Debra’s entrepreneurial drive has seen her take the helm of several companies including: Camm & Hooper, who were awarded a 25-year lease to run events at the iconic Battersea Power Station representing an £800M value; JLL leading Human Experience across EMEA; Condeco where under her leadership sales rose year on year by 32%; and Macro which in her first year showed improved net results by 62%. In 2007 Debra and her team founded Mitie Client Services which, in only five years, grew to 950 team members nationally delivering a turnover of £25 million. The company was named as one of the best small companies to work for in the Sunday Times Top 100 and received their coveted Special Training award along with Supplier of the year and Best Business Award. In 2019 Debra was named as one of the top 100 Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel & Leisure and Women of Achievement winner by Women in the City 2015, and one of the top 10 most influential Women in her field by RICS 2017.  Using this success as a platform to help women, minority groups and those facing challenges has always been important to Debra. Rory is the Commercial Director for VINCI Facilities, the £425m Facilities business of VINCI Construction UK, who deliver Facilities Management and Building Solutions work to a range of Public and Private sector clients throughout the UK. Rory has responsibility for the commercial and financial performance of VINCI Facilities along with leading the supply chain strategy for the business. A strong advocate for Sustainability and the importance of ESG Rory is always keen to promote the strategic importance and relevance of Facilities Management within the built environment and has been key in the development of VINCI Facilities responsible business activities and community support. Having started his career in 1987 as a trainee Quantity Surveyor with Taylor Woodrow Construction, Rory progressed his career over the next 20 years across various roles and projects to ultimately become the Commercial Director responsible for all complex residential work within the UK. In 2008, following the acquisition of Taylor Woodrow Construction by VINCI Construction UK, Rory was appointed as the Commercial Director for the newly formed VINCI Facilities brand, a role he has held ever since.  A Fellow of the RICS, Rory is a keen supporter of the Institution and has helped develop a number of guidance notes and case studies within the RICS. Rory has chaired various FM events throughout the years including the 2020 Virtual RICS FM conference and World Workplace in Barcelona in conjunction with IFMA in 2018. Rory was a former member of the RICS World Regional Board for the UK & Ireland and is also the chair of the FM Professional Group. Neil Carberry was appointed as Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation in June 2018 having been managing director at the Confederation of British Industry, leading the CBI’s work on the labour market, skills, energy and infrastructure.  In 1999, Neil began his career in recruitment working for executive search firm Fraser Watson before doing a post-graduate degree in Human Resources at the London School of Economics and joining the CBI in 2004. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Fellow of the RSA. He is a member of the council of the conciliation service ACAS and a former member of the Low Pay Commission, which recommends UK minimum wages. A three-time nominee to the SIA staffing100 in Europe, he is also on the board of the World Employment Confederation and a primary academy trust in Oxfordshire.  Mike Adamson is Chief Executive of the British Red Cross, the country’s leading voluntary crisis response organisation, and part of the worldwide Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Mike is responsible for all of the British Red Cross’ UK and International work. Prior to his current appointment, he held several other senior positions within BRC, including Managing Director of Operations. Mike has also worked as a Director of Commissioning in the NHS and spent five years as Managing Director for Services at another national charity. He began his career as an economist in management consultancy. Mike is currently: • Chair of Voluntary & Community Sector Emergency Partnership • Member of the Foreign Secretary’s Human Rights Advisory Panel • Trustee of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) • Member of CASS External Advisory Panel for Charities Masters Mike also chaired the NCVO review on how charities enable donors to give consent. In June 2021 Mike has been awarded a CBE honour for services to the humanitarian sector and the Red Cross Movement. He lives in Gloucestershire with his wife Lorna and two daughters Eleanor and Sophie. In his spare time he likes to run, cycle and read – he is also a founding member of his local film club. His “What FM’s Do” mindmap has been used by FM organisations, magazines and educational establishments all over the world. Awards include seven from the British Institute of Facilities Management including two for FM Journalism and being named by FM World as one of the 20 FM Pioneers. In 2015 he received the BIFM Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the FM profession.
