As our march toward The Force Awakens continues, we talk about the movie full of grimdark happenings like the murder of children, Anakin Skywalker burning alive after getting 100% dismembered, and Padme dying after giving birth. Despite the utter despair it brings, Star Wars: Episode III also happens to be the best of the prequels. We get into the birth of Darth Vader and the death of the Jedi, the fate of Luke and Leia, as well as get a special visit from Ben's two-year-old son who sums up the movie better than we ever could.

It's an impressive use of the comics medium, and so of course, we had to fawn over it.

Not only is Hitman #34 one of the greatest superhero comics of all time, but this series stands as a reminder of how totally inspired a superhero comic book can be. It's crude, it's heartbreaking, it's hilarious, it's absolutely bonkers... not many series can deliver the breadth of emotions that Hitman manages. This series truly stands as one of the crowning achievements in DC's long and storied publishing history.

Plus, Bendis and Finch doing some really solid work, even if the story itself doesn't exactly hold up on its own. There's also plenty of the usual nonsense and questions from the audience.
