Data: A Force Multiplier for Healthcare Quality
Healthcare quality is all about providing the best care possible for patients. In such a clinical, people-driven role why does data matter? In this episode our special guest Moustafa Hussein Mohamed of Abu Dhabi's SEHA (the UAE's largest healthcare network) shares his real-world experiences that explain not why data matters, but why it is essential to improving healthcare quality.  As a manager of Clinical Quality and Patient Safety at SEHA, Moustafa discusses how to convey to other clinicians and decision-makers the story that sits behind the data.  This data-driven, collaborative strategy unlocks better 1-on-1 patient care which ultimately equates to entire populations of improved lives.Moustafa also discusses data's unlock on two more force multipliers that have immense power in any industry: accountability and executive leadership support. Moustafa also asked to dedicate this recording to his mother, and he wrote the following which we publish in support of our friend and client: "I dedicate this to my dear mother's soul. I am grateful for all the credit and success that I achieved.  Thanks to you and thanks to your guidance and instructions after the blessing of God. You have always been my source of inspiration and refuge. I will do my best to make you always proud of me. Thank you mom, I will really miss you.Until we meet again. I love you."
