I trust you had a good week. Today on BotROCK with Pastor Murphy, I will be sharing with you on some simple but important steps you need to take in other to receive your healing from God. Remember, Last week I emphasized that it is God’s utmost desire to heal you now, because of His love and compassion for you. However even though God is reaching out by offering you healing, you will need to receive it by faith. Sicknesses is a very frustrating thing to handle especially now in the current economic situation. When households are finding it difficult to make ends meet, the additional burden of sickness becomes unbearable.  The unfortunate thing is that you can’t afford to keep sickness on hold like many other expenses, so it eats up the limited resources that a household has to live by. This is why God is very eager to heal people especially in this season in other to give some relief to the situations they are facing. Your Faith is crucial to receiving your healing God’s best for you is that you get healed and not have to spend the limited money you have on treatments, so He is offering healing to you today. But you have to receive this healing by faith and that is not difficult at all. I will share with you today on how to receive your healing using some lessons I learnt from the woman with the issue of blood. I believe if you take the steps that the woman took, you will definitely receive your healing from God. Remember, Jesus was not aware of that healing. He only noticed that someone has drawn power from Him without His permission. And in response Jesus told her “your faith has made you whole”. He did not say I or my power has made you whole, but He said woman, your faith has made you well. Before I go into the steps of faith she took, let me give you a background of her story. This woman had been terribly sick for 12 years. I want you to picture that: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… to 12 years. That is a very long time. If you are sick for that long it is enough for you to have given up

One thing I hate with all my heart is sickness, be it a mild headache or cancer. It is obvious sickness is from the devil. I have seen sickness render an average well to do middle class family poor because of the millions they spent on hospital bills. Not only does sickness gulp money from you, it also renders you unproductive in such a way that you can’t even make money no matter how much you need it or desire to make it. It reminds me of what Jesus said in John 10. He said the thief comes not except to steal, kill or destroy. That is exactly what sickness does and that’s how I know that it is from the devil. It is sad when I hear people attribute their sickness to come from God. On the contrary Jesus said “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly or to the fullest. It is my opinion that every medical invention on this earth was a product of God’s love for humanity In my relationship with God I have come to understand that my hatred for sickness is nothing compared to God’s hatred for sickness. The reason is this, it is very difficult for God to stand and watch a person who He created and who He loves so much suffer from sickness. It is my opinion that every medical invention on this earth was a product of God’s love for humanity and in His love He granted men insight to come up with ideas and drugs that will relieve mankind from the deadly diseases that ravages. Trust you had a great night rest and your week was productive. Just want to start today by encouraging you that no matter how things panned out for you this week you can choose not to be offended and give God praise instead; for God has promised to work everything together for your good -both the good and the bad things. The caveat however is that you have to love God and walk according to His purpose for you to experience this. But be rest assured of this fact: God loves you and He is faithful to fulfill all that He has promised you. In Luke 17:1, Jesus made a very profound statement that if taken to heart will cause you to live a fulfilling life. He said that it is impossible for offenses not to come. In other words, it is impossible for you to live in this earth and not be offended by several things such as the government policies, neighbors, close friends, siblings, parents and even your spouse. But how you handle these offenses will determine how far you will go in having a fruitful and enjoyable life. So today on BotROCK with Pastor Murphy we will be discussing how to overcome offenses effectively and even reap the benefits of it. “It is impossible for offenses not to come” –Jesus, Luke 17:1 But before I go into our topic for today let me ask. God is not just able to do this, He is always willing to provide all your needs and even more than your needs. Last week on Building on the ROCK with Pastor Murphy or BotROCK, we started discussing the simple steps that you need to take in other to experience God as your great provider. Today we will be continuing in that line of thought. I believe that God wants you to live a life completely free of worry, especially for your sustenance and wellbeing. Jesus said do not worry saying, what shall I eat, drink or wear. You can also extrapolate that to where shall I live or how shall I move around. As a Christian, you should not worry a bit about these things because your heavenly father who is the great provider knows that you need them.
