Where is the Divine? – Astral Projection
Hi! Time to get back into the rhythm of things after the festivities, there has been a lot going on in Italy in more ways than one, we had a nice family Christmas then of course there’s all the stuff that is going on in the world at the moment that can weigh a bit heavy. However, it is more important than ever to focus on things that make us feel good, to focus on strengthening our connection to the Light and know that all will be OK.Today I’d like to tell you about an experience I had at the end of October 2021. I wake up already in the Astral, I am in an astral version of my garden in Italy, it feels good to be out and about, for some reason I am pushing my bike up the steps in the garden but as I think about it the bike disappears. I fly up in the air to the end of the garden. Two of my nephews are there with their partners and they tell me that they are practicing. I fly off to the left of the garden and say to my higher self ‘Take me where I need to be’. I immediately get rushed off somewhere, as I’m speeding along I think to myself why not try to commune with the Divine, I send out the intention and say ‘take me to God which seems a bit silly now as if I needed to be taken somewhere, when God is everywhere. Infact, I get my answer and a vision opens in my mind of Mika singing a few lines from his song ‘Grace Kelly’, ‘I can be brown, I can be blue, I can be violet sky’. I then find myself watching a kind of concert where faces keep coming forward and back, not particularly nice faces, I am watching the concert with a guy through a window. I turn round towards the guy, it’s raining and I realize we are in France. It is a bit dreary. I wake up. I always try to take away something from each experience I have, the images, the people, places and objects are all a unique scene that will probably never repeat itself in exactly the same way, it is so with all dreams and OBEs, even with our lives. Imagine all the new dreams and OBEs being created all over the world by humans, even if people don’t remember they are still created, it is an important part of who we are but unfortunately so often pushed under the carpet in the Western world in the rush that our lives have become. The French guy was most probably someone who needed help seeing as the scene felt a bit dreary, however, the vision of Mika singing ‘I can be brown, I can be blue, I can be violet sky’ a message from the Divine reminding me that the Divine is omnipresent, present everywhere at the same time. We can constantly commune with God, the All, the Creator, whichever term you use, if we open up and let the ‘voice’ and the ‘colours’ in, if we let the sound/vibration/energy in. Interestingly, as I was writing this up back in October while sitting outside a bar with coffee on a beautiful sunny morning, a guy walked in wearing an amazing tracksuit full of colour. Over the Christmas period I only had one or two OBEs, with my kids home there is more physical reality stuff to get on with like shopping and cooking, did a lot of that lol. Not a bad thing though we are actually here to live after all, I think it’s important to keep a good balance between physical and spiritual life. Astral projection should be used to complement our lives not to escape from it though lately a bit of astral light relief is indeed welcome. Hope everyone is having a good start to the year, remember stay centred and stay focused on the good things in the world. Happy travels!.

Rubbish Tip to Astral Projection Tip
One of my greatest pleasures in life is writing up an OBE in the morning, this morning, however, I don’t remember any. I do think it is important not to feel frustrated if we try but don’t manage to have an out-of-body experience. Getting frustrated can have a negative effect. Dreams can be profound too and give us much-needed messages and wisdom. I have a lot of dreams during the night, I love dreaming too, in fact it was my dreaming that got me on the road to astral projection. As I went deeper into my dreams, trying to understand them, so my mindset slowly changed. One very important lucid dream I had during this period was where I was sitting inside my head with my guide, we were sitting on a rubbish tip. My guide was pointing out all the stuff I needed to throw out in order to clear some space in my head. This reminds me of a quote by William Buhlman: “During out-of-body exploration we confront many interesting experiences; these include vibrational state fears, thought forms, self made and external energy creations, contact with non-physical inhabitants and countless other issues. However, the single most pervasive issue we experience is our own indoctrinated mindset and state of consciousness. Our perception of reality is distorted by a collection of falsehoods and beliefs and complicated even further by our grossly inaccurate form based self-image. Our ability to effectively explore thought responsive realities is often blocked by our own conscious and subconscious mind.” William Buhlman, William’s site is astralinfo.org My lucid dream was telling me in a very clear way that if I wanted to progress I needed to unblock my mind. This is often