52: NFL Wild Card round recap, Divisional round picks
The NFL season is down to the final eight teams remaining. Adam, Brandan and Gerrad recap the previous week's games as each of the home teams advance to the divisional round. The guys toss aside any potential risk picks and get down to business with who matches up the best in these final games of the season. All three agree on who will win the New England game against the Texans, but Gerrad thinks the Falcons are the correct pick to get the job done at home in the playoffs to advance to the championship week. No consensus on Sunday as Gerrad likes the Steelers to continue their winning streak and Brandan is the only one who likes the Cowboys to win against the streaking Green Bay Packers. Finally, what's going on in Oakland. The offensive coordinator gets fired and the guys can come up with only two or three explanations for why that might be along with some additional topics from the past week, including thoughts on the college football national championship game.

51: NFL Week 17 and the Kress Bayrisch Zwickel
It's the final week of the regular season and the guys have had enough of their tour of Germany and their craft beer advent calendar. The trend with the beer is that it all tastes nearly the exact same and the guys have had enough. A lot of lopsided games this week in terms of user consensus, which means you'll want to pay attention to which of the risk picks are work taking this week to potentially set yourself apart from other pick'em players. Adam starts off with taking the Jets over the Bills. Fitzpatrick is in for the Jets against E.J. Manuel for the Bills and he says why he like New York in that matchup. Gerrad likes the Panthers over the Bucs, because he thinks Cam will have a little something extra for their division rival and to show that Winston belongs at the bottom among the QBs in that division. In an AFC North matchup with both teams out of the playoffs, Brandan thinks Cincinnati will get one final win at home this season and spoil what could be the last game of Steve Smith's career. This week's topics include a look at who the guys like in the MVP race and which team is the most dominant team in the NFL? iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

50: NFL Week 16 and the Winterfestbier from Privatbrauerei H. Egerer
We're back from another bye week and with Adam off enjoying the holidays and being unusually festive, Brandan and Gerrad run down their picks for Week 16. Since they recorded right before the Thursday night game, you can tune in and laugh at why they though the Giants actually stood a chance in that game. Gerrad takes the first risk pick of the week as he believes the Carolina Panthers showed last week that they aren't giving up on the season and have a chance to spoil the Falcons division title hopes and maybe even their opportunity to get into the playoffs. After watching the Rams score only three points on the Seahawks with some questionable decisions by the coach, Brandan thinks the 49ers could get their second win of the season which would also be their second victory over the Rams this year. Just in time for Christmas, the guys enjoy the Winterfest from Privatbrauerei H. Egerer. While some people online experienced a metallic taste with the beer in the past, neither had that experience. Wrapping up with topics, Drew Brees is the biggest Pro Bowl snub and the rookie runningback from Dallas helps bring in the donations for the Salvation Army for his week 15 antics.  iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

49: NFL Week 14 and the Löwenbrauerei Passau Urtyp Hell
The guys kick off the show with their picks for Thursday night football and Gerrad is the only who to take the Raiders on the road in Arrowhead. Adam gives his thoughts on why he thinks the Titans, playing at home, will upset the Broncos and win him a risk pick. Brandan liked how the Bills looked in the first half against the Raiders and hopes that's the team that shows up in Buffalo when they take on the Steelers.  The guys talk about Jeff Fisher's new contract extension and what it means for the Rams. Now that Tom Brady has 201 wins under his belt, is it an easy call to say that Genghis Tom is the greatest of all time? iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

48: Week 13 and the Memminger Gold Marzen
This week's schedule of NFL games kicks off with a very interesting matchup between the Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. This could be one of the biggest tests for Dak Prescott against one of the top defenses in the league. Brandan tags this game as his risk pick, going against his vow to pick the Cowboys for the rest of the regular season. Continuing through the schedule, Adam thinks that pick'em players may want to consider the Bengals as a risk pick. Not only are they favored in their matchup against the Eagles, but they're playing at home. Why is everyone picking the Eagles? Gerrad and Brandan give their thoughts on why the Eagles should get the road win. Gerrad loves rooting against the Seahawks, so he doubles down by picking the Panthers over Seattle. Carolina nearly beat the Raiders and they've won the last two matchups against the Seahawks, but is there anything else that gives him confidence in picking this matchup? The guys close the show by talking about the future of the Rams and if it includes Jeff Fisher who is on the verge of losing more games than any other coach in NFL history. iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

