How Your Personal Power Can Unlock Endless Possibilities
Personal Power is our ability to adapt, effectively, to the change in our life. It's our ability to persist in the face of challenges, maintain steady self-belief, and with confidence, meet each new day ready to realise our full potential. Erin Kyna: Own Your Sexuality to Find Unimagined Joy and Power
A woman's sexuality has always been shrouded in guilt and secrecy. Due to years of conditioning, women have relinquished control over their own bodies, and it’s not just society but a lot of women as well who perpetuate this practice of avoidance around sexual discussion, who believe that we shouldn’t be open about our sex life, we shouldn’t actively pursue pleasure, and independently create guidelines for our own sexual behaviour. In this episode, my guest, Erin Kyna and I seek to change that narrative and introduce our listeners to the incredible transformation that happens when a woman takes back ownership of her sexuality and gives herself permission to actively design a life where no societal norms or dysfunctional beliefs hold her back from seeking pleasure, health, and wellbeing.  We hope that this conversation will remind our female listeners that in every way, shape, and form, your body belongs to you. It is an instrument that is meant to serve you, and it is not a vessel of pain, shame, or guilt. It’s only job should not be to endure but to be the receptacle of pleasure that almost goes beyond the physical. When you experience sexual pleasure that has no shame, no conditions, no restrictions attached to it, you experience freedom in it’s most basic form. My guest, Erin Kyna is a trauma informed sexuality healer, coach, teacher and poet, liberating women to experience their pleasure potential in all areas of life including sex. She has been on this journey to empowerment for the last ten years, travelling the world, and guiding other women along their path as she follows hers. Erin is the host of the Sex and Healing Podcast, proudly transforming listener’s lives with her wisdom and stories, in over 50 countries around the world. Chloé Valdary: Responding to Gender Discrimination with Confidence and Compassion
Discrimination has been a constant challenge that has obstructed growth all over the world and yet, the basis of discrimination, the prejudice that drives it in and of itself is never reason enough to dismiss or denigrate someone. This episode is my attempt to understand what drives discrimination and how women can respond to gender discrimination at work in a way that's compassionate, intelligent, and doesn't jeopardise their growth.  Chloe Valdary, the creator of The Theory of Enchantment, shares ideas and techniques that have the power to transform how we see ourselves and then how we in turn interpret the world around us, including how we respond to moments of injustice and discriminatory actions. After spending a year as a Bartley fellow at the Wall Street Journal, Chloé Valdary developed The Theory of Enchantment, an innovative framework for compassionate antiracism that combines social emotional learning (SEL), character development, and interpersonal growth as tools for leadership development in the boardroom and beyond. Chloé has trained around the world. Her clients have included high school and college students, government agencies, business teams, + many more. She has also lectured in universities across America, and her work has been covered in Psychology Today Magazine and her writings have appeared in the New York Times and the Wall St Journal. Create Authentic And Impactful Brands With Neo Khama
In this latest episode, award-winning, multi-disciplinary designer Neo Khama shares how we can create impactful brands that are authentic to our character, life story, and our mission.  Neo Khama works with boutique wellness, lifestyle and beauty entrepreneurs to create thoughtful and compelling brands. She is passionate about bringing an entrepreneur’s creative vision to reality, and empowering founders to create a brand they love and are proud of. Having run a successful design business for the last 10 years she understands the roll-coaster ride that most entrepreneurs go through, having followed her gut to leave a fashion marketing role in London to move to Shanghai and pursue a freelance design career, despite her lack of graphic design training. Her previous marketing roles ensure that Neo learnt the importance of story-telling and being able to reach an audience with effective communication. In today’s episode, we discuss-  What elements should lead the way as we go about cultivating our brand persona? What role does personal clarity play in the process?  We always have to take into consideration - the market trends and what appeals to the target audience, how do we do that without smothering our authenticity?  Spinning our stories or making it appealing from a marketing perspective in terms of design, how do we balance that in a way so that we still show up as we are and connect with the audience without self-distortion? What goes into building a successful brand?  Managing negativity especially when it's aimed at our work Resources mentioned during the episode- Neo's Website - https://neokhama.com/ The Brand Stylist - https://www.thebrand-stylist.com/ Raw Milk Podcast by Beth Kirby - https://tunein.com/radio/Raw-Milk---The-Creative-Business-Podcast-about-social-media-marketing-branding-blogging-p1138192/ Follow me on Instagram - https://www.kratimehra.com/mehra_krati For more, visit - https://www.kratimehra.com
