Nicola Lathbury is theMD of Hexagon FM, Recruitment specialists to the Facilities Management sector. Speaker & Chair of Women in FM and Midlands Region for the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM). She is passionate about helping people carve careers to achieve their life goals and equipping companies with the most engaged and talented professional to deliver their business strategies.  With over 15 years recruitment experience and three years operational as an FM, Nicola knows what good looks like, which is why customers in the public and private sector choose to work with her and the Hexagon brand.  Delivering on promises and daring to be different. Nikki used to have lots of hobbies before she adopted her daughter such as sewing, baking, cooking for friends and walking with her cockapoo Ruby. She also spend a lot of time volunteering for the industry, so that takes up her free time. Nikki is also involved with meditation and women’s circles and retreats to recharge. Jeremy has over 25 years of professional experience FM and Hospitality, working both client side and service provider side across the hospitality, utilities, defence, and energy sectors. He started his FM journey back in the early 1990’s and have held various management roles during that time working with companies like Norweb, North West Water, United Utilities and Vertex.  In 2007, Jeremy joined EMCOR UK as a Key Account Director to lead their aerospace and defence business delivering integrated facilities services in highly complex manufacturing, production and R&D environments supporting mission critical products. In 2014 as Operations Director, he led UK Utilities Solutions and transformation services in electrical distribution, water and waste water services, before joining the EMCOR UK Board in 2017. Jeremy is a founder of EMCOR UK’s Key Account Management programme, Lean Learning Academy, and was the lead director for our Collaborative Business Relationship Management strategy, resulting in EMCOR UK becoming one of the first six companies anywhere in the world, and the first FM company to achieve IS044001. Additionally, he supports special interest groups in social value and sustainability, and UK Charity Water Aid. As an Executive Director, Jeremy leads EMCOR UK’s marketing, brand development and customer solutions activities. He is also a part of the management board with the Institute of Collaborative Working (ICW) and am a regular contributor and speaker at industry events.Support the show

Debra Ward is a true entrepreneur having led, started and sold several businesses across three continents, starting out at just 16!  Currently Debra leads and owns Live Love Learn consulting having just finished a chart-topping year with ISS as their Global Head of Transition and Transformation where she added new service lines, locations and significant review to the benefit of the client and company alike. Debra’s entrepreneurial drive has seen her take the helm of several companies including: Camm & Hooper, who were awarded a 25-year lease to run events at the iconic Battersea Power Station representing an £800M value; JLL leading Human Experience across EMEA; Condeco where under her leadership sales rose year on year by 32%; and Macro which in her first year showed improved net results by 62%. In 2007 Debra and her team founded Mitie Client Services which, in only five years, grew to 950 team members nationally delivering a turnover of £25 million. The company was named as one of the best small companies to work for in the Sunday Times Top 100 and received their coveted Special Training award along with Supplier of the year and Best Business Award. In 2019 Debra was named as one of the top 100 Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel & Leisure and Women of Achievement winner by Women in the City 2015, and one of the top 10 most influential Women in her field by RICS 2017.  Using this success as a platform to help women, minority groups and those facing challenges has always been important to Debra. This led to her Co-Chairing Gender Balance for ISS, Elected as Chair for IWFM’s Women in FM, founding Mitie’s WOW (Women of Work) initiative, collaborator for Mace Women and providing mentorship to over 40 young women.   Debra is passionate about giving back and has several philanthropic endeavours including; Refuge UK, The Passage, Macmillan Trust, WaterAid and ActionAid. Rory is the Commercial Director for VINCI Facilities, the £425m Facilities business of VINCI Construction UK, who deliver Facilities Management and Building Solutions work to a range of Public and Private sector clients throughout the UK. Rory has responsibility for the commercial and financial performance of VINCI Facilities along with leading the supply chain strategy for the business. A strong advocate for Sustainability and the importance of ESG Rory is always keen to promote the strategic importance and relevance of Facilities Management within the built environment and has been key in the development of VINCI Facilities responsible business activities and community support. Having started his career in 1987 as a trainee Quantity Surveyor with Taylor Woodrow Construction, Rory progressed his career over the next 20 years across various roles and projects to ultimately become the Commercial Director responsible for all complex residential work within the UK. In 2008, following the acquisition of Taylor Woodrow Construction by VINCI Construction UK, Rory was appointed as the Commercial Director for the newly formed VINCI Facilities brand, a role he has held ever since.  A Fellow of the RICS, Rory is a keen supporter of the Institution and has helped develop a number of guidance notes and case studies within the RICS. Rory has chaired various FM events throughout the years including the 2020 Virtual RICS FM conference and World Workplace in Barcelona in conjunction with IFMA in 2018. Rory was a former member of the RICS World Regional Board for the UK & Ireland and is also the chair of the FM Professional Group. Rory recently chaired the development of RICS guidance on responsible business practice within the real estate sector and is also assisting in the continued development of competencies and routes to chartership for FM professionals.  Rory is now chair of the Member Engagement, Experience and Value working group within the RICS and is helping assist the institution recover from the damage caused from the well-publicised governance issues from 2021.Support the show

