Why the Law of Attraction Sucks
The LAW of attraction SUCKS. It’s not something you can turn on or offThe truth is the Law of Attraction is like gravity- it cannot be turned on or off. An apple seed has the coding to be planted into the ground and become an Apple tree, it will not turn into a carrot. I used to think if I focused on all the things I needed to do to gain my success and take all the action, no matter what I did I always ended up in a place of lack or not good enough. As a “striver” or “achiever” regardless of the steps I took or the success I had it would never have been good enough because I was always coming from a focal point of lack. When you create from this place you will never be able to have it. You Cannot plant seeds of Scarcity and Expect AbundanceThere are so many strategies to think about attraction but none of them matter because you will block the outcome or desired result based on your old beliefs and ideas. If you create from an old place no matter what you do that will be your end result. If you are planting seeds or beliefs of scarcity no matter what the outcome will be that. Even if you take massive action and work hard to achieve your goals if they come from a place of unworthiness or any other tactic of self-sabotage the end result will be inevitable.You have to be it Before you see itIn order to get into the resonance of your end result you must feel it and become it first. For example, if you think about what you want (I want to create an abundant business that supports women) you have to feel into the end result of this and the action steps taken based on the feeling will lead me in the direction of that end result. It’s amazing what has shifted since I received this piece of advice. I had just recently come out of another sabotage pattern and I felt like “Wow these brilliant entrepreneurs just know what they want and just go for it… they are it it’s in their bones. They don’t get scared when they lose or gain money, they are always the same…” I started to understand the depth of their attraction point. You are Attracting What You Are!RIGHT NOWIf you take a look around your life it is THE access to your point of attraction. You are always creating based on your deeper belief and feeling. If you don’t like what you see, if you feel like a victim, or you don’t know why it always is this way- DON’T WORRY!!!! There is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU! This is one of the problems I have with the “healing” and “Self-development” world- a lot of money is made off you having problems or need to “fix” yourself to become worthy. Worthy of what? Love? Your Dreams and Goals” Your Desires? Do you ever look at a baby and tell them they need to become more worthy of love? NO!!!! So why would you need to become more worthy?And to top it off what you focus on your create. Do you really want to focus on the past, your pain, your trauma, your victimization and keep creating more of that for yourself? Or would you rather align with your end result, tap into that feeling and take steps from that place to get you where you want to be?Simply all you need to change is your Point of Attraction.And I'll leave you with this as well. What you say - you also create. Your language has a quantum energetic frequency that pulls in or pushes away your desires. Your frequency of your most predonminat thought will lead to your behavior. If I say DONT look at your foot, your mind does not hear, "DONT," - it hears, LOOK at your foot. SO internally you want one thing, and your underlying thoughts and patterns are leading to another result - UNTIL we re-create your attraction point. THIS IS the ONE THING YOU CAN CONTROL.SO...The LAW of attraction SUCKS. It’s not something you can turn on or offThe truth is the Law of Attraction is like gravity- it cannot be turned on or off. BUT WHAT DOESNT SUCK is when you actually create change internally, remove the old beliefs, and what you don't want in life - we CHOOSE a new ATTRACTION POINT. SO in reality, the PDW has ultimately messed us all up through having to constantly fix ourselves, which sends us back down the path of who we are not and need to become, and its simply wrong. Ok friends, this may twist your mind a bit - but a foundation I’ve come to find so VERY VERY TRUE. The structure of new-age fields of thought and self-development ironically can inhibit people to NOT change. If you truly believe something, you do not reaffirm it to yourself. The Power of Presence. 5 Steps to BE HERE NOW
Are you a highly driven person, always wanting to learn more, experience more and have more? I know I am. Hence, why, I’m a crazy creative and passionate entrepreneur. You dont have to be an entrepreneur to have these instincts. Its a part of our nature and its how our brain works. I want to point out a tricky slipper slope, especially when trying to find any ounce of peace and joy as we venture through COVID - or any eye of the storm in your life right now. Let’s chat about FEELING THE FEELS.Think about your helpful or none helpful thoughts as seeds that are unintentionally or unintentionally sown, nourished and sustained. Unfortunately, due to overstimulation and short attention spans in todays swirling world - our thoughts are interpreted from the sensation of our feelings and we are unable to GROUND DOWN in our true nature and strong roots - and we live our lives totally letting our seeds (thoughts and feelings) to be randomly blown around in the wind.Hello anxiety. Right? There is an initial stimulus thoughts come from, and we have the power to know what to do with them, how to experience them, and how to change them through AWARENESS.We tend to go through every day just hoping that the feelings bus doesn’t run us over. So HERE’S A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT and what no one has ever taught you: A feeling is just a physical sensation in your body. And most of the time - it’s more than one sensation.Welcome OVERWHELM. But it’s never anything other than a sensation in your body.It is not you, it is not your identity and it’s not your true nature. It’s an electrical charge coming from a stimulus. This is what the process looks like that manifests into a sensation in the body. You. Are. Here. In. This. Model. After mastering the garden of my mind, becoming a clinical hypnotherapist, it slowly dawned on me that I was the only one keeping myself miserable in my life. So I asked myself, "What if I allow myself to be happy now?" In all my imperfections. In the same way a small rudder steers a gigantic ship, sometimes a powerful question is all it takes to change the course of your life. "What if you can be at peace and feel inner joy NOW?" I’m passionate about helping women’s brains, so let’s learn how to be happy now. It’s ok to be a slow learner but you’ll finally draw a connection to the level of your happiness and your ability to JUST BE.Let’s tap into this absolute game-changer together. When you use it regularly, it literally rewires your brain and body to default to peace instead of stress, depression, worry, anger etc. What if those feelings are just habits you're recycling from the past? What if freedom is easier than you realize? Read the following three steps as if I'm talking to you in a soft hypnotic voice. Let yourself start to zone out as you read the 5 steps. When you understand the steps, do them immediately. Doing it now sets you up to remember to use it when you need it - later. You can use this anytime you notice yourself feeling stressed, sad, or just have that general sense that something is wrong......because trust me, your mind is looking for something to worry about. 