On this 116th episode of the Arlington-Prospect Advice Givers Podcast. Ken Korber, Founder of The Center For Functional Learning, is our guest. Ken takes us on a journey with Grace and her cast of friends in his series of published children’s books. Created based on the music note ‘Grace’, Ken’s stories are rooted in the behavioral development of kids, teaching them to read and live, better, more healthy lives. Grace and friends has even caught the eye of legendary rock star, and Soprano’s actor, Stevie Van Zandt. Be sure to be on the look out for Grace’s Rockin’ Roll Adventure coming soon to a book store near you.
Ken Korber, on our left, the author of Grace and Friend’s.
Ken Korber, in his former career, was a medical practitioner. Taking care of patients looking after their well being was his life. Ken found a way to incorporate his expertise in health into writing/telling stories to toddlers. Grace’s character, including her cast of friends, is not only entertaining kids, she teaches them the importance of health, wellness, and reading skills. Shaping the behavioral patterns of kids at a young age is what Ken has set out to do.
You must tune in to hear how Ken had his epiphany and how is son played a role in creating Grace and her friends.
With 11 published children’s books, Grace’s influence is starting to be felt by children all over the country. Grace’s story has also caught the recognition of the music community. With three more books in the making, Grace’s Rockin’ Roll Adventures, Stevie Van Zandt and the Rock And Roll Forever Foundation are teaming up with Ken, and the Center For Functional Learning Center, to publish three new great books.
