Golam Maula interview 07 April 2022
I'm talking to author Golam Maula on Book Talk Radio Club. Golam is the author of two books (so far!), the first being Darkness turns to Dawn turns to Daylight. However, today we are talking about his most recently published novel - A Dangerous Mind: Consciousness Belongs to God. They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. And they can be right… ‘John Locke was an ordinary guy until he was left for dead at the bottom of a stagnant canal. Put in an induced coma, doctors worked to save his life using revolutionary medical therapies. And as John finally wakes to a room full of people he no longer recognises, it soon becomes apparent things have changed. Or, at least, John’s mind has changed. And it starts to develop in incredible and terrifying ways’. Find out more and listen in at https://www.booktalkradio.info/golam-maula

Jennifer Geiger Interview 23 March 2022
I'm talking to author Jennifer Geiger on Book Talk Radio Club. Born in Kansas, Jennifer now lives in Blacklick, Ohio with Jim, her husband of over thirty years. She is an active member of her church where she is involved in several ministries. As a child, Jennifer was known as a storyteller, a habit she continued after marrying and having children of her own. She claims there’s something intriguing about inter-blending words and watch as they paint a picture in the minds of the listener. She was often challenged to write out her stories so others could enjoy. This is what she did in her first book, “Witness,” a story about life with Jesus as told through the eyes of the disciple He loved. Accompanying “Witness,” she completed a companion workbook along with a video that could be used in an eight-session in-depth Bible study. Her second book Patmos picks up where “Witness” left off and puts the reader into John’s shoes as he is banished to the isle of the same name. Owen Jones Interview 09 March 2022
I'm talking to author Owen Jones on Book Talk Radio Club. Losing My Addiction is a memoir, told through the eyes of someone who lived with alcoholism for decades but eventually cut free the addiction for a better life. This book offers new perspectives and questions some of the fundamental beliefs we have about ourselves and how we’re travelling through life. The gentle understanding and optimism that flows through the book will give you the confidence and evidence that addiction doesn’t need to be the master of your life and you too can break free. Whether you are thinking about giving up or indeed you’d never even consider giving up alcohol, this book is highly recommended as a companion during the tough moments and a reminder that there are far happier times on the other side. John Stedman Interview 09 December 2021
I'm talking to author John Stedman on Book Talk Radio Club. John is the author of The Language Secret: How to Learn a Foreign Language: Or. How to Speak 10 Languages. Badly. John speaks 10 languages, but he never went to university – to the disappointment and disgust of his begowned and mortar-board-wearing masters at the highly-traditional Chatham House Grammar School. Like most English schoolchildren he never learned the grammar of his own language. In fact, he was not absolutely sure what grammar was. Even though he was at a grammar school. Strange. John somehow ended up teaching English in Paris to graduates of the École nationale d’administration, where many presidents of France were educated. Fifteen years spent as a linguist and lexicographer in various African countries produced a fascination with the phenomenon of multilingualism. Now living in Germany, John and his wife, Sharon, specialise in teaching accelerated language-learning techniques. You can listen in and find out more at https://www.booktalkradio.info/john-stedman

I'm talking to author Anita Allen on Book Talk Radio Club. Anita was born in what was called Rhodesia and is now Zimbabwe. At the age of thirty-two Anita moved to the UK. Unfortunately, she got involved in what can only be described as a tumultuous relationship with entirely the wrong man that lasted fourteen years. Anita says "I walked into that relationship a confident young woman and came out the other side an emotional wreck." Her life finally changed when she rescued an Aussie Shepherd puppy who she named Finley. Caring for that sick, fragile and scared puppy brought her to her senses. She never realised what an incredible bond you can build with a dog. She says Finley, saved her soul and she owes him a deep debt of gratitude. Cathy Mayes Interview 27 Oct 2021
I'm talking to Cathy Mayes. Cathy is the author of Out of the Quill Box: Came Secrets of a family I had never known. This is the wonderful story of her search to learn about her past, her heritage, and her culture. Cathy, brought up in a ‘comfortable’ home in the 1950s, was, at the age of seven, suddenly told that she had been adopted as a baby and assured by her mum that the other mother who had given birth to her loved her, but had made the difficult decision that she would be better off being brought up by others. Having been told this at the age of seven Cathy seemed to take it in her stride, as children do, however, her early teens, she developed a heart condition and doctors felt information on her genetic background would be of help.
