Ep 19: Prayer of the Rollerboys/Solarbabies
We're still living the dystopian lifestyle. This week we're doing it on roller skates. How many of these movies did Hollywood think was necessary? Jason Patric throws on the roller skates for 'Solarbabies' and Corey Haim dons the roller blades for 'Prayer of the Rollerboys'. They're both bizarre and not great. This week we also talk about some of our favorite podcasts, books and tv shows. And finally if you're interested in a more in depth look at 'Solarbabies' aka What was Mel Brooks thinking? you can listen to the podcast 'How Did This Get Made' Ep. 135 http://rss.earwolf.com/how-did-this-get-made

Ep 18: They Live
So things in our country are a little wacky right now. But it's not the first time, so this week we watch John Carpenter's 'They Live'. It was made to point out the problems with Ronald Reagan's administration, but is still relevant today. 'They Live' stars "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Keith David.

Ep 17: Krull
We continue to enjoy 'Sword and Sorcery' month by watching one of Steve's favorite movies of all time; 'Krull'. Don't expect any objectivity from Steve on this episode. Sarah does all she can to keep the show on the rails.

Ep 14: Def By Temptation

Episode 13: Dracula 2000
It's the year 2000 and Dracula is back! This time, Gerard Butler is the tortured lord of the vampires. He's dark, he's sexy, he's from the bible? A wacky update on Bram Stoker's masterpiece, Dracula 2000 features a score of up and coming actors, battling or falling prey to Dracula. Johnny Lee Miller, Omar Epps, Danny Masterson, Jeri Ryan, Vitamin C (anybody under 40 remember her?), Shane West and Nathan Fillion (!?!) all are featured. Lots of fun, but kind of dumb. Make sure you check out www.b-moviebonanza.com to see Gerard Butler's amazing audition for the part of Dracula!

Episode 12: Love At First Bite (1979)
Dracula is back and on the loose in New York City, zaniness ensues. George Hamilton (Zorro the Gay Blade, Extra Crispy Colonel) is the Count, searching for his lost love. Lots of 1970's hijinks and bad jokes. A perfect kick off to Vampire Month.

Episode 11: Back to School (The Children)
What could be so scary about elementary school? Well, a bus full of kids drives through a toxic cloud, you'll see what can be so scary in 'The Children'. Bloodless zombies with black fingernails seek out those they love, or whomever gets in the way and microwaves them. It's fun and trashy in the best b-movie way. Thank goodness for Troma for keeping this gem alive.

Episode 10: Back to School (Battle Royale)
Middle School is hell for everyone, especially for the characters in 2000's 'Battle Royale.' Japan has suffered some serious problems and the only way out is to send a class of middle schoolers to a deserted island to kill each other off. Not an overreaction at all. There's blood, there's mayhem, there's melodrama. It's the perfect middle school movie.

Episode 9: Back to School (The Dorm that Dripped Blood)
We've graduated high school and we're on to college. But we've gotten a bad dorm assignment. It's 'The Dorm that Dripped Blood', a slasher straight from the golden age of slashers. It stars a bunch of nobodies with the exception of a young Daphne Zuniga in her first role. Get ready for lots of red herrings, limited locations, strange characters and a possibly three armed killer.

Episode 8: Back to School (The Substitute 1996)
We're still in school and this week there's a substitute. This week we watch the 1996 action-classroom madness that is 'The Substitute'. Tom Berenger brings his square jaw and fists to class to avenge his girlfriend and to clean up a dirty school. Along the way he faces off against Ernie Hudson as the corrupt principal and Marc Anthony as the evil gang leader.

Episode 7: Back to School (Grease 2)
It's that time of year, kids are going back to school. To celebrate every parent's favorite time of year, we're going to feature movies about going back to school. We start things off with the disastrous sequel to 'Grease', 1982's 'Grease 2'. This is a childhood favorite for the Bonanza and we love it. We do understand it's not everybody's favorite however. It was rushed, didn't have a finished script, went through a plethora of cast options and went up against brutal competition at the box office. We are going to tell you why you need to give it a chance and why it's probably better than 'Grease'.

BMB Special 1: We Love T.V. (The Strain)
We like to do special things for our growing fanbase. Today we bring you episode 1 of our special episode We Love T.V. This week we jump into 'The Strain' now starting it's third season. It features vampires with bitey tongues, infection worms, nazis, silver swords, melodrama and bad decisions. It's pretty awesome.

Episode 6: Camp Clusterfuck (Sleepaway Camp 1983)
Here it is, our last installment of Camp Clusterfuck. We decided to go out with a bang, watching, reviewing and spoiling the 1983 classic 'Sleepaway Camp'. There's some much wrong with this movie it's hard to know where to begin. We delve into the weird goings on at Camp Arawak. How many different laws are broken in this camp, not even counting the murders? Some or part of the nonsense includes: pedophilic cooks, statutory rape, bullies, kids cursing and assault on children. Some much stuff to discuss this week… If you want to listen to The Faculty of Horror’s more academic take on ‘Sleepaway Camp’ you can find episode 18 here: http://www.facultyofhorror.com/feed/podcast/ If you’re interested in catching up with ‘The Strain’ you can catch seasons 1 & 2 on Hulu. www.hulu.com/thestrain Watch ‘The Strain’ Sunday nights at 10pm on FX

Episode 5: Camp Clusterfuck (Space Camp 1986)
This week we're taking a quick break from the B-Movie horror world and giving some love to a B-Movie Family Adventure. Camping on Earth is great and all, but we wanted to know what camp was like in space and after watching 'SpaceCamp' we still don't know. An amazing example of 1980's filmmaking with an ensemble cast of young Hollywood including: Lea Thompson, Kelly Preston, Joaquin Phoenix (as Leaf Phoenix) , Tate Donovan and the grown ups, Tom Skerritt and Kate Capshaw. Steve and Sarah try to make sense out of this bizarre attempt to make N.A.S.A. cool.

Episode 4: Camp Clusterfuck (The Burning 1981)
This week we turn our attention to another campfire tale. This time it's another version of the "Cropsey" myth. We started with 'Madman' last week and this week we look at 'The Burning'. 'The Burning' beat 'Madman' out of the gate, so it got more direct use out of the urban legend. But what is "Cropsey" and why did it have such a hold on campers and kids of the New York/New Jersey region. And why has 'The Burning' become the forgotten slasher. We'll try to answer as many of these questions as we can this week. As well as make fun of stuff.

Episode 3: Camp Clusterfuck (Madman 1982)
We're going to camp, Camp Clusterf@$k! This week we watch the slasher camp classic, 'Madman' from 1982.

Episode 2: Beach Blanket Bloodbath (Beach Edition)
We've escaped the ocean to the safety of the beach, but are we really safe? Judging by these movies, the answer is NO!!! 'Blood Beach' (1981) and it's kinda-sorta remake 'The Sand' (2015) are our lucky movies this week. Will we survive watching these two new additions to the Bonanza? Tune in to find out...

Episode 1: Beach Blanket Bloodbath (Ocean Edition)
We go into the ocean to review 'Jaws' and its imitators: 'Great White', 'Mako: The Jaws of Death' and 'Orca'.
