Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP 55 This Is Tea End
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Here we are my friends, at the end of all things. This is the final episode of Season 4! It has been a wild ride, and hopefully you all have enjoyed it thus far. That being said, there is still the episode to listen to. The group is currently trying to outrun the jilted lover known as Yig. Shubniggurath is not far behind, but may be distracted. There are only two pillars left to activate to end the apocalypse. Something tells me the giant elder gods duking it out will not appreciate that. Can the group get rid of Yig? Will they make it to all the pillars and activate whatever device before the elder gods destroy them? What happens when they’re activated? Who is breaking all these walls? What song will be parodied at the end of the episode? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. As mentioned, we are playing 5th edition rules, so if you’ve never played this version of the game before, listening to us will give you an idea of how it may be different from previous versions of the game. 5th edition is a great rule set to start playing the game with. Find out if there’s a local game near where you live at comic book or game stores. Hell, buy some books, buy some dice, get some food and drinks and invite your friends over to play with you for completely different experience! A special shout out and thank you to all of our supporters over on Patreon. You help us continue to churn out “quality” episodes. With your continued support we can upgrade our dining room, I mean studio, with better quality microphones, sound proofing and merchandise. Help us achieve our goals and reap the benefits as we will begin producing novellas of the seasons, behind the scenes features and live shows! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP54 The Passion Of The Corbis
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Wow, things have really taken a turn for the worst. Not only is the world ending, but the entire city of New York has erupted into chaos. Oh, and there are giant monsters rampaging around fighting each other or wreaking havoc. The group needed to split up because they forgot what they were supposed to do. One group is running from a big hairy toad monster, the other is dealing with a goat monster that lactates monster juice on you. Speaking of which, Tedward has been infected and is now hoping that Milton will be able to cure him with a blast from the god gun. Will the gun cure his affliction? How do you outrun a toad that is constantly evolving to catch up to you? How can you run with no legs? Why did it have to be snakes? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP53 Miltea & Teaward
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! So, the only job the group really has at this point is to bleed on a few pieces of rock. That being said...they forgot to bleed on the rock that was closest to them. Now, said rock is under a building work of rubble...and under water. Not sure if the group has time to go back, they do the smart thing in the middle of a world ending event: split up. Now the group is half back-tracking and half trudging forward into the depths of madness to try to save this messed up world. Will group A bleed on the first pillar? How are they going to find a pillar under water? What has tentacles but isn’t a lovecraftian monster? What happens when you get that goat lady’s milk on your skin again? Tune in and find out! Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Montana is back from the dead! That’s great on so many levels. Well, not for Montana, but it’s great for everyone else. Now that the group is back in good ol 1932 New York City, chaos reigns supreme! Turns out Father Bierce was Hastur all along. Now New York is embroiled in a giant battle between outer space titans. On top of that, all of the citizens are having it out in a battle to the death. The group just now needs to bleed on some pieces of stone around town and save the world. How hard can it be? What else is lurking in the city? How will the group accomplish their goal? How can they possibly mess it up? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP51 El Guapo Piaso
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Last time we left off, the group was dealing with some sort of giant mutant venus fly trap. The only person who really had a problem was Montana Jackson, who is slowly sliding into the mouth of the monster. He should be totally fine though as he slides towards a garbage disposal esque maw of teeth. The rest of the group tries to dig up a pillar in the hopes that they can run to the next spot in time, before more monsters come to eat them. In doing so, they finally discover who has been showing them these different windows in time, and why. Will Montana make it out of the future alive? Who has been sending the group through time? Why show the group these pillars? What does death sound like? Tune in and find out! Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! As I said last week...all of our content for the end of the season was completely corrupted. So...we did the only thing we could do...re-record the whole damn thing! Never fret, I added new dangers this time around and I am pretty damn happy with it. So this time around, the adventurers are still traveling through time. If they can manage to deal with a saber tooth tiger they will head to the future! I’m sure everything is great there. It is? Well then they head even further in the future. I’m sure it’s even better! What does the future hold? Why everything getting higher all of a sudden? What about John Lithgow? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP49 A Godly Error
