Different Realities
We all live in our own world.  Yes must of us share the basic concepts that have been ingrained into us by our culture and our experiences in this life, but all of us have our own unique view of the world in which we live.  Although most agree on what makes the world work, what the natural order of things are, there are some of us with a different perspective.  There are some of us who can see through the veil, through the illusion.  This podcast tackles some tough concepts on how we view the world. What our definition of real is. And ultimately how to have a happier life. The challenge is how do we overcome our programming, our views, our fears to see a better life.  We both want a better human existence we just have two different approaches and this podcast highlights some of them.  If you like what you hear please share if you would like to communicate with us email us both @ bewithJandJ@gmail.com

I am Human, I have Fear
Fear.  Our culture is filled with fear.  We are bombarded with things on a daily basis that are designed to keep us in fear.  We are so used to this element in our lives that we come to expect it.  We accept it.  This podcast examines fear and whether it is natural, necessary, and good.  Our views on the subject are quite different and an excellent conversation ensues.  We hope you enjoy.

How Do You See Yourself?
If you boil down our world view, we base everything, our entire perspective on the concept of separatibility of the individual.  We have based our whole world view on the fact that we are all separate pieces of a pie.  To the extreme our thoughts on the world, on the individual gets boiled down things like Darwin’s theory of survival of the fittest.  That we are all here to experience, to grow, to live our lives, and the natural order of things is that the stronger members of our society are supposed to succeed.  And in so doing our society will inherently be better for it. But is this how it really is?  Are we really all separate?  Have you noticed when you look at someone they usually will "feel" your gaze and return it.  Have you walked into a room and felt the people in it and their mood?  We are not separate, we are deeply connected and are all here to contribute are part to this existence.   When you can truly identify that you are not an individual but an aspect of the whole.  When you can truly realize that you are but one drop of water in the Ocean that is the Universe.  That your neighbor, like you, is also a member of this collective that we call the universe. Everything will change.  There will be no violence, there will be no war, there will be no poverty.  When you realize that I am you and you are me, all of these things drop away, because what rational being would hurt themselves, what rational being would allow their own suffering to continue.

How Do You See the World?
We all see the world through a lens.  The data we receive from our eyes is run through a series of filters in our mind and is processed into information we can understand.  These filters are developed throughout our lives.  Often we will see things in our lives that don’t make sense that are not clear to us.  We then go through the process of trying different filters that we have at our disposal in an effort to make things clear.  Our filters come from our culture, our religions, our experiences, our society. We use our filters to see the world in way that makes sense.  To be sure, we all are viewing the world through a set of filters (lenses).  We all are viewing the world in a way that we in our limited understanding can make sense of it.  Most of the people you are surrounded by on a daily basis see the world in a similar way as you do, and thus see the world as right or wrong, good or bad, or simply as “the way the world works” as you do.   The majority of the human race is literally walking around with a veil over their eyes.  Recent work in quantum physics is only the tip of the iceberg in a dramatic change in our race’s world view.  As more and more people become aware of the implications of quantum mechanics findings in relation to entanglement experiments and the effects of the observer (i.e. all of us) on the world, our view of the world that is will necessarily be turned on its head. This episode delves into our differences in how we see the world and how our perspective is important to us, but may not match others around us. Understanding that our views are filtered may be helpful to understand how others can see things differently then us, and still be right.

Perfect Sin
To live a perfect life is unattainable (or so we have been told).  Those of the christian faith have been raised with the concept that only Jesus was perfect and it is his perfection that allows us in our imperfection to get to heaven.  We have been given a set of rules to help guide us through our life, through our experience.  The problem the human race has it that one set of rules will invariably be different then another set of rules.  Those differences is what allows judgement to come into our society. And when we judge others we create tension, we create conflict, we create a system in which one person is better then the next, where one culture is better, where one government is better, where one.... fill in the blank. We have set ourselves up for failure.  We are trying to reach a pedestal that we have been told is unreachable, but if we can just realize that where we are right now is where we are supposed to be.  I believe God is perfect.  I believe God created this world.  I believe God created us.  If God created us and God is perfect then why aren't we?  Who decides? I say you do.

