Aftermirth is back after a bit of a hiatus while Kirsty enjoyed (read: endured) an international holiday with her two cherubs.  This episode is all about sleep... or lack thereof... Remember sleeping? What a grand time that was. With a good night's rest nothing but a distance memory, Kirsty and Chelsea spend nearly the entirety of episode 12 complaining about their children's complete disregard for catching or permitting others to enjoy a bit of shut-eye.  Kirsty also recounts the "joys" of her recent international travels with her two non-compliant children. 

This episode we celebrate Chelsea's birthday, and throughout the recording she's given the best present ever: a very vocal and distracting 22 month old daughter, Annabel! Kids spend approximately 99.99999% of their time pushing boundaries, seeing just what they can get away with.  In episode 10 of Aftermirth, Chelsea shares a very fresh story of thwarting her child's attempt to steal from the supermarket, which inspires Kirsty to relive a defining moment of her childhood that involves theft of throat lozenges and the consequences of her actions.  It may be a rite of passage for children to attempt these sorts of things, but apparently it's also a rite of passage for parents too. Yet another thing we were not warned about before having kids. *drafts letter of complaint*

This episode Kirsty and Chelsea talk about how kids can really push you to your limits, especially during the school holidays, which also coincides with perhaps the sugary-est (yes that's a word) holiday ever invented: Easter! At the same age, Kirsty ran away from home. They now both have daughters, aged 6, and are terrified to discover what they're capable of.