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! So much for Bradley being dead I guess. Not even the power of death can break the incestual, I mean ancestral bonds between family members. Now that the group has made it to the door in question, the only thing that remains is to make sure the door never opens. Father Bierce said in order to seal the door, they had to draw the elder sign. That’s pretty easy, so what could go wr...oh where did these shiny urns come from? I mean, I get it, put a sign on the door and get out, but these are urns! Not to mention they make the head pain go away when you touch them! Also, they glow when you touch them, so they must be important. What are these urns? Will the party manage to avoid the temptation of breaking them? If they fail, how will they manage to escape the clutches of Cthulu? Do sweet tea and Starcraft mix? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP48 Floopedoop Chunkalunk
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! I guess the group cannot do anything simply. Could they just sail to the island of R’lyeh? Nah, they have to ramp off of Dagon’s head. However, now they don’t have a way back home. Well, I guess they could swim. They seem to have found an old ally once thought dead. He is dead actually, but now they can bring him back. The island is filled with more tentacle monsters because why not. Now, there is a giant door that stands in front of them. Behind that door is Cthulu. Aka, they are fucked. Who do they bring back from the dead? What special powers might he have? Is there anyone more handsome than Tedward? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP47 Sweet Teamotions
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Well, there goes Father Bierce. At least he gave his life for what he loved...children. I mean Tedward. He was like a son to him, obviously. Tedward could not have cared less though. The group seemed as though they were definitely dead, especially since they blew up the church and had it collapse on them. Luckily, it seems there were allies nearby that fished them out of the rubble and got them to a doctor’s care quickly. Now that they are awake, they have new found powers which they will undoubtedly use for their own strange selfish purposes. However, it seems Bradley did not have such a wholesome fate. As a result, the island of R’lyeh has risen. Cthulu is coming. Who saved the group? What are their new powers? What will happen now that R’lyeh has risen? Does life created on a whim have a soul? Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP46 Hounded All The Time
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! What do we have here but a good ol’ fashioned combat episode. Yeah, I know they aren’t the most interesting, but sometimes they have to happen! We do have a mystery as one of our “heroes” has been taken by the cult of C’thulu! The Hounds of Tindalos have showed up to murder the group and in typical Botched fashion, they are not super happy about the difficulty level. Fret not however, as I have the power of editing out the grumpiness that is Phil, so he sounds positively joyful. Why are the hounds so tough? Who got taken? Why won’t Tedward love Father Bierce? What’s on the other side of one of those time portals the hounds use? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP45 Pizza Pied Piper
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Again? They reset the timeline again?! Well, at least when they do that there are no lasting consequences. Now that they have hit the reset button they have to decide what is the best way to proceed. Also, they need to eat a pizza that they received. But wait, didn’t that happen in a different timeline? Time is sort of a big wibbily wobbily ball...Anyways, the group has decided to go with what group b was trying last time: summoning an elder god to fight Cthulu. While I’m sure a kaiju death battle would be entertaining, I feel it could lead to a little collateral damage. Who is going to save Father Bierce now? Why does the group want to summon an elder god? How did these old homeless people live in Japan? What is green, boney and hates time travelers? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP44 Time Keeps On Slippin
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Now that the group has saved Father Bierce and returned him to the church, the group has to decide what to do. They discuss at length where to go next and how to proceed, but they just can’t seem to make up their minds. Half the group decides to try and abduct one of the fish men and torture them into giving them information. The other half acknowledges that Cthulu is most likely coming and decides the only way to beat a giant monster is with another one. So, the plan is to summon one of their own. How does someone capture just one fish monster an insane asylum full of them? What does it take in order to summon a Great Old One? How strong would a jaw have to be to bite a car in half? Tune in and find out! Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP43 Grab N Snatch
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! While the goose, that is currently on the loose, is the design of a patron of ours (Thanks Bean!), I have to say I am thoroughly enjoying the chaos that ensues. It seems Montana Jackson has awoken from his “coma” and is back in “action.” With the element of surprise, hopefully these idiots can overcome the superior forces of the hospital and get the hell out of there. However, even if they make it back to the church, they will somehow have to deal with those pink/purple cylinders drawing in the light. Will the party make it out alive? What are all the abilities of the demonic pendant? What is the deal with this goose? In what ways can the group screw up this rescue mission? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons.  If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP42 A Wild Goose Chase
