His comedy primarily focuses on culture, politics, and his experience as a first-generation immigrant. Kendra Dawsey is a stand-up comedian and writer based in Boston. Their razor sharp wit and engaging delivery has earned them spots on comedy festivals, colleges and stages nationwide. They’ve been featured on both Sirius XM and on Kevin Hart’s “Lyft Comics” series on the LOL Network. Kendra’s writing and performing has been featured in Revolutionary Spaces’ online talk show “Tea Party Tonight!” and on their weekly twitch show, “Left Nite with Kendra Dawsey.” Kendra's comedy combines abrasive criticism with whimsical punch lines for a hysterical time. Whether they’re making folks in queer feminist spaces lose their minds or zinging it to drunken New England townies, you're going to want to see their unique style of comedy in person.