the reason why our OBE attempts may not be successful. It is a continual process, even before we go to sleep we need to clear our minds of thoughts that may interfere with our intentions to OBE. All those thoughts we have running round in our heads, thoughts about the day passed, the next day, a film on tv etc. can drive our dreaming mind crazy; we have to shut them down or at least put them on hold. The way I try to put it all on hold is to tell myself I can’t do anything about it all now while in bed trying to sleep. If I have a problem I may well get an answer in a dream but if my mind isn’t clear my dreams may turn out a jumbled mess. Robert Bruce had a similar experience, he was instructed by a master to take his belief system apart and then rebuild it based on personal experience, common sense and logic. He calls this process the ‘Catch Basket Concept’ and you can read more about this on this site Astral Dynamics. It is so important to look at your beliefs continuously and examine them, there is so much going on in our world at the moment that it is easy to be influenced by the constant hammering we are getting from all angles about what we should believe. To base our beliefs on personal experience, common sense and logic is good advice. The astral is a very ‘reactive’ environment, and will often reflect our beliefs so we must bear this in mind when we are out there and when examining our experiences, we may also be influenced by the collective human experience. We are all connected by a field of energy, and because of this we can pick up on information from other lives, from other cultures throughout history, every thought, word and deed is recorded and accessible, imagine the wealth of information and experiences, it is truly mind-blowing. It is inevitable that our beliefs will influence our out-of-body experiences so it is important to be able to recognise this and work with it, always willing to change our beliefs if we feel they are no longer valid for us. I am reminded of part of a quote by Bruce lee. “Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water…………..Be water, my friend.” Thank you for reading/listening, Happy travels!

An Astral Projection Technique (Hands)
There’s a popular lucid dreaming technique which involves looking at your hands at various intervals during the day and asking yourself if you are dreaming, if you do this often enough you’ll do it in your dream and when you ask the question the answer will be, ‘Yes I’m dreaming’ and you will become lucid. When my daughter had the OBE she described in the previous episode she used the same idea of looking at her hands but in a different way. Here’s her describing what she did. (Approximate script) I pictured myself in my head looking at my hands, it’s a bit hard to describe actually, what I was doing was imagining myself looking at my hands and then picturing the window in my bedroom and thinking about me going towards the window, because what I used to do before was actually opening my eyes an then it was just a matter of ‘Am I out-of-body am I not out-of-body’ and then most of the time I’ll be not out-of-body because it would be me physically moving and opening my eyes, whereas if I keep everything in my mind, I think it works better, just think about it and picture myself looking at my hands and the window, and I just automatically switch to being out-of-body so I don’t need to open my eyes because this was what I was doing before, as I wanted to look at myself in bed, my physical body. This shows how visualization can help you to have OBEs. One of the techniques I used to use a lot was a combination of visual and tactile, I still use this technique but not as often. It involves visualizing a place where I enjoy being, a place I know well which I can really bring to life, so much so that I can even feel what it’s like to be there, I imagine how things feel and play the scene over and over in my mind. I imagine myself flying there, how I can feel the breeze on my face etc. I make it as real as I can. The place I use is my parents back garden as I was always outside as a child and I know the garden so well. It’s important that the location you choose has a positive vibe. You have to be consistent and use the same place each time you try, it may not work the first time and this is normal, we are programming ourselves so we need to keep re-enforcing the program and repeat the process over and over. Maybe you have a photo of the location, you can carry it around with you and if you find yourself with a few spare moments get out the photo and imagine yourself there, bring it to life, how does the grass feel, or if you have chosen a beach, how does the sand feel under your feet or the waves gently lapping at your feet, can you hear the seagulls? I would often end up in my astral garden, I still do, and then I decide what I am going to do or I interact with who or what is in the garden. I’ve had some interesting meetings in my garden over the years. So start to think about your special place bring it to life and imagine yourself there before you go to sleep and at any time during the night when you wake up, Thanks for listening/reading, Happy travels!