What is Love?
Love is a topic that has been much discussed throughout history.  We are saturated with the topic in our culture. But yet most people still have a hard time with this area of our life that seems to be central to our happiness.  This podcast is Jesse and Jeremy's initial attempt at defining what they think love is (on multiple levels, dimensions, and frequencies).  Whatever you current definition of love is tonight's episode will almost assuredly make you look at love in a way that differs from societal norms!

Love Revolution
When we typically talk of revolutions we think of military coups.  Violent overthrows of governments.  A dramatic change in order to right the injustices of the system in which we live.  The problem is that these revolutions are superficial in nature.  We tear down one system and replace it with another system using the same framework, the same rules as the last system.  We paint the house, change the decor but the house is the same house that supported the injustices of the past. We need a different type of revolution. We need an internal revolution. We need each of us to make the decision that we no longer agree with the system.  We need each of us to reject the idea that we do not have the power to change the world.  We need each of us to make a new agreement with our society, with our culture.  We need to say I will no longer be bullied by fear.  I will no longer be worried about failure.  We need to say that I refuse to be sucked into negativity.  Instead we need to focus on our own self-worth.  We need to see all of us are equally valuable.  We need to come to the realization that everyone has a journey and it is not our responsibility to tell them how they should go about it.  Above all we need to quit judging ourselves and others and see that when we do we are falling into the trap of the system in which we live.

Worthy of Love
We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal... We have heard this line and others like it professing man's inherent equality with their fellow man.  Is it true?  I believe it is, so why do we subject ourselves to the judgement of our peers, of our faiths, of our society?  This podcast delves into aspects of Love and self-worth and how the structures of our society limit our ability to truly practice what we desire so much.  To love and to be loved is an activity that we as human spend a considerable amount of time doing, but yet we seem to be struggling with getting it right.  This discussion delves into someone of the underlying issues prevalent in our culture that limit our abilities and discusses alternatives that might be useful in achieving Love.

Thou art Worthy
We live in a society that judges. We live in a society that compares one individual to another. We live in a society where the "Survival of the Fittest" is commended. We allow every aspect of our lives to be put in front of a microscope, its value assessed.  More often then not those of us being judged are found wanting.  Those that are judging typically find themselves superior.  This podcast is our initial conversation on our societies propensity for judgement and subsequently our issues with our own self-worth.

Technology and control
As our society advances into the 21st century we are seeing huge leaps in the technology available to us.  The technology we live with on a daily basis was the stuff of science fiction a generation ago.  Our lives are completely unrecognizable to the people who lived 100 years ago.  With that being said, why aren't our lives significantly better? Why are we still working so hard to make ends meet?  This podcast analyzes how the world we live in, the system we live in, isn't designed for the betterment of society.  Human evolution is not the goal of the those that control this system. Spanning slavery and the industrialized revolution to the advent of smart phones, to the layers of control such as our higher education costs, this podcast highlights the system we live in as one that is very good at achieving the goals of those that control. The business of the exploitation of the human race is the goal and business is good.

Introduction to Jesse and Jeremy and their podcast
As we begin our podcast experience focusing on Being, this introductory podcast highlights the who, the what, and the why that spurred our journey into this form of expression.  We are two guys that truly enjoy deep, thoughtful, intellectual and meaningful conversation. Although many of our view are quite similar there is plenty of areas in which we don't necessarily see eye to eye, thus enabling us to explore areas in this life that don't often see the light of day.  Each week we get together to talk about topics ranging from love and self-worth to the mechanisms of control built into our society. Any topic is fair game and over the coming weeks and subsequent conversations we will introduce concepts both familiar and alien to the way you currently think. These conversations, these opinions, these ideas are broadcasting to you free of judgment, free from criticism. Overtime we think you will come to understand that we just want to express our ideas.  If you don't agree with them that's great! If you are doing something different awesome! My belief is that where you are right now is where you are supposed to be.  You are perfect right where you are. Thank you for taking the time to listen to our podcast.  As we move forward you will see that we progress quite rapidly in the quality of our information and our presentation.  If you are patient with us we really believe you will find this podcast one in which you will look forward to listening to each week.   In Love -J
