Highlander: is as good as a film gets in my opinion. Good cast, well directed and a score to die for. But its action scenes rule supreme. PETER DIAMOND is stunt coordinator in the UK and VIC MAGNOTTA is the coordinator in the US. We try to explore a bit more about this movie by talking to another big name that was part of the shoot. 2nd Unit Director ANDY ARMSTRONG who explains how he got the job and what it meant to him.Highlander 2 The Quickening:is a sequel that could have done without being made. The success of the first film begged for a follow up but the script didn't allow for a great deal of fluidity when it came to story. Action is coordinated by ERNIE ORSATTI who brings in stuntmen like TOMMY HUFF to double Lambert and ROCKY TAYLOR to double Connery. A supply vessel is hijacked and old platforms are boobytrapped. Anthony Perkins wants a ransom from the British government, but Roger Moore has other ideas. Rufus Excaliber ffolkes is the man deemed best equipped to handle this particular adventure.Stunt Coordinator is EDDIE STACEY and he brings with him a team who play ffolkes's team. Burt is back and so is his moustache. This time he's under the watchful eye of stunt coordinator GLENN WILDER who provides a fine selection of action in this thriller.Burt is...well, Burt as usual and delivers on the action front as you'd expect.If you haven't seen the film now's your chance. Another excellent example of a spy movie boosted by the Bond movies.James Coburn takes the role of Derek Flint and runs with it over these two movies.Stunt Coordinator is BUZZ HENRY who is also Coburn's  leading double on the pictures. Regarded by many as one of the greatest car chases ever and yet its one of the most dangerous and, in my opinion, ill advised additions to any motion picture.Yes its magnificent on screen, but the chase had moments where the the car being driven by actor Gene Hackman was travelling at high speeds in actual traffic and not stunt drivers as you would expect.BILL HICKMAN was the coordinator and did a great deal of the driving too.Lets explore the chase and find out a bit more shall we?https://linktr.ee/behindthestunts

A wonderful action movie about a husband and wife who are both spies but haven't told each other.First class action from 2nd Unit Director SIMON CRANE who also coordinates with MIC RODGERS and TIM TRELLA. Stunt doubles are DAVID LEITCH...yes the same guy who directed Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde and EUNICE HUTHART who is possibly the only stunt coordinator on the UK register who refers to everything in footballing terms.
