Ep. 9: Fall Sports Postponements

The Pac-12 has postponed all sports until 2021 due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, meaning no USC football this fall for the first time since 1913. To discuss the medical issues behind why conferences are choosing not to play, Nara welcomes back former Trojans water polo player, Dr. Shamus Carr of the University of Maryland School of Medicine (and soon to be NIH/NCI). They break down the different responses among the Power 5 conferences, whether you can play 2 football seasons in 2021, and what sports could be played safely. Dr. Carr also shows solidarity with the #WeAreUnited movement. If you Bleav in Everything USC, you need to listen to this podcast and Fight On!
