They cannot lift the problems of the society, but what they can do is provoke a debate, says GADO, speaking about the role of cartoonists like himself.
Born Godfrey Mwampembwa, the Tanzanian artist is one of Africas most widely syndicated editorial cartoonists and he's the guest on this edition of Africa in Progress. The one-time architect student student tells us what compelled him to start doing political drawings professionally and how being GADO is a 24/7 commitment.