My Daughter Describes Her Out-of-Body Experience
Summary of episode. In this episode my daughter, Francesca, describes a recent out-of-body experience, she said it was like observing the universe and felt very surreal. Great to see OBEs running in the family. Francesca runs Italianando a site all about Italian culture and language, so why not pop over and learn a few Italian phrases. Affirmations – Astral Projection Technique
10th November, 2021 This experience illustrates another technique which I often use when trying to astral project, it is a great method as you don’t even have to wake up and do any practice, it is based on programming yourself through affirmations, obviously programming does take some time but it is certainly worth investing a few minutes before you go to sleep and even time during the day repeating affirmations. We all have times during the day when we can repeat affirmations, I wouldn’t do this is you are doing something that you need all your attention for but, for example, when we are waiting in a queue would be an ideal opportunity. The affirmation is, ‘Now I am out-of-body’ or ‘Now I am in the Astral,’ or even ‘Now I am aware,’ whichever you prefer, I use ‘Now I am out-of-body’. Affirmations are best said out loud though standing in a supermarket queue repeating them may not be the best place, in such situations I just say the words in my head, this has still worked for me. You also have to say it like you mean it, repeating affirmations and not really believing what you are saying probably won’t work, you have to say the affirmations knowing them to be true. I often become aware that I am in the Astral having totally missed the exit and I think this is due to the repetition of ‘Now I a out-of-body’ that I do on various occasions. When this happens I intuitively know I am in the Astral and it is not a lucid dream. In this particular experience I become aware as I am flying over wondrously green countryside, the colour green is so rich and it feels so good, however, as I’m flying around really enjoying myself the thought comes to me that I really should do something useful. So I say to my higher self, ‘Take m where I need to be,’ and as usual I am whisked off, I actually enjoy not knowing where I am going to end up. In front of me I can see the entrance to some sort of underground world, a white metalish door opens up and there is darkness inside, I jokingly say to my higher self, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea’. I fly through the door and come to land in an underground cavern which looks like some sort of working area. There are young people/adults there all dressed in black, some have black helmets on, and they all have a red mark on their faces, that looks a bit like a birthmark. I recognise the place as somewhere I have been before though now I have no recollection of ever being there but the feeling was strong in the experience. The people there seemed to know I was a visitor, and I believe I told them that I was out-of-body and was from Earth. They asked me what Earth was like, I can’t remember what I answered or I didn’t as it was too complicated. At one point I remember that they are cooking stuffed peppers, the ones in the shape of a horn. After that I wake up. In this experience I believe I was visiting another reality as they asked me about life on Earth, as I felt I had visited there before, this may be soe sort of ongoing thing. There is so much we don’t remember or our night time escapades and so much happening that we aren’t aware of, we can only do our best to put the pieces together. (13th Nov 2021) I had another astral experience about 3 days after the one I have just described and again it illustrates how repeating ‘Now I am out-of-body’ before sleeping often serves to wake me up once I am already in the Astral. This is what happened. I become aware and know I am in the Astral, it always feels so good just flying. I am so happy I thank the Divine for this experience. For some reason I have my right arm outstretched to the side, my palm is facing upwards and in my palm is a coffee mug. The mug is one we have had for years and it’s still going strong even though I don’t personally use it. I prefer a smaller one. Then the mug disappears in a puff. I am flying over a city there are many houses but it is a very tidy and organised city and the houses are set neatly, each house appears to be a little different though each has space around and a garden. By this time there is someone near me, I see that at least 2 of the houses are upside down, seemingly balancing on their rooves. They are not damaged in any way just upside down. I asked the person with me the reason for this and he said there had been some turbulance and this had caused the houses to turn over. I don’t remember anymore. Whether I was in another reality I’m not sure, or whether this had some personal meaning I have yet to decide, the mug is certainly personal though, it isn’t a mug I’m particularly attached to, I never use it. Maybe I have let go of whatever it symbolised to me, given that it’s been around for a long time, it could have reminded me of times past. Using affirmations is definitely not to be overlooked and can be combined with other techniques, it certainly works for me so there is no reason why it should not work for others. So give it a try, remember you have to be consistent and don’t give up if it doesn’t work immediately, programming your mind can take time. Happy travels! Ali

Creating in the Astral
