EP 024 | Eric Tansey | Disadvantages of Freedom
On this week’s show we discuss the disadvantages of freedom with our guest, Eric Tansey. As Americans we have the freedom to do almost anything we want - but where do we draw the line? -  Do we draw the line when parents no longer raise their kids and allow them to be raised by the system?-  Do we draw the line when we allow transgender woman to dominate women’s sports in the name of equality? - Do we draw the line before or after victimization turns into the next major form of bullying? The disadvantages that come with our freedom could be the downside of our society. With all the freedoms we have, we don’t have the freedom to shame someone or be a man and show your masculinity or you are considered to be toxic. Listen to the end to hear our thoughts on shaming people in this world.Visit this episode’s sponsor: Vincero Watches https://vincerocollective.com    Promo Code: BEYOND to save some serious money!

EP 018 | Whats Your Turning Point | John 'Doc' Rowley
We live in the days of instant gratification and highly manicured lives. The life portrayed by those we look up to, and aspire to be like, is viewed through a rose-colored lens. This leads to feelings of inadequacy, insignificance and insecurities.    I was no different. I had insecurities that I brought into my marriage, my military career, and I eventually found myself at a fork in the road. Do I continue down the destructive path I was on? Or do I make some changes and reinvent my life?    I found myself speeding towards an 18-wheeler on my Harley Davidson when I decided to make a change. I decided I didn't want my life to end like that, so I made some serious changes to every aspect of my life. This was my turning point.

After years of excessive partying andy was met with a health diagnosis that completely changed his outlook on life. After deciding to change his life and to finish his degree, Andy stepped outside of his comfort zone, forcing himself to sit in the front of each class to overcome his anxiety of large crowds. "Transition is hard -- even with a rock solid tribe. I don't know how many veterans would admit to having a barrel in their mouth at some point or another in those first few months and years after getting out, but I'm sure it's more than you would expect. You don't have to force yourself to conform to fit in -- instead find something that gives your purpose and a sense of accomplishment and pursue that. "