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Well, a goose showing up and stealing their car keys was certainly unfortunate. However, I’m sure they won’t have too much trouble with Patron made npc though. Once they get that problem solved, they just have to go back, pick up Father Bierce without doing something stupid like...running him over or something. Then they just need to head back to the church without doing something stupid like...driving the car into the bay or something. I’m sure it will all work out though. What is the deal with this damned goose? What do those colorful cylinders in the asylum do? Is time travel possible? Where is that stupid pizza? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP41 Honk If You’re In Trouble
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! I wonder if the group thinks rescuing Father Bierce is worth it? They discovered the asylum was filled with blood thirsty Bators. Those are bunnies with the heads of alligators, in case you were wondering. They also discovered these strange cylinders filled with light that really ruin the day of anything that gets close. Now that they’ve gotten an idea of what to do, the group will try to avoid the fish people and rescue Father Bierce, get the hell out of there, and return to their base. Of course, that is, unless there’s a giant fish monster waiting outside. It’s almost as though this was some sort of trap...What are the group’s super powers again? Why did the fish people take Father Bierce? Will we cripple Jon’s character again? What happens when a Patron wants to annoy the party? Tune in and find out! Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons.  If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP40 Goombas & Gorons
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! It only took an entire episode for the group to realize they completely forgot what they were doing. Fear not, however, as the dumb dicks figured it out! Now the group is on its way to the insane asylum. The city is still in complete chaos, but it doesn’t seem to have impacted the structural integrity of the asylum. Once inside, it is very apparent that things are very different than the last time they visited. Around every corner lies hidden dangers and monstrosities looking to make a meal of the group. Where did the patients go? What are these cultists doing? What is that hippity hoppity chomping noise? Tune in and find out!Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP39 Hit And Dumb
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Well, it seems that Father Bierce has gone missing! Depending on your viewpoint, that would be a good or bad thing. The group though, is exhausted from their fight with the Gashadokuro. They don’t really feel like dealing with all the problems that exhaustion bring with it, so they decide to take a 4 day nap. In a city where evil is constantly gathering their forces to bring about the end of the world, I’m sure that will lead to no problems whatsoever! Oh, I was wrong, the world has gone to hell. There are constant storms, monsters and cultists running around, as well as people running around everywhere screaming. Basically, spring break in Cancun. What is going on? Why are cultists running around? Do these cultists have anything to do with the newspaper articles? Who’s missing again? Tune in and find out. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP38 Crackin Skulls
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Yet again, the group deems it necessary to agitate innocent and unknowing folks. Not only did they clog the toilet with a towel, eavesdrop on their conversations and eat all their food, but they also tried to steal their dog! For not believing a bunch of random psychopaths, the group decided it was best to let the family die. However, they couldn’t let a dog be eaten too! So here we are, giant Japanese murder skeleton vs our...well I wouldn’t call them heroes. On one hand they have a car, lots of magical weapons, magical abilities and a strong refusal to die. On the other hand...it’s a giant magical murder skeleton. What happens if they fire the giant laser gun too many times? How will they manage to defeat the skeleton? What will their rewards be? How much would it suck to have your fingernail removed and unable to ever heal? Tune in and find out!Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you. Botched: A D&D Podcast S4 EP37 Just Bee Yourself
Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! The group make quick work of the Dreamlands. Well, to be fair, they kind of messed it up even worse, but at least their rescue mission was a success! Now that they are done with that, it is time to finally investigate the final mission of Nadir. There seems to be something causing the deaths of locals outside of the city. According to the news, the homes and families are killed by storms, even though there are no other signs of such phenomena. Last week they discovered a giant skeleton footprint, so it seems this will not be so simple. The group heads towards what they believe is the next target. Who is this creature murdering simple country folk? What is the significance of this family they meet? What sort of secrets await in their attic and basement? Why can’t this group seem to make friends? Tune in and find out!Join in on the banter as these dickheads whose understanding of the rules is questionable, and their moral compasses are even more so, stumble through dungeons, traps, monsters, and social intricacies as they attempt to complete a quest for wholly selfish reasons. If you are a veteran dragon slayer from the long long ago of the 1970’s or a newbie who is interested in hearing what this devil worshipping game is all about, Botched: A D&D Podcast is the DnD Podcast for you.
