The Black Shoe Diaries Wrestlemania 31 Podcast Extravaganza
Don't worry, we have no idea why we're doing this, either. This Sunday is Wrestlemania 31, the biggest event in fake sports of the year. Because we're a bunch of children, we decided to do a podcast dedicate to WWE's premier event. Adam Collyer, Bill DiFilippo, BSD alum Dan Vecellio and CoachingSearch.com Managing Editor/contributor to The Only Colors (the network's Michigan State blog) Chris Vannini got together to talk about this year's card. If you have nothing better to do, we highly recommend listening as the guys get way too giddy about Brock Lesnar.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.15: Welp, The Season's Over
Finally, it is over. The 2014-15 Penn State Nittany Lions men's basketball team's season is over. The squad ended the year with an 18-16 mark, and went out on about as high of a note as it could have, with two wins in the Big Ten Tournament and a Cinderella run to the quarterfinals. On this week's episode of the BSD Basketbro show, Bill, Chad and Dan -- who is making his first appearance on the pod -- will tie up what will hopefully be a lovely bow on this year, they'll reminisce on their favorite aspects of this squad and they will pay homage to the careers of the four Nittany Lions who will leave the program after this season: Ross Travis, Kevin Montminy, Alan Wisniewski, and of course, D.J. Newbill.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.14: The Podcast Mailbag
After last week's State of Penn State hoops podcast, a lot of people had questions. We decided that -- since Penn State's two games this week to close out the regular season are against Ohio State and Minnesota and the Nittany Lions have played both of those teams this year -- we would do a quick Iowa recap then dive into the bounty of questions that our beautiful readers have asked. Bill, Eric and Chad talk everything from their thoughts on another potential CBI birth to some burning questions regarding 2015-16.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.13: The State of Penn State Hoops
This week sucked. This week in Penn State basketball really, really sucked. The Nittany Lions lost a heartbreaking game against Wisconsin, then the squad got completely smoked by Northwestern, it blew. Fortunately, after the NU loss, there was a silver lining: AD Sandy Barbour gave a public endorsement of Pat Chambers going forward. On this week's episode of the BSD Basketbro Show, Bill, Eric and Chad welcome special guest Tim Beidel, and the guys discuss the state of Penn State hoops. Is Pat Chambers the man for the job? How can the AD support the squad? What the hell went wrong this year? All of this and more on the best damn Penn State basketball podcast on the web.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.12: Ohio State and Maryland
Penn State basketball happened this week, folks. It happened big time. First, the Nittany Lions had the hell beaten out of them by Ohio State. Then, they lost against Maryland thanks to garbarge officiating. Then Pat Chambers decided to tell a bunch of Big Ten refs that they should go straight to hell. Hooray! To break down the week of Penn State hoops action, Bill and Chad are joined by former SLAM Magazine Editor-in-chief and Penn State alumnus Ryan Jones. The guys talk about everything. It's fun sometimes, but it's really sad most of the time. Penn State Basketball truly never stops.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.11: Maryland, Nebraska and Tim Frazier
A lot of stuff happened to Penn State basketball this week, and it was mostly good! Sure, the Nittany Lions kicked off its recent stretch of games losing to Maryland in College Park, but the squad was able to bounce back with an ugly and well-deserved win over Nebraska. However, the biggest news of the week came when former PSU guard Tim Frazier got called up to the Philadelphia 76ers and became the school's first alumnus to make the NBA since Calvin Booth in 2009. Bill and Chad will discuss everything of and related to Penn State hoops this week, and are joined by Yahoo's Sam Cooper. The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.9: Michigan State and Rutgers
Penn State hoops finally won a conference game this week! The Nittany Lions went 1-1 during its most recent stretch of games, as they lost in controversial fashion to Michigan State before taking down Rutgers at home. Actually, that's a bit weak. Penn State tied Rutgers to a tree and beat it over and over with a 9 Iron. Yeah, that's better. On this episode of the BSD Basketbro Show, Bill, Chad and Tim discuss the week in PSU hoops. The guys hit on everything from the games to Brandon Taylor's injury to whether or not Penn State is held to a lower standard by Big Ten refs. You should listen. It's a good time.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.8: Michigan, Indiana and Purdue
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH. Penn State basketball went out and Penn State basketball'd all over the place over the last two weeks. We're gonna try to cheer you up with the latest episode of the BSD Basketbro Show, in which Bill DiFilippo and Chad Markulics are joined by Onward State's Noel Purcell. The guys talk about the losses, preview the next week and try to figure out what the hell is wrong with Pat Chambers' squad. There may be some Flavor Flav talk in there too. Ugh. This is sad.

The good news is that the BSD Basketbro Show is back. The really good news is that we're joined this week by PennLive basketball reporter and all-around fantastic dude Stephen Pianovich, which you should really be following on Twitter immediately. The bad news is that Bill DiFilippo, Chad Markulics and the Piano man have to discuss Penn State basketball's last two games against Wisconsin and Rutgers. They were both losses. The latter was infinitely more painful than the former. At least the team has won 12 games this year! Sit back, relax as much as you possibly can, and please, enjoy this week's episode of the best damn Penn State shootyhoops podcast on the internet.

The BSD Basketbro Show! Episode 1.6: Duquesne And George Washington
Another week, another episode of the BSD Basketbro Show! This week, the guys are confused, because after narrowly beating Duquesne (or, rather, duqane) and beating up George Washington, Penn State hoops may actually be pretty good. Bill DiFilippo, Eric Gibson and Chad Markulics discuss the two games from this past week, preview the upcoming games to finish the non-conference slate against Drexel and Dartmouth, talk about some of the major players from the past few games -- we're looking at you, Geno Thorpe and Jordan Dickerson -- and try to answer a simple question: at 10-1 with votes in both the AP and Coaches polls, is Penn State basketball good? There's also the general silliness that comes from the podcast, but you already knew that. The guys discuss the team's wins over Virginia Tech and Marshall, preview next week's games against Duquesne and George Washington, and answer a burning question that was posed by the CBS Sports Network announce team: if Penn State makes it through the rest of the non-conference schedule without a loss, will Pat Chambers' squad be ranked? The basketbros are back after another undefeated week for Penn State shootyhoops. Tim Aydin, Bill DiFilippo and Eric Gibson are ready to discuss both of Pat Chambers' squad's wins last week: at home against Akron and on the road against Bucknell. Can the guys be even more complementary of D.J. Newbill than usual? Was the monster game Ross Travis had against Bucknell a sign of things to come? Since all three were in attendance, was there anything during the game against Bucknell that stood out that you normally wouldn't notice on TV? After losing their opening game to Charlotte, the Nittany Lions won thrillers over Cornell and USC. Is a 2-1 record in the Tournament acceptable? What did we learn -- other than D.J. Newbill is amazing at basketball? Was the fact that PSU won two really close games a cause for celebration or a cause for concern? Bill DiFilippo, Eric Gibson and Chad Markulics will discuss on this week's episode of the best damn Penn State basketball podcast on the Internet.
