Self Care in uncertain times (Part 1)

As we continue to celebrate Women's HERstory Month, I decided to focus on the importance of Self Care in these uncertain times. This will be an extended 2 part talk with mental health clinicians of color. Today's show is Part 1 of 2 covering a topic near and dear to my heart: Support for our mental health and well being. We know that this pandemic has disproportionately impacted women. There is no doubt, for such a time as this, assessing where we are, what support we need and also celebrating our resiliency, is important. Today I am joined by black women who are experts in this area. They offer tips, resources and support while sharing their experiences and how we can individually and collectively destigmatize mental health.  Khadijah Tillman is a licensed clinical social worker.
