How to Become a Real Estate Agent | BOSSAgent Podcast
In this episode, Matt and Rich address the question, “How to become a real estate agent?” The real estate industry is the best industry to become independently wealthy fast and easy, compared to other industries! Summary: Pros/What we like:-Help people meet their goals/dreams-Unlimited earning potential -Everyday is different, not sitting in the office all day-Meet interesting people and foster lifelong relationships-See interesting properties-You can choose to work when you want to-You can make as much money as you are willing to work for-No College degree or really any other barrier to entry-Thrill of the hunt/closing deals Cons/What we don’t like:-The client runs your schedule sometimes (can be tough on family or your own personal free time)-Weekend hours are usually required -Week Nights too… Basically when everyone else is off work-No “Boss” Unless a Team member-It is extremely easy to fail/no accountability  Actual steps-Make sure you will actually enjoy it: Intern/shadow-Depends on location-Usually the best place to start is your local Association-Some States don’t require you to join the association-Take the online class-Study for the test (important!)-Pay the fees The Best First Step?-Work as an assistant or try to join a team-Be a licensed showing agent-Shadow an established agent -Watch videos and read books!  Thanks for listening!
