Episode 6: Ghoul Summer 2014
It's our favorite time of the year over here at Banshee Jam headquarters, it's our first annual Ghoul Summer spectacular. We're talking about some of the grossest, most depraved movies we're gonna do all year (least time GS2015) First up, A couple decides to open their bedroom to a corpse in Nekromantik (1988). We travel to south korea where a man hunts and brutalizes his wifes killer over and over again in I Saw The Devil (2010). Next, A pregnant widow fights to survive in Inside (2007). And our final movie of the night, a family's vacation comes to a hault when they find themselves held hostage by two maniacs in Funny Games (2007). We've also got some ghoul news, we talk about our favorite ghoulish things, TV chat, anime chat, video game chat and book chat. Episode 3: Ghost!
Hey folks, so after a pretty long hiatus (in podcast time) Episode 3 is done and out. We decided to beef it up by having not 3, not 4 but 6 reviews. We watched one of the most controversial made for tv movies ever, Ghostwatch from 1992. Next we looked at the face that launched a 1,000 remakes with Ring from 1998. Next up we look at the hardships of managing a family in a cursed neighborhood in the Thai horror flick Ladaland from 2011. Part 2 of the show starts off with a nostalgia review of a movie I greatly enjoyed as a child, House on Haunted Hill from 1999. Netflix Instant is a treasure trove of garbage but sometimes theres a diamond in the rough, we watched Haunter from 2013. And finally we hit up the local cineplex to catch the WWE produced (don't let that turn you away) horror film, Occulus from 2014.
