The two chat about the relocation of East Africa's high performance center from Burundi because of the current political climate in that country. Ntwali discusses tennis development in the East African region. He discuss the lack of popularity of the sport in some parts of the region and ITF's efforts to boost its popularity. The two talk about the challenges of retaining the older girls in the game, and the retention plans to keep them in the sport. Ntwali stresses the need for all nations to have their national training centers to help develop more talent. One of the talented kids Ntwali thinks will have a good tennis future is 15-year-old Sada Nahimana.

Episode 2 Podcast: Co-Founder Serve4Africa Thabani Sithole
In this episode of African Tennis Development Podcast, host Ashley Ndebele chats with Thabani Sithole, co-founder of non-profit tennis organization, Serve4Africa. They discuss the organization's plan to grow the game of tennis in Africa by developing talent. Sithole talks about the setup they’ve put in place in Zimbabwe and the plans to have the same system around the African continent. He also discusses the efforts to introduce the sport of tennis in rural areas as well. Sithole praises Zimbabwe’s tennis dynasty Wayne, Byron, and Cara Black for giving back to the Zimbabwe tennis community. He also applauds Serve4Africa ambassador, Zimbabwean tennis player Takanyi Garanganga for spending his spare time conducting tennis clinics in Zimbabwe. The two also discuss the bright future of collegian tennis player Benjamin Lock of Zimbabwe, who’s a team member of Floria State’s Seminoles Men’s Tennis. Episode 1 Podcast: President & CEO Tennis SA Gavin Crookes
In this first episode of African Tennis Development podcast, host Ashley Ndebele chats with the president and CEO of Tennis South Africa, Gavin Crookes. The two discuss South Africa Tennis Federation's 2016 development plans. Crookes talks about the federation's plans to expose rural people to the game of tennis, which is going to be a big challenge. He praises South African Kevin Anderson's contribution to the nation's tennis community (Anderson is currently ranked number 12 in the ATP World Rankings). Crookes also discusses the tennis federation's overall 15 year strategy to nurture a group of young talented tennis players to help them get into the WTA & ATP top 100.