5 STEPS TO PEACE by BEING HERE NOW Protocol 1. Adjust your body language: Sit up straight, relax your shoulders and take a deep belly breath. Take twice as long to exhale as inhale. 2. Focus your eyes on one spot that's a little above your eye level. Just let yourself "zone out" while you stare at that spot. 3. As you stare at that spot, name - without judgement - 3 things you SEE, HEAR, and FEEL in your body. Here are my favorite things to notice for the "FEEL" part. The feeling of being supported by the surface beneath me. The feeling of my heart beating - loving and creating gratitude for its steady rhythm. The feeling of the air on my skin.4. Next, state a power word or something positive and simple to yourself. Examples: "All is well."“I am one with the greater whole around me.” "I am ok, safe and beloved right now." 5. Notice an acknowledge the peace of this present moment. Notice how 2 things cannot be in the same place at the same time. You can't fill your mind with chaotic thoughts and name the things you see, hear, and feel at the same time. You can immediately go back to the stressful thoughts - and you probably will at first. That's ok. That's what conscious learning is like. Then something amazing happens when you keep repeating The BE HERE NOW Protocol...You start to realize that you've duped yourself by looking at life through a negative lens. You realize you were just recycling negative emotions from the past and it's ok to feel good now - even though it feels un-natural You start giving yourself permission to feel good now - no matter how imperfect you are. Because YOU. ARE. ENOUGH. Right now. In this moment. Will you say that to yourself right now? I'll do it with you... "I AM ENOUGH." "I am allowed to be happy now." "I choose to stop recycling old negative emotions and practice presence." Thank you for reading this my friend. I wanted to let you know that you too can have peace and calm in the midst of the storm. 3 Steps to Stop the Imposter Monster [Lizard Brain]
Have you heard the term "lizard brain"? It refers to the part of the brain that's responsible for the "fight, flight, or freeze" response.When I first heard the term "lizard brain" I was a little offended.I pictured a lizard hijacking my thought process and I couldn't bring myself to believe that a little lizard could be the boss of me. I thought, "Maybe that happens to other people but MY fears are legitimate!"Have you ever wanted to start a new job and the thoughts go through your mind…“So-and-so is already really good at this! There’s not room for me in this market.""I just need one more training, then I'll be ready to start.""What if people think I'm a fraud? What if I actually am a fraud?!"What you don’t realize is that those thoughts are actually the lizard trying to keep us safe. You see, the part of the brain that prompts scary what-if scenarios exists to keep us in our comfort zone and it will do anything it can to keep you there.The lizard who was whispering (and sometimes shouting) those things in my ear is what I call The Impostor Monster. How to Silence the Impostor Monster:Before I share the simple solution, you should know what does NOT work.1. Using logic and reasoning don't work because the Impostor Monster doesn't understand logic and reasoning. 2. It never works to wait for the fear to pass or wait til you feel ready. In fact, every time you listen to The Impostor Monster and wait to take action, you reinforce the fear habit. And yes, it is a habit. Even though it feels really real.So what DOES work?Let’s talk about changing by the outline of the 3 B's. Sometimes people doubt that such a simple tool can generate change......until they try it.If you're willing to prove to yourself how easy it can be to silence the Impostor Monster, I'd like you to decide when you'll use the following exercise in the next week. Think of a time when you fear failure the most and imagine yourself using the 3 B's Protocol you're about to learn. You can even set an alarm on your phone to remember.The 3 B'sBody: Shift your body language/posture. This works because the lizard lives in a specific posture. There's a good chance your shoulders are tense and rounded forward. Try this right now: Imagine a string is pulling you up from the top of your head and aligning your bones. Let the rest of your body hang loose and limp and relaxed. Allow your shoulders to let go and drift down. Puff out your chest a bit. Notice that you're already feeling better.Breath: The Impostor Monster lives in shallow chest breathing. When you shift your breathing as follows, it literally turns off the fear chemicals in your body. Try this now: Inhale while you count to 7. Exhale while you count to 11. Take three 7-11 breaths while you're in the posture above. Notice how much better you feel.Belief: Ok, here's the big one!Only it's not actually big. Beliefs are simply thoughts that we repeat over and over to ourselves. Two things cannot occupy the same space at the same time. The easiest way to silence the Impostor Monster is to fill your head with the things you WANT to feel. Belief is the third "B" because it's much easier to change your self talk AFTER you change your Body Language and Breathing.Example: The Impostor Monster says, "You'll never be as good at this as so-and-so. You might as well give up."After shifting your body language and breathing, ask yourself this magic question. "How do I WANT to feel."Then start self-talking the answer..."I can get better and better at this. I believe in myself. I've learned to excel in other areas so that proves I can excel here too."So here’s the Recap:The next time you catch yourself second guessing your ability to move toward your goal, shift your 3 B's.Body Language: String pulling you up from the top of your head and shoulders relaxed. Breath: Take three 7-11 breathsBeliefs: This is just self talk. Is Menopausal Hair Loss Normal? Getting to the Root!
