Happy new year everyone! Let’s talk about goal setting for the year. I know a lot of us have weight loss on that list of resolutions, myself included. Just remember a few things, especially if you haven’t been active much. You WILL BE SORE! Start your journey slowly, don’t jump into it full throttle and kill yourself on the first day. Your body will be sore the next day even if you do a light workout. That’s ok and that’s good! You want the soreness, so don’t run from it! Hit it the next day and I guarantee that once your body warms up you will feel much better. I hope this short tip helps. Intro - Alondrita's Fitness
Hi and welcome to the first podcast of Alondrita’s Fitness. The purpose of this podcast is to share my fitness journey to reach 150 lbs. The most I have ever weighed was 275 lbs back in 2014. At one point in early 2015 I reach my lowest of 165 lbs. In late 2015, I had surgery to remove a tumor and that put me out for months before I felt good enough to work out again. The lack of physical activity and food choices caused me to jump back up to 220 by the end of 2017. Since then I have been working really hard to drop to my current weight of 182. I plan to share workouts and healthy recipes that I have learned along the way. I started a YouTube channel called Alondrita’s Fitness where I will post vlogs on workouts, food, products and other fitness products. I hope you subscribe to the podcast and vlog on youtube.