An Astral Projection ‘So Real’ Moment Oct 28th 2021 The morning before having this experience I was working on and published an episode related to mind training, which I consider of utmost importance when trying to achieve and when having out-of-body experiences. The act of focusing on that episode I believe contributed towards an experience I had the morning after, in that particular episode I speak about training the subconscious mind to wake us up in the mind awake/body asleep state, this is for sure one of the least time-consuming ways to achieve an OBE, after all we all have to sleep. Focusing the mind on what we want to achieve gives the same message to the subconscious mind and it will kick in and try to help us. That morning I suddenly become aware as I am experiencing energetic sensations and I know immediately what’s happening, so I get up out of my body. I go over to the window and fly out I am immediately in the astral as the sky is blue and it isn’t night time. A large rocket flies past, I believe this is a thought form as the day before I was talking about space travel. I continue to fly and I find myself underground in a cavern, it is where a lady called Janet lives, she is sitting in front of me and we chat. The main subject of our conversation is the ‘realness’ of our meeting, I get the feeling we are in Narnia, though it is nothing like the Narnia of the books and Janet was never a character as far as I can remember. Maybe there exists more than one Narnia. There is a pool of water in the cavern and she shows me her fish they are like koi but bigger, bright orange and white. As we are talking I am amazed how real it is, it is as if I am talking to someone in the physical, in a sense more real. I’ve had this type of experience before and the ‘realness’ never fails to shock me, we are so brainwashed into thinking that our lives on Earth is as real as it gets, but in experiences like this one it is life on Earth that fades into the distance like a dream. Then it is almost as if we create something and there are a group of us talking about how you can visit places like Narnia of the books. Janet explains that whatever is held in the mind of people, particularly on a large scale gives energy to its creation and so a place like Narnia and its characters exist as a creation of the people who tune in to it. I presume this would be true for horror scenarios too lol, a sobering thought but it makes sense since the astral is a mix of negative and positive. I create a Peter from Narnia, then I create a cadbury’s cream egg, I loved these as a kid, I think I would be sick if I ate one now. I bite of the top, a great way to eat chocolate there are no calories in the astral lol. Then I wake up. It was nearly time to get up, so I went over the action in my mind a few times while in that state of not quite awake and not quite asleep. I did go back to sleep after this and had a dream where we are going down into the Earth to combat something, each person has a kind of helper, mine is called Simon, there are guides with me and they do most of the work, one guide has a very bright green helper called something like gnash, it is a kind of a blob but with an uneven surface, it has a face and small arms and legs. Very strange. I’ve had other OBEs where I have been practising creating things, it is as if I am learning how to manipulate energy with my mind. Maybe this is one of the reasons we come to Earth to learn how to create, here it takes a lot longer for things to manifest could be because until we get control of our minds things could get rather weird. Thanks for listening

Astral Projection Technique – Staying Awake While Falling Asleep
Astral projection in theory isn’t difficult in itself, as easy as staying awake when falling asleep, sounds simple doesn’t it? However, most people do need to practise and even after all the practice it still requires good mind control. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve tried this technique but have been too tired to hang on to my mind, sometimes I manage it sometimes I don’t. After all, sinking down into sleep is such a pleasant sensation when it’s cold outside and the bed is just so warm and cosy. I had my first conscious out-of-body experience using this method, but I was actually trying to lucid dream I wasn’t practising astral projection. I didn’t feel I was ready to leave my body at that time but obviously someone thought differently, I remember how wonderful it felt to slowly sink down and let my body fall asleep while I was quietly observing in the background, then as my body fell asleep I felt all tingly with energy and before I knew it I was floating above my body. So how did I do it, how did I manage to keep my mind awake while my body fell asleep? The first thing to do is make sure you are not too tired, so make sure you have a few hours sleep before trying, practising this technique as soon as you go to bed is not a good idea as your mind may not want to play until it has zoned out for a few hours. When it begins to surface again is an excellent time to try for an OBE, your body is still tired but your mind is ready for a bit of action. A good thing to do is just get up briefly to tune your mind in, don’t do too much or your body will wake up too much, just go to the loo or walk around the room. When you try to astral project don’t lie in a position that is too comfortable or you may just drop off due to habit. This is what I did that first time I went from mind awake/body awake to mind awake/body asleep. I started to imagine myself in a lift going down and down, always further down, I tried to feel as if I was going down not just visualise it. I reproduced the sensation in my body, forever further down. The trick is to keep your mind awake but without concentrating too hard, the mind should be like a quiet observer in the background, concentrating too hard will keep you awake, yet you do have to remain gently focused or your mind will wander off into thoughts, wonderings and eventually into sleep. As you sink down it is essential to keep a check on your emotions any strong emotional reactions, positive or negative will pull you out of your relaxed, focused state, so whatever happens stay cool, calm and collected during the whole process. You may see weird stuff, colours, shapes, you may hear noises, voices etc, just accept it all as normal and remain quietly present through it all. Things may even seem to get ‘physical’ in that you may feel sensations that you are not used to. You might feel sensations in your heart chakra and may or may not feel varying degrees of vibrations, these can vary from very strong vibrations to a slight tingling sensation, again