01E03 – Books From Beyond Ash and crew try to have the book translated to catastrophics results that spark much debate between Shawn and Jamie. They don’t agree on anything this episode. Listen to find out what they might agree on if anything at all. Books From Beyond Reacp Ruby arrives at the Maxwell farm, looking like she’s ready to kick ass and take names. She examines the graves outside and Kelly’s father – now possessed – reaches up and grabs her wrist. Ruby grabs the Deadite and impales him on one of the makeshift crosses Ash made. She asks if Ash had the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. The Deadite refuses to answer, so Ruby takes a ceremonial dagger out and uses it on the Deadite until it gives up the information. Ash, Kelly, and Pablo arrive at Books From Beyond and Ash warns that Lionel Hawkins (guest star Kelson Henderson), the owner, is a bit…off. Ash is sure Lionel can translate the book. Ash defends being a “alone wolf” to Kelly and Pablo, but comes across as someone who has just tried to convince himself that it is true. Ash goes inside the story and rings the counter bell. Lionel comes out from the back and followed by Amanda Fisher. She thanks Lionel for his help and says that she’ll be in touch, but she thinks she recognizes Ash. He notices her too, in pretty much the only way that Ash notices women, but soon he’s back to business when she leaves. He shows the Necronomicon to Lionel who examines it like it is a beautiful piece of art. Outside, Amanda calls her police contact, Lee, and begs him to send her the sketch of Ash. It comes through a minute later. Lionel opens the book and the lights flicker. Ruby senses the book opening while driving and speeds up to catch up to it. The Evil speeds through the forest having sensed the opening of the book. In the car, Kelly tells Pablo that he’s like the little brother she never had which doesn’t sit well with him. Amanda gets out of her car with her gun a

Send Us Ash vs Evil Dead – S01E01 – El Hefe Jamie and Shawn react to the Evil Dead movie series making it’s debut on the Starz Network. Ash is back baby and they have a lot to say. El Hefe Recap Ash has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead until a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind and Ash becomes mankind’s only hope. Older, but not necessarily wiser, Ash is hiding out in a trailer park and has essentially given up his heroic ways. He embraces growing old gracefully with the use of girdle, the right amount of cologne, and his trademark charm. Even though Ash is living on the down low, he still insists on hitting bars and looking for desperate women that will throw him some pity sex in exchange for free drinks and lies about heroic deeds that led to the loss of Ash’s hand. When Ash starts hallucinating the return of deadites in the middle of an uncomfortable romantic bathroom romp, he is aware the the Evil may have returned. And it is all his fault. While drunk and high one night, Ash had dusted off the old Necronomicon Ex-Mortis and recited some passages to impress a girl. The moment of realization can be encaptured in the single word Ash utters, “Fuuuuuuuuuck.” While Ash deals with his mistake, Sheriff Deputy Amanda Fisher and her partner check out a disturbance call. The disturbance happens to be the young woman who was with Ash boozing it up and reciting passages from a book best kept under lock and key. The young woman becomes a deadite and soon Amanda has to kill her and her possessed partner. The next morning, Ash plans on skipping town and seeing a rare bookstore owner about reversing the mistake he made. Packing up to leave his trailer park, he suddenly sees his elderly neighbor Vivian and hallucinates her as a Deadite giving him another warning. Needing cash for his escape, Ash heads to work to get his paycheck and blow off work. His boss, Mr. Roper, has no intention of letting As