47: Week 12 and the Sprecher Brewing Co. Black Bavarian
Week 12 sees all the teams come off the bye weeks to a full slate of NFL games including three matchups on Thanksgiving Day. Adam, Brandan and Gerrad break down their favorites for each game and enjoy the Black Bavarian from Sprecher Brewing Company. The beer is a huge improvement over the last one from the same brewery. The guys close the show by updating their picks for which teams will win their divisions and which teams have the best chances to get a Wild Card bid.  iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

46: Week 11 and the Sprecher Brewing Co. Oktoberfest
The guys kick off the show by  running down the slate of games where teams are heavily favored. The lowest scorer from last week gets to pick first which underdog has the best chance of winning as his "risk pick." While originally thinking the Bears might have a shot against the Giants, seeing what Chicago did against Tampa Bay scared Brandan away and decided to go with a divisional matchup between the Steelers and Browns. Pittsburgh has a history this year of losing games they should have no business losing. Despite injury issues with the Ravens, Gerrad is picking Baltimore over the Cowboys, because it just seems like Dallas is bound to lose a game at some point and there's a chance the emotion from Tony Romo's comments this week end up impacting the team in some way. Adam's pick is for Tampa to get a win over the Chiefs, expecting them to carry over the dominant performance against the Bears into a Kansas City game where they struggled early in the game last week. Tune in for the rest of this week's picks as the guys drink a Sprecher Brewing Co. Oktoberfest. There's a lot of lopsided games and the rest are incredibly close - about a coin flip in terms of user consensus. The guys close the show by speculating which team Tony Romo could be playing with next season. iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

45: Week 10 and the Peak Organic IPA
The guys have added a new dimension to the risk pick this week. Feel free to adopt it while playing the league with any friends who may also be listening to the show. The lowest scorer from last week gets the first choice at securing his risk pick. With the Browns game already underway, the guys had locked in the Ravens though Gerrad wanted to make a last minute switch to the Browns, but couldn't. The guys talk about how he failed to even take a risk pick last week, so we need your suggestions on how Gerrad should be appropriately punished. Adam's risk pick this week is the Tennessee Titans, as he thinks the Packers will continue to slide and struggle against the Titans strong rushing attack despite the Packers sitting in first for team rushing defense. Gerrad decides he is taking the Bears to win this week on the road against the Bucs. While it isn't his official risk pick, Brandan is on his own in thinking the Dolphins continue to roll when Miami goes on the road to take on the Chargers. The official pick, the Seahawks to win over the Patriots, was to make sure Adam couldn't get away with using that game as his risk pick. This week, the guys enjoy the Peak Organic IPA and talk about whether or not the NFL should consider cutting down on the number of commercials in the TV broadcast. iTunes | Google Play | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

44: Week 9 and the Caught Lookin' Blonde Ale
After taking a bye week, Adam, Brandan and Gerrad are back to picking games. The bye week was good for Gerrad, because he came out on top for the first time this season as Adam and Brandan tied. Gerrad takes the first risk pick of the day taking the Jaguars on the road in Kansas City. When offensive coordinators get fired, it has seemingly helped to spark a team's offense in the game immediately following. Gerrad is counting on that happening in this game. Now that Norv Turner has resigned as OC for the Vikings (not fired) Brandan thinks the Vikings have a shot at continuing their slide. The Lions are streaky enough to win this game even against a solid Minnesota defense. With his risk pick, Adam sees an opportunity for Andrew Luck to win in a shootout against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers with Green Bay having a depleted running game. As the guys enjoy the Caught Lookin' Blonde Ale, a seasonal beer from Black Tooth Brewing Company, they wrap the show with discussing some topics from the week including the Jamie Collins trade to the Browns. iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