Tell me, have you been told your hair loss is "just part of aging"? When women talk about hormonal hair loss, they are generally referring to something called androgenic alopecia; essentially, this is just a fancy way to talk about hair loss caused by high levels of androgens (especially one hormone, a metabolite of testosterone, called dihydrotestosterone or DHT). When women have imbalanced levels of androgenic hormones (like DHT), they can bind to the hormone receptors of our hair follicles and put them in their “rest-phase”.Essentially, hormonal hair loss is the result of our hair follicles being told to stop growing and to go to sleep instead. Many of the salon clients I work with who are approaching or experiencing menopause have shared with me that they feel dismissed by their healthcare providers when despereate and asking for help with their hair loss. The harvest can either be flowers or weeds.”This famous metaphor speaks volumes about the influence our unconscious mind has on creating the results we get in life.So, lets dig in (no pun intended).First. What’s in a thought?Your subconscious mind consists of many things you may not be aware of or give much thought to day-to-day, such as -beliefs, -habits, -values, -attitudes and ....-behaviours to name a few.Think of the subconscious mind as the soil in which you plant your garden. It offers a foundation for the seeds to grow and take root, providing plants with the resources they need to take life and to thrive. However, the soil does not discriminate; it’s sole purpose is to support the ecosystem and it's immunity – the good, the bad and the ugly.Your conscious mind consists of your thoughts and feelings about the things you notice and ultimately do. This is the part of your mind you are aware of day-to-day. In this garden analogy, the seeds you plant in your garden are, collectively, your conscious mind. Every thought you think is a seed.So what?A conscious thought which reappears often will eventually embed itself into your subconscious mind, where it will grow into a permanent belief. Depending on the thought, this can work for you or against you - and the trickiest part, is that we're often unconscious to our beliefs, and they run on a negative bias framework of 90% of our thoughts daily. Now, who wants a garden like that? Getting the picture? When we plant a seed in our garden, it always grows into what the seed was meant to be. f you plant roses, you will reap roses. If you plant lavender, you will reap lavender.Just like the seeds you plant in a garden, the thoughts you think also grow into what they are meant to be. For example, if your thoughts are mainly about how hard it is to get fit ( or whatever your desire is), you will unconsciously foster beliefs in your mind at its deepest level to support this. As a result, you will walk, talk, feel and act like a person who holds this belief. You will develop unconscious habits and behaviors to support this belief and naturally, will get the results that perfectly reinforce these beliefs. That is, in this example, poor fitness levels and in the long run, health problems. Will this adversely impact your life? Absolutely.In life, it has been said that “you get what you focus on, to the exclusion of everything else.” Your outer reality reflects your inner-thoughts and beliefs with great precision.Only you can tend to your inner-garden; that is your mind. It is your responsibility to seed and fertilise your inner-garden with the plants you want to grow. Remember, the subconscious mind does not discriminate between thoughts. Our garden grows the seed that is planted whether it is desirable or not. And, there is a significant penalty for neglecting your inner garden: a life not of your choosing.So how do we create our own beautiful garden?We must be present and conscious in our lives.THIS IS THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THE GARDEN OF THE MIND. Choose to be mindful and present in the seeds that you plant and in how you nurture them. Fleeting thoughts are like seeds blown in with the wind. They do not get planted, watered and nourished unless we choose to do so. When you choose to focus on repeated thoughts, you reinforce and reaffirm them, meaning they grow stronger and deeper roots. They take up more space in your garden. Alternatively, when you step back to observe and analyse your thoughts as they come, you can decide to keep those which serve you; and remove those that do not serve you. You can also encourage the growth of the plants you’d like to see more of and resolve to focus on cultivating this area going forward.Success takes time, effort, tenacity and a great deal of focus - but it can be fun - and damnit - quite fruitful!Successful people consciously choose to focus on where they’re heading NOW with clarity. They surround themselves with good seeds and flourishing flowers - and no- I'm not talking bout PANSIES! Unsuccessful people, do not. And, further supporting Wordsworth’s garden metaphor, Earl Nightingale once said: “You become what you think about most of the time.”
