Ep. 37 - COSMO BAKER: PATRIOT GAMES
In our first masked up, socially distanced episode, Cosmo Baker joins us to talk about his crazy election season DJing adventures, including his work with Joy To The Polls, Election Defenders, and how he ended up DJing for the most important block party in the world. But first we start out all over the place talking about some new songs that came out in the last few week. Then we realize that we're actually doing a podcast and officially start the show. Cosmo tells us how it all went down in the weeks leading up to the elections and how everything unfolded in Philadelphia in the days after the election. We get into Covid and other current events. Since we love a good list here, we went down some of the classic uplifting freedom bangers Cosmo played at these events, which somehow leads us down the road of making fun of salty memes that old head rappers post. Then we talk about the Redbull Radio mix series that we're all involved with, HOLLERBOARED REDUX! This episode was really serious and hilarious at the same time and there was a lot of out takes that we may release in a bonus episode, but for now this is more than enough!

Ep 35- We're like the wind
We're back with more tales from the deejayshpere, starting off with a random discussion of Eminem's early work. Mike talks about his recent Djing experiences and what's been working and what's been flopping. Inspired by Vin Deisel's new song, we explore the rich hisrory of celebrities making music and share some of our "favorites". We have a lot of new music from both the hip hop and dance music worlds. Joe puts us all on new international drill from places you's least expect. And we wrap up talking about the latest Sault project. Another welcome break from the anxiety that is 2020!

Ep 34: A pleasantly irrelevant episode
Lets face it, it's impossible to keep up with alll the shit that goes on everyday in this hellscape of a year, so forgive us if these arent't the most pressing topics, but hey, maybe a little break from the chaos is needed. We start off with my Mike's triumphant return to DJing for people, the adjustments we're all making, and finally getting to see what songs are working for people and what songs didn't do that much. We fantasize about rolling into a club with a Travis Scott burger, while Mike explores his dancefloor body dysmorphia. Theres some brief discussion about The RBG acronyms other than Ruth Bader Ginsberg, reminiscing on Kony2012, and wondering how real is PS5 prostitution? We stumble upon a new microgenre that has been with us all along while going throught new hits, then end up reviewing the fallout of TIk Tok "bans" and some of the latest "bangers" that have emerged from a platform in which we all agree the world could do without.

ARD EP 33: (WAP) What A Podcast!!!
We start off light this week with some feel good smilers of years past before we deal with the full gravity and realization that this year blows so hard, get "all political" , and talk about how we someties need to take a break from the insanity that is the internet. We talk briefly about Qanon, the DJ's it has inspired, and the appeal of conspiracy theories in hip hop. All this serious talk does not stop me from playing another ridiculous mash up and talking about funny pranks that can be played with song titles. Ww dip briefly into some new songs and then debate the relevance of the XXL's Freshman class.

ARD 30: Do you know what today is?...it's our Ardiversary...Ardiversary....
It's episode 30 and our 1 year anniversary "special"! We get together to update each other on how "month 2" of quarantine went. We talk about what live streams were watching., the incredibly aggressive drum and bass (yes, you read right) joe has been obsessed with. We go through some joints off the new El Alfa, Charlie XCX, and talk about the state of Drake, Future, and other rappers who have ruled the universe for the last few years. We also talk a lot of nonsense-entertaining nonsense- but still nonsense, nonetheless. This episode was recorded on May on May 20th.

We get into how we're adjusting to the new reality and various bro science theories we've adopted. We play some of our favorite new song, Ghanian Paul bearer anthems, and debate who has the biggest hit right now, Drake or Megan? Bring it Home For Home For Jerome: The Lost Tapes (with a surprise "pop in" from Cosmo Baker)
It's been way too long! We will have new episodes coming soon! But for now, we have an older episode that got lost in the shuffle. Unlike Nas' Lost tapes, this was too good to let just disappear into the abyss. Its from February 26, 2020. It got sandwiched in between a bunch of other episodes and kinda forgotten about. We edited all the stuff that would make it dated and left in an hour and a half of us listening to mostly new dance music. But then the fun really started when we accidentally got into running down the best and worst sports-related rap collabs. Then, as if we hadn't already reached the apex of our podcast existence, Cosmo Baker pops in and joins in on the convo. Thanks for listening and we hope this holds you over till we drop some new episodes NEXT WEEK!

Blame It on My Deuce - New club bangers breakdown
Remember how our last episode was this highly informative documentaion of a musical genre that impacted our DJ lives and we then delved into the history of club music in a somehwat of an academic sense? This episode is definitely not like that! In this slightly dated, yet highly "entertaining" edition of the ARD podcast, we run down some "current" events involving Art Basel (basil, bazel), Lizzo's twerking incident, and changing of the lyrics to "Juice" to make it a "cautionary tale", as well as other internet stuff that captured our hearts and minds. We mostly review a lot of new hot and not so hot club bangers that are out now and have a lot of fun doing it.

Episode 17 - Tik Tok Rappers and The Curious Case of Lizzo Fans
We're back this week talking about our end of September magical memories and the odd behavior of some Lizzo Fans. Lowbeezy discusses his love/hate relationship with "Dreams and Nightmares" and Joe puts us on to some new Tik Tok songs, while we admit that this is the first social media phenomenon we may be allowing to pass us by. Joe speculates on the success of 12-year-old artist, YNW Bslime and we ramble about our own 12-year-old hobbies. We go over some new music and some Tekashi 69 commentary....and the color of Gritty's excrement.