43: Week 7 and the Church Street Tale of the Shony Scottish Ale
The guys kick off the show with a look at two completely different offenses statistically, yet one team is drastically favored over the other. Adam sees it as an opportunity to take a chance after taking the lead among Brandan and Gerrad last week. After their meltdown against the Texans, the guys unanimously pick against the Colts which could put the Titans in a favorable spot in the division. Gerrad has no idea what to do with the Jets game against the Ravens. He likes New York at home with Geno Smith reportedly taking the helm of the team. Brandan says this will be a big week for Joe Flacco. Brandan thinks that people could be sleeping on the Jaguars this week as they play at home against a Raiders team that lost at home against Kansas City and now has to travel all the way across the country to take on Jacksonville.  This could give the Jags and opportunity to work their way into a good spot to win the division. Finally, a karma bug bites a notoriously dirty player.  iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

42: Week 6 and the R.J. Rockers Brown Eyed Squirrel
Kicking off the week with a Thursday night AFC West match up between the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers. Will the Bolts continue to find new and inventive ways to lose games or will they step up and get an upset versus their division rival with their head coach sitting out due to health concerns? Adam takes a risk on this game on going with the Chargers. With 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick named the starter for San Francisco, will that be enough to propel them toward a win against the surging Buffalo Bills. Gerrad seems to think so, though he's trailing in the bottom quarter of the pick'em league currently. Brandan's prediction for an upset this week is for the New York Jets to end their losing streak and defeat the Arizona Cardinals at home this week. Carson Palmer is set to return, but he hasn't looked like the same Palmer the Cardinals had as a MVP candidate last season. This week's beer review is for the R.J Rockers Brown Eyed Squirrel. For Adam, it's a bit bitter for a brown, but as someone likes his beer on the more bitter side, Brandan gives his approval.  iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

41: Week 5 and the Church Street Continental Lager
The first quarter of the NFL season is in the books and there are still a number of teams that are difficult to predict going into the coming weeks. Will Atlanta be able to continue their run of putting up big yards and points when they face Denver and Seattle in the next two weeks? Are the 3-1 Cowboys going to have what it takes to win at home against a 2-2 Bengals team that has already faced some tough opponents and will the undefeated Eagles be able to be a Lions team that lost on the road last week to the Bears? ChiroHawk tops the leader board after the first quarter. Week four winners were wideout888 and cathybart to help put them at second and third place on the overall leader board. Topics this week include Cam Newton and the Panthers offense. Why it's time to start thinking about how the team is using Newton in the run game. Lastly, has the NFL gone too far in flagging celebrations by not allowing players to shoot a pretend bow and arrow? iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

40: Week 4 and the Dunkulele Dark Wheat Ale
The guys are still reeling after last week's picks as there were some big upsets with Buffalo dominating the Cardinals, the Vikings beating Carolina at home and the Steelers losing big to the cross-state rival Philadelphia Eagles. This could be another interesting week as a lot of road teams seem like the logical pick, but the average win percentage for teams that travel is about 43% historically. This week's beer is the Dunkulele Dark Wheat Ale from RJ Rockers Brewing Company. Congratulations goes out to this week's winner, ABHIPAs222, even if it took 222 accounts try enough times to get more picks than everyone else on the leaderboard. iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

39: Week 3 and the Best Damn Root Beer
After two weeks, the guys feel like we're starting to get a sense of who these teams are. But there are few games where there is broad consensus this week, so it could be another struggle for some. Brandan, Adam and Gerrad start by talking Thursday Night Football. Despite the Patriots defense struggling early on and New England maybe down to their third-string quarterback, there is no consensus on the game.  Charlie Whitehurst is back in the league and now he's with the Browns? Will clipboard Jesus make it into the game? There's only about four games this week with a consensus in the high 80s or more. Tune in to see where the guys struggle to make their picks this week. This week's beer review is for the Best Damn Root Beer as the guys branch out to try a different sort of alcoholic beverage. Adam and Gerrad drink it straight while Bandan tries it with a scoop of ice cream. Topics this week include Darren Sharper's name on the list of Hall of Fame nominees, how long to Rex Ryan and his brother Rob have left in Buffalo, and Josh Gordon takes his time in responding to a court order for a paternity test. iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