Neil Carberry was appointed as Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation in June 2018 having been managing director at the Confederation of British Industry, leading the CBI’s work on the labour market, skills, energy and infrastructure.  In 1999, Neil began his career in recruitment working for executive search firm Fraser Watson before doing a post-graduate degree in Human Resources at the London School of Economics and joining the CBI in 2004. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Fellow of the RSA. He is a member of the council of the conciliation service ACAS and a former member of the Low Pay Commission, which recommends UK minimum wages. A three-time nominee to the SIA staffing100 in Europe, he is also on the board of the World Employment Confederation and a primary academy trust in Oxfordshire. Neil is an RFU qualified rugby coach and is one of the 8000 co-owners who made Heart of Midlothian the UK’s biggest fan-owned football club.Support the show

Antony Law, the Chief Commercial Officer of Churchill Group, is passionate about business, building high performing teams and doing right for the planet. Antony spent his early days in hard services, moving into more bundled and TFM delivery around 2012 before moving to Churchill in 2016.  Antony believes business has a huge part to play in the connecting communities far and wide. Antony has a career that expands 21 years within the Facilities Management industry and has worked in outsourcing giant mitie leading a £120m portfolio in FM, TFM & bundled services. He joined Churchill in 2016 as career choice and opportunity to work with owners. Antony lives with his wife and 2 toddlers in London North West.  Mike Adamson is Chief Executive of the British Red Cross, the country’s leading voluntary crisis response organisation, and part of the worldwide Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Mike is responsible for all of the British Red Cross’ UK and International work. Prior to his current appointment, he held several other senior positions within BRC, including Managing Director of Operations. Mike has also worked as a Director of Commissioning in the NHS and spent five years as Managing Director for Services at another national charity. He began his career as an economist in management consultancy. Mike is currently: • Chair of Voluntary & Community Sector Emergency Partnership • Member of the Foreign Secretary’s Human Rights Advisory Panel • Trustee of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) • Member of CASS External Advisory Panel for Charities Masters Mike also chaired the NCVO review on how charities enable donors to give consent. In June 2021 Mike has been awarded a CBE honour for services to the humanitarian sector and the Red Cross Movement. He lives in Gloucestershire with his wife Lorna and two daughters Eleanor and Sophie. In his spare time he likes to run, cycle and read – he is also a founding member of his local film club. Geoff is an instantly recognisable Leader in the FM industry and particularly known for actively championing the need for effective maintenance strategies, workable designs and driving improved standards of delivery in the built environment.  He has always been involved with numerous industry activities, panels, boards, improvement initiatives and is Chair of CIBSE Facilities Management and founding Chair of the BIM4FM cross industry workgroup. He has over 40 years experience, in private and public sector industries, including the banking sector, critical environments, large property portfolios including NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland, and Transport/Rail Infrastructure with British Rail, Local Authorities including Essex County Council, District /Regional Government and the Education sector UCL, with particular, emphasis in recent years with leading change and business transformation.  He is well known for developing the industry and people wherever he can and continues also with Consultancy to a range of clients. Amongst his many qualifications and awards, he is also the only person in the industry who is a Fellow of CIBSE, RICS and IWFM and is also a member of The Institute of Directors.Support the show
