BBPOD Episode 5 w/ Maui Brewing and Bib & Tucker
We had a great time sampling Maui Brewing's Bikini Blond Ale and Coconut Hiwa Porter. They are both very refreshing beers and play well with the summer heat. The bourbon Bib&Tucker was very interesting due to its bad reviews and yet still being stunningly smooth.

BBPOD Episode 4 @ Sibling Revelry Brewing w/ Brewmaster Pete
We had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with Pete from Sibling Revelry Brewing in Westlake, Ohio. They are a new brewery that opened in 2016 and have a great line up of beers already. My favorite is the Lavender Whit. Right now they have Swing State (a dry hopped pale ale) that is available and is perfect for the summer here in Cleveland. They have a tap room and are open six days a week. I suggest anyone in the area or even passing though stop in and check them out. Even to grab a growler to take home and enjoy. Pete is doing some great things with the flavor profiles of his signature beers!

BBPOD Episode 3 w/ Pirate Stout from Santiam Brewing
This beer was an absolute pleasure to drink. It starts off with a the fantastic aroma of a candy bar being swirled in a glass of rum. This beer is sweet but not in the sugary sense of the word. It does not leave a sugar coating on in mouth and the balanced bitterness helps level out the sweetness. The wonderful rum front and back notes add an extra level to the flavor. The roasted barely and rich malts are balanced well with the coconut flavor.

BBPOD Episode 2
This is a fantastic beer! It is so refreshing to experience a beer that has a great yeast and hop balance. This is how people used to drink beer because they needed to. I am so happy to have had the chance to enjoy this beer. When you pour the last few drops of a beer onto the side of a glass and can see the left over yeast film you know that you are enjoying an ancient form of nutrition. I am very glad that I took a chance on this bottle and my regret is that I did not order more. This has been a unique opportunity to enjoy a flavor profile from another country of this magnitude!
