1984 was quite a shocking year. Although it did not birth the dystopian regime we might have feared, it did give us the PG-13 rating. Why? Well, largely because of a little movie called Gremlins.

In 1978, NOTHING was as big as STAR WARS, and this TV special had it all! With all of the actors returning to play their characters, what could possible go wrong? Well... a lot as it turns out.

Moving into Christmas month, we kick things off with Santa Claus! A film full of wonderment and fantasy! And also TONS of nightmare fuel.

Arguably one of Schwarzenegger's most intelligent satirical films, or his biggest sell out role- and when it comes to Arnold, that is REALLY saying something. Whether you love this "Christmas" movie or hate it, we can all agree that Turbo-man doll is garbage!

We're back and ready to take another Schwarzenegger movie. Over this month we've had so many interesting Arnold moments, but this week we took a look at a career defining role. James Cameron managed to take a crazy story about time traveling Cyborgs and turn it into an 80's classic. So let's watch The Terminator, but first guuurl let me get my hairspray.

Commando is a heartwarming tale of father-daughter bonding and murder. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays John Matrix, an ex-special forces soldier who is trying to find his kidnapped daughter Phoebe. There is plenty of action in this movie to excite the audience. Also, there is a lot of action. So let's watch Commando, but don't bother my friend, he's dead tired.

Welcome back to Buds Watching Duds! This week we decided to break the ice by watching Batman and Robin. This fourth installment of the Burton/Schumacher Batman saga takes us through the escapades of not one, but six comic book characters. Can Schumacher pull off combining this many people? Dust off your old board game pile because our first ever request episode featured the 1985 comedy-mystery Clue. We have an obvious bias towards Tim Curry due to our love for Rocky Horror Picture Show, but it was hard not to love this movie. It's quirky and charming, but most of all hilarious. The one thing we learned is that communism was definitely just a red herring.

What is this? No, seriously... I don't know what it is I just watched. Was it a movie? Was it a home movie? So many questions; how did this get made? Why did this get made? Sometimes people call The Room the Citizen Kane of bad movies. If that's the case, than this is the Godfather of bad movies. This week, because I guess we are masochistic, we experienced Things.

In 1960 master director Alfred Hitchcock gave the world a thriller that would go on to be ranked as one of the best movies ever made. It influenced countless suspense and horror movies for decades afterward. Along with other classics such as Vertigo and Rear Window, it is one the most celebrated Hitchcock films. Oh, and then in 1998, for some reason, Universal decided to do a shot for shot remake of Psycho.

From the director of literally nothing else comes Mom, the tale of a mother and her dark secret. This is a story of sunglasses, murder, scruffy voices, and "werewolves". Join us on this no holds barred thrill ride through the night. Watch in shock and terror as this sweet mother feeds upon the flesh of the innocent. Don't forget your silver bullet, rather, your wooden stake, or was it a crucifix, or garlic, or pepper spray? Well whatever it is, grab it and let's do your mom- I mean, watch Mom!

Junior is a sensitive and dramatic depiction of the miracle of life. Together Danny Devito, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emma Thompson bring us a compelling portrait of a man's struggle to bring a new life into this world. Arnold puts down his machine gun, Danny puts down his penguin suit, and the result is simply is magical.

Get your estrogen ready, it's Mommy Movie Month! To every parent that has ever wondered,"what is going on in that little brain of yours" it's apparently Bruce Willis. I guess his fame from Die Hard hadn't sunk into his agent's head yet. But In a world so desperately seeking mediocrity, this film is okay.

Hey it's Batman, and he's back from somewhere? Micheal Keaton "returns" to his role in this strange and very dark sequel to the 1989 film Batman. Though much more of a character film than a Batman movie, we'd rather swim in Schreck's toxic waste than endure the Schumacher treatment. Also one minor note here, equal rights: WHOOT!

This week, here's a new spin on the DIY vigilante: Kick-Ass! Director Matthew Vaughn gives us another comic book adaption. We think Kick-Ass is different though, and we hope you do too. Even if you don't like it, at least no one is a quarter pump chump.

Everyone loves a superhero movie, but not everyone loves Blankman; so we decided to check it out. After all it's a Damon Wayans' parody, how could you go wrong? By the way, make sure you bring an extra pair of pants... you'll thank me later.

Break out your barbeques because it's time for Spawn. We're kicking off our superheroes month, but still loving our bad-asses from hell. If these movies have taught us anything, it's that chains, leather, and flames are too cool.

Our final ghost related movie is the most bad ass of all bad ass hero movies: Ghost Rider. Join us as we watch Nick Cage and his flaming skull fight it out with some villains from WB shows. Today we learned that some legends, no matter how incoherent, apparently are true.