stay calm, if you panic or react strongly you will wake up. Just go with it all, you can scream and shout when you wake up but while it’s all happening remain calm. Once you feel you are in the mind awake/body asleep state focus your attention on the window or any point away from your physical body, try to feel yourself floating above your physical body and over to the window. Keep the experience short for the first few OBEs then you will have more chance of remembering the whole thing when you re-enter. If you don’t succeed the first time, keep trying, each time you wake up during the night try again, don’t get disheartened, it took me a lot of practice before I had any success. Whatever you do, don’t give up, when we learn new skills it takes time, also astral projection should be treated with respect, it’s not something you should enter into lightly, at least in my opinion, reasons for learning it I believe should be focused in the positive. Like attracts like in the astral, pracitically instantaneously, so being positive and focused in love will raise your vibration and your experiences will reflect this. If learning this skill takes time for most people there may be a reason for this, as it is a process and there may be other things happening in the beyond that we aren’t aware of, preparing us for our first exit. There are many other techniques and I will be talking about a few of those in future episodes, however, when I manage it I love the feeling of staying aware while my body falls asleep it is truly fascinating.

Where Am I? Who Am I? – Astral Projection Can be Confusing…..
Ever woken up wondering where you are? It’s as if you have been so far into yourself that it takes a while to get back to the physical and tune in to your surroundings. This morning I woke up with that exact feeling, it took me a few seconds to get all the information back in my head. Such a weird feeling. Even weirder is where you wake up and can’t remember which ‘me’ you are. That’s happened to me too. I’ve usually been astral projecting, my consciousness expanded into more than my Ali Wylie identity, then when I enter my body and wake up, I have to think ‘Ok, which me am I?’ Then the information downloads into my head and I remember where I live, who my family are etc etc. Astral projection really opens up your perspective on life, the world and indeed who we truly are with many different experiences as different identities. To me it makes perfect sense that we should have the experience of being different people I think as multidimensional beings we would want to learn as much as we can and experience things from different perspectives. Here on earth there is such a richness of experience that we can delve into. What I love about the astral too is how time appears to be flexible, in one OBE once I lived a whole lifetime, the experience seemed to last forever, when I woke up I couldn’t remember all the details but I remember being a man wandering around his country searching for something, always searching, always travelling it was an incredible feeling to live a whole life in less than a night, I felt quite exhausted too. Maybe that life inspired me to go on an inner journey in this life, my external journeys brought me to Italy where my inner adventures began. “We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.” ― Anaïs Nin

Mind Training for Astral Projection
As I have mentioned in other podcast episodes I am making audios out of some blog posts, this one is a bit of a mystery to me I don’t remember it at all but I definitely wrote it. This is the importance of writing down experiences or recording them in some way as it is so easy to forget, you gain great insights from reading again at a later date. Often in the early hours of the morning I try a variation of an astral projection technique. The basic technique is keeping the mind awake while the body falls asleep. If you manage it, it is a lovely sensation, but it is not always easy. When I say lovely sensation I probably should say that it is for me, some people may experience strong vibrations, hear strange sounds etc but I generally have a very quiet exit. Anyway to the experience. While laying in bed one morning, allowing myself to sink down it struck me that a good exercise would be to let the mind drift off into the hypnagogic imagery and then bring it back before it went too far. Probably an intuition sent from my higher self. Almost like mind sit ups! It really is like strengthening your mind muscle. I did it for a while but then couldn’t hold on much longer and I drifted off. However, a little while after dropping off there I am suddenly in the mind awake/body asleep state. My mind has kicked in and I am awake, all I have to do now is fizz myself out of my body. My first instinct when I leave my body is to fly through the window, if only to get away from my physical body which can sometimes have a magnetic effect on the energy body and pull it in. So I fly through the window and into the darkness on the other side, only to find myself back in the room, I try again, through the window into the darkness ……….. only to find myself back in my room, I keep trying, it is as if I am stuck in a loop. My guides must be cracking up I probably look like a dog chasing its tail! Anyway, after about the fifth attempt the scenery changes outside the window……. but what happens defies description. It all makes perfect sense at the moment, I am talking to a little 2-dimensional man which is really a representation of something else, of a ‘people’ but what we discuss and what it is all about lies in some deep place in my memory that I can’t get back to in the morning. All that is left in my mind when I wake up is an image of a pack of cards and the image of the little man who was without a face. It strikes me now while writing this that what was happening while I was out-of-body in my room, trying to leave through the window but ending up back where I started could have been a reflection of what I was doing before falling a sleep, trying to pull my mind back from the hypnagogic imagery. Allowing your