BenchTalk Episode 26: Twenty-Twenty Won
Welcome to EPISODE 26!!! It’s the end of 2021… literally the end of the year. I wrote a letter to her and I’d love for you to listen in on this very vulnerable and very personal account of my 2021. It all started with fertilizing my lawn at 7am one morning this year. I have a feeling that this will resonate with you at various levels. Heck… you may even see yourself in my shoes. Either way, there’s a message. There’s always a message. My intent is to inspire, not motivate and I’m explaining exactly why. So let’s say GOODBYE to 2021 and hello to this new relationship we’re starting in 2022 (the relationship with you and YOU.) BenchTalk Episode 25: It Really Is About The Journey
Another raw and semi-cut (lol) conversation with one of the most awesome women I have come to know. Chantal Ingerson is the Sr. Managing Partner at InGarzon Media Group. Chantal and I met years back as Senior Program Managers at an organization where we were both working as consultants. Chantal is an amazing woman who has an awesome career path that I wanted to bring to you in this episode. As with all the women I present on this podcast, Chantal’s professional journey has not been a clean cut, clear path, or straight line. She has managed to reinvent herself and make life work for her at any given point. When we reconnected, she blew me away with where she is today… Starting over but not starting over -- reinventing and bringing out her best and utilizing all of the many years of experience and skills to embark on a new venture as an entrepreneur in her marketing agency, InGarzon Media Group. Listen in as we talk about the reinvention of yourself and becoming more authentic and much more yourself in life, in corporate, and finding satisfaction. Join in on this raw conversation with lots of laugh, love, insights, inspiration, and beautiful gems dropped by Chantal! ‘Being fearful is not as painful as regret’ - Chantal Ingerson NSFW - Explicit language is used. **************** Chantal’s Contact information: Chantal Ingerson- Sr. Managing Partner, InGarzon Media Group. https://www.ingarzon.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ingerson ************************************** Get the Free Training here: : https://www.jackiemitchellcareerconsulting.com/workshop To join our FREE Facebook Group, High Achieving Professional Women Grounded in Success go here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1717342711729312 Join the group for access to all of our free resources to help you in your career.

BenchTalk Episode 23: Satisfaction Fulfillment & Change
We're talking about FEELINGS. YES FEELINGS!! I'm going to get in your FEELINGS because way too often YOU don't get into your feelings enough to help answer the questions you want answered. That may sound odd coming from someone with my background and it may go against common beliefs on HOW to make decisions for yourself. We neglect FEELINGS way too much. Interestingly though, some of the most successful people I know, myself included, go with their 'gut feelings' when making a decision. Why? Because we trust ourselves. We look externally for answers to the questions we have. It's not until qualified people point out the answer you've always had but didn't want to believe or didn't trust. Join me in this episode for an EMOTIONAL EXERCISE to help you get CLARITY to answers to the questions you're asking yourself about SATISFACTION, FULFILLMENT, and CHANGE. ✔ BRING PAPER AND A PEN ****** And if you enjoyed this exercise and want more guidance on how to have a fulfilling career, please sign up for my FREE TRAINING here: https://www.jackiemitchellcareerconsulting.com/workshop

I'm challenging you to dig a little deeper to transform your mindset because it all starts with you. Before you can set out to DO any thing, you need to become a certain type of person. BenchTalk Episode 20: Stop Overcomplicating Your Growth
In this episode of BenchTalk, I'm pulling the veil back on how WE overcomplicate going after the things we want. Going after what we want can be scary and challenging at times. But we don't make it any easier when we count ourselves out, self sabotage, and listen to the self doubt and chatter in our heads. In this episode, I'm breaking down the top 9 ways we screw things up for ourselves. Then, after I give you a moment to side eye me because I'm exposing your secrets, I'm giving you the top 5 ways to get out of your own way. Hey, my goal is to help you be successful. BUT how are you going to change behavior if you haven't identified what the behavior is that's keeping you swimming in your pool of fear and doubt? So grab a pen and paper, listen in, take notes, and then start going after what you really want! Start living the life you really want. This is a raw and unfiltered (a little adult language) conversation. NSFW. BenchTalk Episode 19: STOP Telling Us to Cope!!!
Let’s talk about ‘Surviving Toxic Work Environments’.... Or NOT. Let’s talk about how we should STOP telling women to ‘Survive’ in or ‘Cope’ with these situations. In this Episode of BenchTalk, I am all over this topic and not holding a bit back because I’m passionate about helping women succeed. AND I’m not holding anything back because I want to share what I’ve seen, what I’ve personally experienced, and what so many of YOU have shared with me. It’s time we do something different. It’s time we move in a different way. It’s time we change the narrative and it’s time we change the way we speak to Women and what we advise them to do. Oh and yes...the first 5 minutes is about me being extremely vulnerable about why this March this is significant for me. I was on the fence about whether to keep this bit in or not… I kept it in there, unfiltered because maybe it will inspire someone out there. Speaking of unfiltered…. This is a raw and unfiltered (a little adult language) conversation and with my non-traditional views about how we show up in the workplace and how the workplace serves us. NSFW. BenchTalk Episode 16 Part 2: No New You Remix
Episode 16 - Part 2: Remix - No New You! In this episode, I'm talking about my evolution on the practice of setting New Year's resolutions. I go deep into how I've evolved my thinking from resolutions to intention setting and how this works with goals and getting to where you want to be. Did you set a resolution this year? Have you 'fallen off' the path? Do you feel like you're not on the right track? Have you given up already? Don't set yourself up for failure. Reframe your 'resolution.' Set INTENTIONS rather than RESOLUTION. Don't limit your opportunities... we're about success around here! Listen in as I give some quick tips on how to set intentions and why it may help you get to your destination of a 'new you'. I am evolving from last year's (2019's) No New You episode... This is the REMIX. Listen in and let me explain how you too can get off that hampster wheel and start 2020 in the direction you want without all the pressure and all the action and all the heavy stuff! BenchTalk Ep11: What's the Cost to Stay
Join me in Episode 11: ‘What’s the Cost to Stay?’ with my special guest, Brittany Jackson. She is a certified executive coach and the owner of Metamorphosis Coaching Solutions LLC. Brittany and I became acquainted after my #TipTuesday video where I addressed a similar topic and I loved the opportunity to partner with another coach to share the message that you do not have to be “lethally loyal” to a situation that is not supporting or serving you. Brittany, with her 10 years of leadership experience supporting diverse groups in both corporate and community based organizations, knows from her own experience and from her clients how hard it can be to pull yourself out of a job that is no longer fitting your personality or career goals. Together we share with you how to differentiate between job challenges where you need to work harder and ones where you just need to free yourself and move on. Throughout the podcast, Brittany and I challenge listeners to be proactive in positioning themselves and their finances so they don’t feel stuck in any unhealthy work environment they may find themselves in.
