A note to cause and page members on Facebook:
If you read the last update, this is a continuation and shows some of the video diaries I kept and only shared, until now, with other birth mothers. (It's the 1st video in list, Im referring too) I knew it would be important to have it documented someday to help someone, somewhere, somehow! I processed the grief in the "right way" (for the first time in my life) and now can help others do the same. The stats for birth moms post adoption are not pretty, suicide and drug abuse top the charts... but not anymore! It's kinda embarrassing, crying of course, but I've been through so much that I finally don't care what others think. And that is the biggest blessing! So don't feel bad for me please! God did so much for me.
Why you should join and/or donate to this mission:
Well, It is a Birth Mother founded and Birth Mother managed Non-Profit! Finally an UNBIASED place to come for help and support of ALL kinds. We have no agenda, we are birth mothers... but we don't push adoption (by any means!) we tell the truth and think everyone's situation is different. One of us was raped and knows how important it is to not be alone when pregnant and scared, (vids on that too) We promote life but not through legislation or by telling you what to do... we promote it through love and information and respect for the woman and child. We do so much. We are aware of all the good and honest adoption non-profits out there, but we really see a great need for a "one of are kind" place in the adoption community. Many of us were taken advantage of by adoption agencies and saw the adoptive parents also being taken advantage of.
Join us and be a part of this. See where your money goes and put your opinion in on where it should go too. We have saved many lives and helped many women and AP's with .001% of the amount of funds given to adoption agencies (such as Edna Gladney) Imagine what we could do with 500 dollars! No one who manages the mission will EvER be paid by donations. This is not for us, but for those who are going through the same thing we did, and like us, are wishing for another birth mother to talk to! If you care about the child, how can you not care about her mother? It's also for