mind to experience the hypnagogic imagery and then pulling it back before sleep kicks in is a great ‘mind-muscle’ exercise. I think it is best done after you’ve had some sleep. Sleep is important and attempting to lucid dream or have an OBE if you’re tired could lead to frustration and even disturb your initial rest period, also your mind will be a lot more capable if you have already had some ‘shut eye’. We need to convince our subconscious mind that we want to become aware while we sleep, sometimes, as in this experience, I become aware in the mind awake body/asleep state, as if my subconscious wakes me up. Consistency and dedication in astral projection practice are essential so keep at it, don’t give up if nothing happens, often we aren’t aware of the progress we are making and of course don’t forget to enjoy the process because it can be fun, it can also be frustrating, if you allow yourself to become frustrated because any exercise, in any practice there’s always something to be learnt. We are trying to train our mind, our subconscious to wake us up while we are asleep and if you do keep at it, it really does work, this happens to be all the time sometimes I automatically wake up in a dream, or in the mind awake body asleep state or sometimes I wake up when I’m actually in the astral. So it is worth all the effort and believe me I did make a lot of effort when i was learning how to have out-of-body experiences and I continue to make an effort because it’s not exactly like riding a bike, as once you’ve learnt to ride you can always do it but with astral projection you have to keep practicing you have to keep at it, you have to keep training your mind to be present in that moment, to make your mind stronger because our mind can be such an important companion but it can also be our worst enemy if we let it drift off, if we continuously being it back to the present that will end up also occuring in our dreams, so keep practicing, enjoy it all, get as much as you can out of every dream, lucid dream, OBE, out of every practice that you do as that’s what is important to get what you can out of everything and in that way you’ll always be making progress. Thank you for listening/reading, Happy Travels!

Mindfulness in Astral Projection
Mindfulness is becoming more and more popular because it actually works for many of the problems we have in life. Basically mindfulness is about being aware in life, aware of our thoughts particularly and not allowing ourselves to get involved in the endless chatter that goes on in our heads, it is about focusing on the present moment. Being present in our lives makes every moment important because we are there, living it fully, how many moments do we miss in life as we are thinking about the future or stressing about the past, before we know it months have past, years and we have lived most of that time lost in the endless noise in our minds. The more mindful you are in life so it will cross over into your dreams and out-of-body experiences, the longer you can stay focused, the longer you will remain consciously out-of-body and the more you will be able to remember afterwards. It is all too easy to lose your awareness when in the astral, this is why practicing mindfulness during the day will enhance your experiences. Sometimes when in the astral, experiences can become rather dreamlike this may be because if you are not focused you may unwittingly project your thoughts and start interacting with them, this is not necessarily a bad thing if you recognise what is happening or you realise after you wake up. We can learn a lot by seeing what is in our mind. Thought forms to me often appear a little flatter energy wise, with time you learn to tell the difference though it is not always easy. I believe it was in Waldo Viera……. That he was visiting someone in the astral who had surrounded himself with one or two thought forms of beautiful ladies, Waldolf is struck by how real they appear, his friend must have been quite adept at his thought-form creation maybe intention makes the thought forms stronger. To me astral projection is all about spiritual growth, so if a few thought forms do pop up I can learn from them to by trying to understand why that particular thing popped up. In one of Robert Bruce’s books he mentions seeing a Thomas the Tank Engine tooting on by which would be quite normal if your kids watched the program, I can still reproduce the theme tune to Thomas and it’s years since I watched an episode. Mindfulness with help you stay in observer mode and stay calm if the astral action gets a little intense and something potentially scary is happening, it will help you see things for what they are and keep you emotionally stable. Everyday spend some time practising being in observer mode, that part of you that remains indifferent to thoughts, emotions etc, it just observes, takes notes and just lets them go. This part of you remains ever in the present, it observes your thoughts about the past and the future but it doesn’t go with them. It observes your emotions but it doesn’t get involved or identify with them. Mindfulness can also help you in dreams, yes you can be mindful in dreams, you can wake up in your dreams and explore your own consciousness, a step further would be out-of-body experiences which truly take you to another level of understanding of yourself, who you are and the world around us. When we become more aware in our dreams we can notice things that are out of place and as a result wake up in the dream and become lucid, being more aware in dreams causes you to ask yourself questions like, ‘How did I get here?’ , reminds me of a song by Talking Heads, ‘Once in a Lifetime, anyway if you ask yourself this question you may realise that you haven’t a clue to how you got where you are and so may realise you are dreaming as we usually remember how we get from one place to another in the physical, while in a dream we find ourselves suddenly appearing in different places. We can use mindfulness in all aspects of our lives, be it awake or asleep, an essential tool in our journey. Happy travels!

