Produced by Cartoon Saloon and directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart, it follows the story of Robyn, a young English girl living in 1650s Ireland, and her interactions with a feral wolf girl named Mebh living in the neighboring forest. Based on a long running manga series, this film was directed by Isao Takahata (Pom Poko, Grave of the Fireflies) and follows the story of a surprisingly responsible but short-tempered young girl, Chie, and her life running a small restaurant and reining in her deadbeat dad, Tetsu. Join them as they discuss Tetsu being more of a dum-dum than a himbo, Chie's adorable relationship with her mother and the weird subplot involving cat testicles.
