Part Dos pops with a beer review showcasing a creation from Art History Brewing in Geneva, IL, ‘Bauhaus’ (5.2% ABV ), very crisp and drinkable German-style Pilsner with Tettnang hops; the Bums discuss why Chinese sanctions are en vogue, in the wake of Tik Tok’s blatant privacy violations, et al.; the utter collapse of former rich guy Alex Murdaugh who is guilty as fuck for killing his wife, asshole kid (who killed his friend’s girlfriend), and who quite possibly did the same for his loyal house keeper — rightfully gets life; January 6, Fox, FOIA are discussed; and in other “WTF News”, Mexican Cartels are apparently now issuing apologies (yes, really); and close with a bon voyage to 1970s TV show character Tony Baretta, aka Robert Blake who recently passed, aged 89.  All of this grandeur and a little static (thanks for your patience)!  Get some! B.O.M. - Episode 0057 - Five Six Three
The first cut of Season 2 Episode 0057 starts with a Bums style 5-6-3 double-play; NBA playoff chatter ensues; Celts looking better than expected; Skip Bayless S.A.B.O.Ds and doesn’t even hold a close second to his brother Rick; MLB talk includes a Cincy Reds Christmas miracle in May; Former MLBer Matt Harvey gets a pittance 60-game hiatus for his role in distributing opioids to teammates—including occasionally providing deceased former pitcher Tyler Skaggs with oxycodone pills (queue the Law and Order track); the Bums think they have the Pale Hose Woes pinned down, while Paddy gives up the Pale Hose Shows until Indy Day; the tragic open letter story of Tarik Cohen is memorialized (pack some kleenex); and the Delaware State women’s Lacrosse team runs into the Klan on the road. The second cut begins with another world-famous (all continents represented except AustralAsia) beer review, as the Bums go back to basics with a taste test of Old Irving Brewing’s latest Double Dry Hop IPA, Aglow (ABV 5.25%) — a crisp and crushable summer beer; prepared or not the Bums deliver another fan requests by providing POVs on the Depp vs. Heard defamation suit (lose/lose); Eddie has a Madonna shaped stone in his shoe (she really needs to go away); America launches the most ‘Merican soft drink in the history of ‘Merican soft drinks; former N.C. state rep Madison “Serial Sexual Predator and Serially Stupid” Cawthorn is wheeled out of office; and Paddy shares a collection of surprisingly tasty Turkish candies as he drops another I Did Not Know That (IDNKT) installment on the history of our upcoming Memorial Day holiday.   All this, a bag of Turkish candy, and much more.   Recorded on May 19th, 2022 at B.O.M.’s global headquarters, the Eagle’s Nest, in Chicago, IL USA.
