I’m fairly surprised I’m getting this out before the new year, but I miss the podcast family and wanted you all to know that things are moving forward. I’m looking at selling my house this coming spring and finding some property to start the Hemp and Medical grow. Here’s hoping that 2022 is a better year for us all and that we turn the covid-corner.What’s going on around here lately? Not a whole lot really. It’s just more of the same around here, looking for a job until I can get growing again and trying to stay afloat. You’d think that’d mean I have a fair amount of time to make more podcasts, and while you may technically be right with the “time” aspect, the stress of the unknown has taken its toll on my motivation. I spend so much time trying to make it through to the next month, that I don’t focus on any of my creative endeavors. I definitely miss the creative side of me and that was part of why I started these podcasts. That said, creating scripted content was never really my goal and guests are harder to get to commit than you’d think. I try to use my other artistic skills, and If you’ve been on my Instagram, then you know I dabble in memes and NFT’s as well. I hope to be expanding on those kinds of things in the coming months, as well as updating Shadow’s instagram, which you can find @ShadowCat420; not only is she one of the most well-traveled cats in the country and she will do tricks for her treats, I’ve also continued her training and am now working on giving her speech via her own custom AAC device. Crazy right? We’re only on day 3 and her brain is working hard. Last night she pressed her first button on purpose and I got so excited. Is it sad that I got that excited?? I don’t know, but I think giving her a way to feel heard is something that every creature could benefit from. Not to mention a testament to how intelligent our pets truly are.Anyway, what else do I have to share with you today? Well, I’m going to talk a bit about the Matrix: Resurrections movie, giving as few spoilers as I can, but also resetting some expectations, as I think it’s useful to go into it with knowledge of what you’re getting yourself into. I first contacted Kirsten Sandefur after reading Nick Hinton’s second book, The Aquarian Singularity, in my preparation for a second interview with him that we could never get the timing pinned down on. I definitely recommend Nick’s books overall, and Kirsten’s story was definitely one of the highlights. She was one of the cofounders of the original Reddit Dimension Jumping group. I’ll let her tell more of her story and I have the feeling you’ll be as fascinated as I was. Dimension jumping is something that I can absolutely NOT prove exists, but it fits well into my personal psychedelic experiences and thoughts on the multiverse nature of the universe. If you’re a believer in the multiverse hypothesis, then the idea of infinite closely related dimensions that you could potentially slide into won’t be earth-shattering by any means, but I just want to say that I can’t provide you any direct evidence for it. Kirsten is earnest and comes off as credible and thoughtful. I don’t believe everybody’s stories, but while her experience is quite unique and requires some suspension of disbelief, it’s most definitely interesting and entertaining. I hope you keep joining us here for the exchange!For this week’s intro rant, I’m going to talk about the UFO/UAP Disclosure going on, the report is officially scheduled to drop on the 24th or 25th of this month. That said, a lot of their conclusions have already been leaked and, surprise, surprise, it’s a big fat goose egg. No, not the craft they’re seeing, just what they’re going to tell us. They’re saying that there’s nothing to suggest that it’s aliens, but there’s nothing to suggest it’s not either. The UAP equivalent of, “we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens.” So let’s think about the other options: Is it China? Or Russia? Wouldn’t either of those options be even worse? The fact that either of those countries possess a technology that we can’t duplicate or explain would mean Game Over if these cold wars turned hot. Personally, I think they’re both working more on hacking warfare and psyops, but I suppose it’s at least possible that they have Tic-Tac-Tech. What other options are there? Swamp gas and weather balloons? Holograms? Our own classified drones? Maybe they’re trying to distract us? But if they’re trying to distract us, it’s not working very well. It seems like 90% of America is just shrugging their shoulders like this isn’t one of the biggest stories to ever come out. This week I did want to mention something that we’ve been talking about on the podcast since the very beginning basically, and that’s Covid. I can’t remember which episode intro we mentioned it on, but I’ve been a proponent of Bret Weinstein and his assertion that we need to at least look into the Lab Leak Hypothesis since at least the middle of last year. It’s been a very interesting couple of weeks as the media has started to actually take notice and look into this subject. I’ve never said that it was an intentional leak, and that’s not the point. We just need to accurately know how and why this started so that we can put processes in place to prevent or at least identify potential disasters like this faster in the future. We’ve had over 590,000 deaths so far in the U.S. alone, and over 3.5 million total worldwide. That’s a lot of people to lose no matter what, despite whatever comorbidity factors may have existed, all because of an accident within a lab. I’m not saying that that’s for sure what happened, but there is definitely a preponderance of evidence stacking up in that direction and if we’d been actually been looking into it seriously for the last year instead of dismissing it as “conspiracy theory,” then maybe we’d be a lot closer to an answer. Now we just sit back and wait, hoping that it doesn’t mutate into a more virulent or deadly strain.Enough on that rant for today though, I’m sure you’re only vaguely interested in my opinion, if that. I do want to give this week’s guest, Keith Berry, a bit more of an introduction though. Keith got his nickname, the “KO Kid,” very early in his career, scoring three knockouts in under a minute in just his first 6 fights. He continued his bruiser ways throughout his King of the Cage and Bellator career, scoring 17 wins, 12 by way of knockout and 3 more by submission. I really hope that people are still taking things seriously. Don’t get me wrong, I can completely understand the hesitancy to trust a vaccine process that we reduced the completion time on by up to 90%, but I do think it’s still a necessary step in order to contain variants and any potentially more serious spread down the line. I also hope that people remember the lessons from a century ago. If we consider 2020 the beginning, like 1918 for the flu pandemic, then it would be the fall and winter of 2021 could see a similar mutation and spread of this virus. That pandemic is actually thought to have started in 1917 in the trenches of WWI, and then mutated into a slightly deadlier spring 1918 flu, with the massive deaths coming in late 1918 and 1919. There were at least FOUR waves. If 2020 was only 1917 in this scenario, we could be in store for massive mutations and a much higher death rate. If a variant escapes that finds its way around the vaccines, then we’re all back at square one. That said, I think we need to remember to follow the science, which says that if you’re outdoors and vaccinated, it’s ok not to be masked up.  It seems like the sun still kills the virus quickly and good air circulation keeps it from spreading. It doesn’t seem to live on surfaces, at least not with the current variants, so you can keep that in mind too. And let’s not ignore the importance of our own immune systems. Staying active and keeping ourselves healthy is key so that our immune systems can actually respond and fight off infections. Let’s get into a much more pleasant topic, this week’s interview with the Traveling Nobody.
