In this episode, we look at the life and ministry of St. Phillip Neri, the sixteenth century ‘Apostle of Rome’ who was, at important junctions in his life, surprised by the new directions the Holy Spirit drew him. Our guest, friend and colleague Lorna DesRoses, is guided by that same Holy Spirit in her ministry as an Evangelization Consultant in the Archdiocese of Boston.

In episode 7, we chat about the call within a call of St. Teresa of Calcutta, how her service of the poorest of the poor was rooted in Christ, and other nuggets of wisdom St. Teresa offers us in our own path to holiness. We’ll also speak with two priests from the Archdiocese of Boston, Fr. Brian O’Hanlon and Fr. Tim Hynes, who each experienced one of those calls within a call, which is to serve on the team of priests ministering solely to COVID-19 patients.

In episode 6, we profile St. John Bosco, founder of the Salesians who dedication to poor urban youth outweighed any obstacle. Our guest, Paula O'Dea, shares about staying rooted in prayer, community, service, and educational excellence, as she leads the St. Augustine School community in Andover, MA, through the pandemic during her final year as principal!

Happy Month of Mary!  This week Tom and Rosemary discuss St. Damien of Molokai's life, and interview Francesca Alberti, who is a college student who in her spare time does youth ministry at a parish in the Archdiocese of Boston. 

Tom and Rosemary dive into the life of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, who devoted herself tirelessly to the poor and marginalized. She understood what it meant to love Christ crucified. They also speak with Karen Wenger, MS, RN, FCN, who serves as a Parish/Faith Community Nurse and helps train others. She give Tom and Rosemary perspective on how the medical world and faith world collide. 

Rosemary and Tom look at the life of Blessed Frederic Ozanam, the founder of the St. Vincent DePaul society.  After being challenged by a peer, he put his faith into action by caring for those in need.  Blessed Ozanam's life can be an inspiration for us, as we are still called to action amidst this pandemic.  John Corcoran, founder of Trinity Life Sciences and a faithful disciple in the Archdiocese of Boston, shares how he stepped into action to creatively aid the Church during this trying time. 

Tom and Rosemary discuss the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati and how he lived the call to holiness in his time. They are joined by Brother Jason of the Brotherhood of Hope, who explores how campus ministry is taking on a new form during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Brother Jason also shares that personal prayer is at the heart of being "always on mission."

Even in quarantine, we can still evangelize. In fact, the call to share the Gospel is heightened in times like this.
