Hope you enjoy!

Episode 14 - Nomad Brewing Co.
Really great Podcast, really poor sound quality. I really enjoyed talking here with Will about Nomad Brewing Company and everything exciting that they are doing as they slowly crack into the Australian craft beer market. The sound quality is poor, so I have written a transcript which is below. Enjoy the show: Adrian: “Welcome to An Australian Craft Beer Journey. Describe your role for us?” Will: “ I am the brand manager for Nomad Brewing and Experienceit beverages for NSW and ACT. One of the largest craft beer distributions in Australia.” Adrian: “Your role with Nomad Brewing.” Will: “Its been in the pipeline for about 12 months. Come to fruition about 3 months ago when the producer license was granted.” Adrian: “Seemed like a long time coming, I'd heard talk about brewery opening up not far from 4 pines brewery.” Will: “Definitely murmurs about it. Its a part ownership between Leonardo from Birra Del Dorgo and Kerry and Josh from Experienceit beverages. Over a couple of beers in Rome, the original idea came along. Went from a small hospitality craft beer venue idea to the whole hog of opening our own brewery and production.” Adrian: “OK. So the first beer we're tasting is the sideways Pale Ale?” Will: “Uses galaxy hops, exhibits a lot of floral and pine notes and significant bitterness.” Will notes that this beer is still a work in progress and needs to be “toned down” a little bit in order to achieve the “entry level pale ale” that they are after, trying to make it a little more approachable.” Adrian: “I've felt this has gone a little too far on the bitterness.” Will: “People who like their IPA style of beer, this will appease those guys, but people at the entry level its probably too much for.” Adrian: “It is very bitter, not a lemony bitter or horrible bitterness, just an unexpected bitterness.” Adrian: “So the brewery bar that you have opened up.” Will: “We have a cellar door license. Only allowed to sell at certain times and only allowed to sell tasters. We call it the Transit Longue. Guys can come in and try a range of beers. Try the tasting paddles, see what you like and take home a growler.” Adrian: “So with this pale ale, do you expect this to be your biggest selling beer?” Will: “We are up and running now. Keg sales in Sydney, Melbourne, little bit in Queensland and in Newcastle at the Hop Factory and in Maitland. Hopefully will be o