38: Week 2 and the Goose Island IPA
With Adam and Gerrad on the road, the guys start by talking about the Jets Thursday night win over the Buffalo Bills. Brandan has the bragging rights for this week's show with only five missed games last week as they go into the Week 2 picks. The guys enjoy a Goose Island IPA on this week's show and talk about whether or not the Rams coach and general manager deserve their rumored extensions. We also talk about how Cam was beat up last Thursday contrasted with how things were handled with regard to QB hits in the Buffalo game.  Congrats to bggddycool for finishing in first place atop the Picks and IPAs leaderboard this past week. iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

37: 2016 NFL Season Kickoff picks, Redhook Summerhook Golden Rye Ale
If you're not doing anything to get better, how are you going to get better? That's the theme of this week's 2016 NFL season kickoff. Adam, Brandan and Gerrad are all back into it as they run down their picks for the opening week of football. Adam and Brandan teased that they were going to pick against the Broncos, but there's a key piece of information that could move them back over to pick Denver. This week's beer is the Redhook Summerhook Golden Rye Ale. After not drinking over most of the summer, Gerrad thought it would be good to ease into the fall with a low ABV beer. The guys run down their picks for division winners in the final segment of the show. They have a unanimous pick for the NFC East and it's some solid analysis as to why they'll come out ahead of the Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins. Do they see a four-game suspension will harm Genghis Tom's chances at leading the Patriots to the postseason? iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Website | RSS Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Join the Pick 'em league on NFL.com.

36: NFL Free Agency Roundup and Murphy's Irish Stout
Note: This is the first show where we shift from the "clean" to the "explicit" tag, so you may want to adjust your listening habits accordingly if sensitive ears are within earshot. We are back for our first show since the Super Bowl recap a few weeks back and Gerrad is still flying high despite the news that Mark Sanchez may be the team's starting quarterback for 2016. Recorded on St. Patrick's Day, the guys enjoy a Murphy's Irish Stout and talk about the free agent moves around the league. Which teams are the big winners and losers? The guys also talk about the apparent increase in market for solid corners and pass rushers and how valuable competent lineman have become in the league. Also, the NFL is considering some new rules. 35: Super Bowl recap, prize winners announced, and the Guinness Nitro IPA
The 2015 NFL season has come to an end and Gerrad is a happy man. The guys talk about how the Broncos were able to come away with the victory and talk about why Adam changed his mind about who he wanted to win the game by the second quarter. Beware to those who listen without headphones at work or around young years, this will be the last catfish-free show and will earn an explicit tag from here on out. This week, the guys experience nitro beer from a can at home with the Guinness Nitro IPA. Finally, the guys get into the league winners. Not only do we crown a champion, second place takes a prize and the guys each pick their favorite pick'em name among all of the participants to win a prize. 34: Super Bowl preview, conference championship recap and the New Belgium 1554 Black Lager
This week, we recap the conference championships while enjoying the New Belgium 1554 Black Lager. Adam, Brandan and Gerrad also preview the Super Bowl and offer their picks and the areas where each team has an advantage. Will the Broncos be able to slow down the Panthers rushing attack? Can the Broncos offense put enough points on the board and give their defense a lead to protect the same way they did against the Patriots? Can the Panthers take the kind of show they've been putting on at home and bring it to Santa Clara? We're not sure if any of these questions get answered, but we try. We have one person on top of the pick'em league, but that listener has to be able to protect a slim 10 point lead with this final week's pick, otherwise, it'll be a tie breaker among some of the other listeners. Also on the show, new scientific findings in the ball deflation scandal that captured the media's attention last offseason, a ridiculous petition that has Seahawks fans in the news and a record number of Pro Bowl players are declining their trip to Hawaii. iTunes | Stitcher | Facebook | Twitter | RSS Call or text: 253-235-9041Email: picksandipas@gmail.com Music from the show by The 12 Train, download at ReverbNation
