In my Golden 50th Episode, I feature KC special guest and Altered Stories Ministry Board Treasurer, Jeannine Eddins. Jeannine lives in the KC area and is a Christian wife, Mom of three and a dog Mom of two. She also is the former Founder of Aaron’s House, a maternity home based in Harrisonville, Missouri.  In our conversation, Jeannine shares her story of redemption from the trauma of an abortion at 15 years old and the chains of alcohol addiction!  Her story is profound and powerful!  Jeannine also shares her healing journey and how God showed up in personal ways to help her heal.  

In this Episode, I feature special guest, Jennifer Dawn Eikenhorst.  Jennifer lives in  Central Texas and is married to her high school sweetheart of 20 years.  She is a Christian Mom of four children age 8-18, a math teacher and the talented host of the Accidental Hope podcast!  In our conversation, she shares how her life changed instantaneously after being involved in a tragic car accident that resulted in the death of a passenger in the other vehicle involved.  She also shares her story of pain, recovery and healing and how God met her in her pain and helped her move forward in her life to become a advocate for those involved in causing accidents involving death or injury.     Also included is a bonus Episode of Memaw Moments, “Warriors not Worriers”.   

In my first episode of 2021, I interview special Kingdom Rockstar guest, Michele Buckner Samodurov. Michele is an inspiring Christian single Mother of four, (aka “hot Mama”) who is from the Sacramento, California area. She is an educator and health coach, and is passionate about health, education, encouraging women, her children, and Jesus. In our conversation, Michele shares her redemptive and inspiring God 🔥story of rising up from her circumstances when she found herself a single mom after the birth of her fourth child. Her marriage to a Pastor came crashing down and she found herself in the midst of a volatile court battle with no means to provide for her children. During this time, she also received a devastating breast cancer diagnosis that left her fearful for her life and the lives of her children. Michele shares how her faith and the power of praise brought her through her battles and helped her to be victorious over fear and to be more than a conqueror! In this Thanksgiving Episode recorded on FB Live, I feature special co-host guest, Sha Sparks from the KC area.   Sha is a former show guest (Episode 7), Certified Fearless Coach and Podcast Host of the Power in Investing in People podcast. In our conversation, Sha and I discuss the power of praise and how how praising God in our difficult circumstances helped us overcome our struggles in ways we never anticipated. Sha also shares her God story of the admission of her dependency on God and complete surrender of control in her life, which set her free from an abusive relationship and opened new doors to walk in her purpose.  I share uplifting scriptures about praise from the Bible and how praise has helped me keep my eyes off myself and back to God during difficult struggles and setbacks I’ve encountered.  Sha also shares wise words about humility and how praise puts God above all our circumstances, which paves the way for God’s power to be displayed. In this Episode, Monika’s “Moments with Moni” God Story, I interview special guest Monika Hardy.  Monika is a Writer, Creative Story Teller and Podcast Host of “Moments with Moni” where salt makes us thirsty and light exposes darkness.  Moni also lives in beautiful North Idaho with her husband, Brad and has been married 38 years!  She has two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws, eight grandchildren and two grand-pups.  In our faith-building conversation, we discuss candidly Monika’s roller coaster journey of life and her God story of overcoming debilitating thyroid health issues, surgery and a challenging healing and recovery that transformed her faith and dependence on God! In this Episode, I interview special guest and friend, Rebecca Adams, a Midwest gal.   Rebecca is an author, blogger, women’s ministry leader, Domestic Violence Survivor, Mom of three adult children, has four grand-dogs and has survived 39 years of abuse.  In our open and candid conversation, we discuss her God story of breaking free from the chains of 39 years of abuse to a life of freedom!  Rebecca also shares how she learned to trust God in many new ways as she pursued her new life of freedom which she includes in her book, “Free to Soar”.  She also shares ministering words from scripture to help those who may be struggling or feeling trapped in an abusive relationship.     Also, I’ve added a show bonus to this Episode and will add this show to my future Episodes.  This new show segment, “Memaw Moments” is hosted by Altered Stories Ministry Board VP, Sandy Williams.  In her show, Sandy shares personal and inspiring faith stories as a Memaw to her three grandchildren.  

In this Episode, I interview my special guest from Houston, Texas, Baylee Dunn who is my Altered Stories Ministry Virtual Assistant.  Baylee is a recent college graduate and has a passion to help women see the love of the Lord in their lives.  She believes that there is hope and healing in every circumstance when you call on the name of the Lord.  In our conversation, Baylee and I discuss her God story and how she has seen the Lord at work in her life through disability, mental illness, and numerous other struggles!  Baylee also shares encouraging words from scripture to encourage others who may be struggling.  Enjoy listening to Baylee’s God glorifying story! 

In this Episode, I interview KC Kingdom Rockstar special guest, Misty Hughes.  Misty is the Founder and President of the international organization Mountain of Myrrh (M.O.M.) Ministries. She is also the visionary leader of the local expression of M.O.M. — The Single MOM KC and a new wife, Mom and Grammy.  In our conversation, Misty and I discuss the unique challenges she encountered as a single parent and mother of four that led her with God’s prompting, to become the Founder of Mountain of Myrrh in 2009 to assist single mothers and their surrounding communities. She has a passion for teaching and inspiring women to grow in God's word and values the authenticity of God stories.  In our conversation, Jayme shares her God story of what brought her to podcasting.  She also shares her story of how her empty lifestyle filled with materialism crumbled due to a 2008 economic downturn resulting in the loss of her home and other material possessions and a need to relocate to a new city far from her home.  Jayme also shares the inner God transformation she experienced in this transition by putting HIM on the throne, which has brought unexpected blessings to her and her family as they rebuilt their lives in Austin, Texas on the foundation of Jesus Christ. In this episode, I interview Karen Abu Saada.  In our conversation, Karen shares the inspiring God story of her marriage transformation to her husband of 47 years, a former Muslim now Christian man, Taysir, Tass, Abu Saada.    Karen’s story is rarely heard of among these kinds of marriages--- western women married to Muslim men. Usually, it doesn’t work out and the marriage ends. However, her story has a rare twist after nineteen years of marriage. One that is not of this world.   Karen is a Mom of two talented adult children, and Grandma of six beautiful grandchildren and has traveled the world with her author husband telling their amazing story of Grace.   Also, Tass and her, through their ministry “Hope for Ishmael”, spend their time teaching and training the church to reach out to their Muslim neighbors in love. Through their program, “Lead with Love”, and their daughter, Farah’s vision, they are building an online program of training and a network of discipleship for Muslims as well as others!    Karen is also a former English teacher and the Co-Founder of Seeds of Hope, a humanitarian organization serving in Gaza, Jericho, and Jerusalem.    Enjoy listening to her inspiring God-glorifying Altered Story!