How Joy can help with Fear in Astral Projection

Werewolves and Dragons
The following episode is taken from a blog post back in November 2018, certainly worth making an audio version. I just love dreams, full of messages and symbolism, I think part of the school curriculum should be a course on how to interpret them, dreams are a gateway to discovering who we are. From dreams […]

The Importance of Intention in Astral Projection
When training to have out-of-body experiences or if you already have them, intention is very important, it is a particular kind of energy and when you intend you are giving a the message to the universe that you are going to do something, you plan to do it, it is also a message to your subconscious mind. Intention is important in all things we do if we want to succeed. Think about when you are just about to get up from the table, first you decide to do it then you intend, then you do, as you intend to do it your muscles prepare for the movement. OK achieving conscious out-of-body experiences may require more effort but intention helps get things moving. So when you go to sleep or when you do your OBE practice, intend to leave your body, no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ or might or maybe but intend and know. It is also of benefit to have the intention of going somewhere or of doing something, this will also give your subconscious mind a nudge into helping to make it happen. Having a clear idea of what you want to do in the astral will help you focus and could even help to avoid unwanted attention from other beings who may want to disturb you. You can also use affirmations before your OBE practice or before going to sleep, written and said aloud, affirmations are always said in the present, so for example, ‘now I’m out-of-body’ if you repeat this often enough you may end up saying it in a dream and suddenly become aware. Keep your affirmations simple. Consistency is of the utmost importance even if you feel nothing has happened, our subconscious works behind the scenes we are not always aware of the progress at first, this is why it is important to keep going, don’t get despondent or give up. Developing new skills can take time, there will be progress but it probably won’t happen overnight. Remember you are working for the entire you, whatever you learn in this life will affect your other incarnations, this is why learning and spiritual development are so important as through these things you will rise the vibration of the WHOLE YOU. If you already experience OBEs intention is still important so you don’t get distracted while out-of-body. If you have some sort of health issue to resolve you could use astral projection to investigate the reason or even to heal. I did this once when I had a calcific tendonitis, I set the intention to heal it before going to sleep one night. I woke up in the mind awake, body asleep state and got up out of my body. I remember my intention to heal, I stood by my bed and saw there was a dolphin within my shoulder. I can’t remember all the details, I would have to look up the experience. I did indeed have less pain in the morning though it did come back after a few days, however, I did find a path to healing and my shoulder became more flexible and pain free. There is so much to be done in the astral, so much guidance if we can only tap into it, indeed so much guidance in our lives in general if we only stop to listen, by paying attention to signs that were sent me I managed to improve my shoulder problem immensely. I went from very little movement and a lot of pain to be able to twist it into various yoga positions, pain free. All this started with the intention to heal my shoulder without medication. Thank you for listening, remember you can get the re-release of my book Astral Dancer on Kindle at a special pre-order price of around a dollar or equivalent in your own currency. It will be released on 27th August when the price will go up. You can get the link to the Kindle pre-order offer through my website, astralprojectionpodcast.com , it’s on the front page. How to go from a Lucid Dream to the Astral
Many of my astral experiences have their beginning in a lucid dream, in my opinion it is the easiest way to get into the astral, as the process is not so ‘shocking’. By this I mean that you don’t experience the vibrational state. I have only experienced the famous vibrations once because I asked to, […]
