Episode 7, Laodicean Church, Series "Revelation Expectations"
Church of Laodicea, Episode 7, Series: Revelation Expectations Welcome to Episode 7 in our series Revelation Expectations. We are your hosts, Apostle Charles Wright and Stephanie Wright. Thank you for joining us on our journey through the last book of the Bible, The Revelation of Jesus Christ. Today, we conclude our study of the seven churches with the Church of Laodicea in Revelation Chapter 3, verses 14-22. As a reminder, we have covered the churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, and Philadelphia in Episodes one through six.  We encourage you to listen to this series’ first podcast or YouTube presentation to establish a foundation for past and future episodes. Revelation reveals Jesus’ love and mercy to us and the unsaved. He prolongs his return because God does not want any to be lost. If you do not know him, now would be a good time to invite Jesus into your heart as Savior and Lord.  We should remember that the Spirit of these seven churches is in the earth today. We should examine ourselves and not focus only on these historical churches but reflect on our own lives and the words in Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it, for the time is at hand.” Remember, Jesus addresses the seven churches. We see His words all in "red letter" in some Bibles. Then later, we are told in the chapters following what is to come. The warning of the wrath of God. But the wrath of God is not for those who know Jesus as Savior and Lord.  Okay, it’s time to go to the last of our seven churches, Laodicea.  If you want to contact us or comment on this podcast, please visit our website at cgmissions.com/podcast where all episodes are available by category in series format. Episode 4, Revelation Expectations, The Church of Thyatira
Welcome to Episode 4 in our series "Revelation Expectations."   Thank you for joining us. This is Apostle Charles Wright, and this is Stephanie Wright. We are on a journey through the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the last book in the Bible. Today, we conclude Chapter 2 of Revelation with the Church of Thyatira, verses 18 through 29. We want to encourage you to listen to this series' first podcast or YouTube presentation to establish a good foundation for future episodes. Revelation is a beautiful book about Jesus, His mercy to us, and the unsaved. He prolongs his return because God does not want any to be lost. If you do not know Him, now would be a good time to invite Jesus into your heart as your Savior and Lord. We remind ourselves that the spirit of these seven churches is in the earth today. We should examine ourselves and not focus on these historical churches (although a historical study is good). But we should reflect on our own lives as pastors, leaders, and church members because Revelation 1:3 tells us, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” And remember, the seven churches are addressed by Jesus (all red letter) before we are told in the later chapters of what is to come, the warning of the wrath of God. "Revelation Expectations" Episode 2, Ephesus
Hello and welcome to Episode 2 in our series "Revelation Expectations." This is Apostle Charles Wright, and this is Stephanie Wright. Thank you for joining us today. We are on a journey through the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the last book in the Bible. We encourage you to listen to the first podcast in this series to establish a good foundation for future episodes. Revelation is a beautiful book about Jesus, His mercy to us, and the unsaved. He prolongs his return because God does not want any to be lost. If you do not know Him, now would be a good time to invite Jesus into your heart as your Savior and Lord. Today, we will start our journey into the seven churches beginning with Chapter 2 in Revelation. Chapters 2 and 3 are all "red letter," meaning these are the words of Jesus as He tells the Apostle John to take his message to the "angel" of each church. These seven churches are first listed in Chapter 1, verse 11: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. But remember the message is also to us for Revelation Chapter 1 verse 3, says: 3 Blessed is he that reads and hears the words of this prophecy, and keeps those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Revelation Expectations, Episode 1, Chapter 1
Welcome to "CGM Podcast : In the Heart of God," and our new series for 2023 : Revelation  Expectations Apostle Charles G. Wright and Dr. Stephanie Wright, Esq., are your hosts for this podcast. We were compelled to share with our podcast listeners what we learned after completing a study of the Book of Revelation with our Bible study group last year. This is a beautiful book about Jesus, His mercy on us, and unsaved people. He prolongs His return because God does not want anyone to be lost. Portions of this book are scary, but not for those who know Jesus and have accepted Him into their lives. If you do not know Him, now would be a good time to ask Him into your heart and receive Him as your Savior and Lord. I learned many things that inspired me to want others to know about the Book of Revelation and the expectations it holds. Some things we will discuss are the difference between Antichrist, the beast and the false prophet ; the whore of Babylon, who is not what you think; that people will sin even when Satan has been locked up for 1000 years; that we will not have one drop of blood on our white garments when we go into battle with Jesus; and there is so much more. So, come along with us on this journey through Revelation Expectations.
